The next morning, Luna and Theo were waiting for me outside by a tree, to go hang out, wherever they planned to go. I had told them yesterday where to meet me.

"Hey, sleeping beauty." Luna said, as I walked out to meet them.

"Is this where you live? And are you going to tell your parents that you're bout to leave?" Theo asked.

That's when my heart shattered into pieces.

"Yeah, and well um, my parents passed away years ago and I don't live with anyone else, except for a dove supposedly watching over me," I mumbled.

That's when Theo and Luna started to hug me.

"Oh, I'm sorry I told you that, I should've worded my words properly or just never asked that." Theo cried.

  "It's fine, Theo," I said, fighting back tears. "So, where are we going?" I asked as I wiped the tears out of my eyes.

    "Oh, we're going to the Mystery Garden," Luna said as Theo jumped.

  "What?! We're gg-going there?!"

    "Yes, we're going there, Theo." as she rolled her eyes at him, "I never been there before, but it sounds wonderful!"

We started to head down the street when Luna said,

     "I heard that mythical creatures live in the Mystery Garden. Hey! Maybe we might find some."

  I can't help but laugh when Theo started to hug himself. All I said was,

  "Don't worry, Theo we'll all stick together."

    "Thank you, Gabriela. You know how to make a friend feel better."

Friend. I can get used to that.
