Monarch of Death! (2)

"I am who you once vanquished with treacherous traps and an ambush. But what will you amount to by yourself?"

Aethereom's calm voice abruptly transformed into the voice of an absolute ruler of death. His voice echoed throughout the battlefield.

"I am the Monarch of Death. And I will have my revenge!"

Coccineous was terrified to be meeting this old relic again. He would beg if he knew it would save his life. He could build himself another Dukedom even if this skeleton slaughtered all his men, but he couldn't get another life. With these thoughts in mind, he gave yet another command.

"Attack this skeleton! Sacrifice yourselves for me!"

Such a disgusting proclamation of his pathetic behaviour would normally be despised, but these demons were, nonetheless, duty-bound to serve him. The classes between demons were usually absolute and lower-tier demons would bound themselves for the service of a higher-tiered demon for life.
