Katherine's Favourite Garden

Cali decides to go for a stroll around the large estate that she did not get the chance to visit the previous night when their discussion ends. Ruby decides to accompany her.

Cali exclaims, "Whoa, this place is so huge," as she takes in the rolling acres of grassland that can be seen in front of her.

Ruby lets out a chuckle. "When my mother brought Tara and me here for the first time, I had the same reaction. When I was younger, I thought of it as a castle."

"Katherine, Nik's mother, received the estate as an inheritance from Katerine's mother. They are old money. I've been told that the property has a long history." She goes on further.

"Did you spend much time around here when you were a kid?" Cali asks with a sense of wonder.

"Yes, this was our home for the most part. Nik' mother Katherine had rooms for us to spend time with Mom while she worked."
