Future Plans

It had been a week since Alex had advanced to the silver rank. As he walked along the bustling streets, he couldn't help but grin as he looked at his silver adventurer's card. He had become an instant celebrity throughout the town, as a silver ranking adventurer was nothing less than a first-class celebrity in this world.

His popularity had skyrocketed within this week, and just yesterday, he had received a summons from the king himself asking for an audience next week.

Silver ranking adventurers were highly respected in this world, and their social standing was equivalent to that of Viscounts and Earls in the kingdoms.

The reason for his summons was obvious - to grant him a title of nobility, but Alex has no plans of being one.

While many people yearned to be a noble, it was not an easy task, as one had to maintain their fief and handle a lot of paperwork to govern the land properly, something Alex had no plans for.

So, what should he do now? He was now a silver ranking adventurer, and to advance to the rank of gold, it would take a lot of effort and hard work. The easiest way to become a gold rank was to hunt down a behemoth, which he could do easily, but he couldn't actively hunt one.

Behemoths were incredibly dangerous, and unless they went wild or entered human settlements, adventurers were not allowed to hunt them. This was because it could cause the behemoth to become enraged and actively attack humans, leading to a disciplinary committee being held on the hunter, which Alex did not care much about, considering his strength. However, it would still be troublesome to deal with.

Before becoming a silver rank, Alex had at least had a goal for himself, but now he did not have any. He would continue to train every day, but just training was not enough. As he looked at the bustling market, Alex thought of his next goal in life, but it did not take him long to find it - business.

Now that he had achieved the strength and status he desired, he could start his own business as a merchant. With his knowledge and ideas from the modern world, he could create new artifacts and mass-produce them. He began formulating his plans regarding being a merchant as he walked towards the inn.

For the large-scale business he had planned, it would require a lot of capital to start, but he did not worry about it since money was the last thing he lacked as a silver rank adventurer. He had hunted a lot of monsters, earning him a lot of money, and he had also excavated many hidden treasures of high value.

For the creation of artifacts, he could leave that up to Alfred, who could design the required machinery for mass production and maintenance.

For the raw materials, he had creation, materialization, transformation, and many other kinds of creation magic, but for a large-scale business, it was not an ideal approach. He would need to buy lands filled with ores and mine them to ensure the availability of raw materials. In this way, he could also enter the mining and distribution of them, which was a very profitable business.

The problem he would face would be finding capable people for assistance and loyal subordinates, which was very hard to find.

For this Alex decided to mind control and hypnotize his employees to ensure their loyalty towards him, even though it might be against the morals it is more efficient than dealing with corrupt and backstabbing employees.

Though he may refer it as mind controlling, it is just increase his favourability amongst his employees making it impossible for them to betray him or something.

As he reached the inn, he also decided to build a luxurious house for himself to live in. Greeting the manager, he took the keys for his room and entered it.

"Alfred, search for some renowned traders who are on a verge of bankruptcy or corrupt"

[Yes Sir]

"Also search for undiscovered mines of mithril, gold, and other valuable minerals"

It didn't take long for Alfred to found everything he asked for he once again asked Alfred to build blueprints for production line of his future products.

Targetting the adventurers, commoners and nobles he came up with the following ideas about industries to enter in:

1) Storage bags/ rings/ belts etc.

2) Recovery items like Mega Heal crystals, Refresh Crystals, Recovery Crystals etc.

3) Better weapons enchanted with various different kinds of spells.

4) Modern day toilets and accessories for every day uses including soaps, perfumes, etc.

5) Fast food chain and refreshments and many other things.

Noting everything down he looked out of the window and looked at the setting sun which created a beautiful scenario.

"Sigh it is really a beautiful world"

Alex couldn't help but remember his old world. Once again thinking about the anime which resembles this world he once again asked Alfred to check for a smartphone.
