A meeting with Kimberly has been set up at her flower shop in lower Manhattan.

Nik doesn't seem like the concept that Cali will be engaged in the plot. Still, he recognizes how much Ruby puts her faith in Cali and how resourceful Ruby's strategy is. He agrees to her participation on one condition: she will have bodyguards surrounding her whenever she is out of his sight.

Cali believes it is exaggerated, but she is willing to do what it takes to cheer him up.

So, there she is. Ruby and I were in the quaint little flower store. The appearance of the business is further diminished by the presence of the three muscular bodyguards, led by John and dressed in black suits. They are standing by her side.

Kimberly is a blonde beauty with a supermodel physique and a Hollywood star's face. Cali can't help but wonder whether his exes have been as stunningly beautiful as she is.
