Unexpected Events

Mr Jock Luke was rushed to the hospital. Maya remained so restless and confused. She kept praying for her father to survive. She moved back and forth in the Hallway near the Operating area where Jock was taken. A few minutes later, Josh showed up. He was in a hurry.

       " Excuse me Ms, Do you have a patient here by the name of Jock Luke? 

        " Oh yeah, second floor but you can't go there, '' she said.

        " I have to, my friend needs me please, '' he pleaded.

       " Sir, we don't allow people near that area. Take a seat over there and I will get back to you, '' the nurse told him. Josh pretended to have heard and walked towards the seat. He then ran into the elevator but the nurses at the reception saw him. Hey! Sir! The nurse called but he already left already. When Maya saw Josh, she ran to him and he swept her into his Arms. Maya cried so bitterly regretting all she had done. Josh held Maya so tightly and comforted her.
