The realization

It was only a few minutes before the battle between Shinso and Izuku, Izuku was in the 1-A waiting room, relaxing and mentally preparing for the fight with Ojiro telling him about Shinso's quirk and what he experienced, while Shinso was with Kaminari and Mineta outside the stadium.

Everyone that was going to fight was preparing themselves one way or another, for the first time they were going to fight on live television to prove their strength.

After a few minutes, Present Mic finally announced it was time for both of them to prepare and it was soon time for the fight, "Hey man, we may not know each other that much but, good luck!" Kaminari says with a smile.

"Good luck!" Mineta says, Shinso felt something he hadn't in his whole life, he's never had friends his entire life, people always avoided him because of his quirk. But now, although the time was short, he saw Mineta and Kaminari as friends, and they were only going to get closer. So what I'm saying was for the first time...Shinso was truly happy to be around people.

"Thank you" He said with a small smile and then he walked off to where he needed to go, Mineta and Kaminari then proceeded to head to the stadium seats.

Mineta and Kaminari were sitting in the audience, in the Class 1-A section, and the fight was just about to begin.

'Finally, I'll be able to see one for all' Mineta thought while Shinso and Izuku were standing a few meters away from each other, Mineta has been dying to see one for all in action and finally, the chance has come.

Present Mic was describing the rules of the fight, and soon enough...it began.

"START!" Present Mic shouted, and everyone in the audience was seeing how Izuku and Shinso were exchanging words. After a few seconds, Izuku began running toward Shinso while he shouted something that nobody heard, and just after taking a few steps, he stopped, confusing everyone, making Ojiro mad because he told Izuku not to respond.

Everyone was shocked at this development, "Mineta is that Shinso's quirk?" Kaminari asks Mineta who was sitting to his left.

"No, it's bob's, of course, it's Shinso's quirk" Mineta says with a blank face, Kaminari ignoring the first statement Mineta said asked another question.

"Do you know what his quirk is exactly?" Kaminari asks, everyone in class 1-A was also curious so they decided to be noisy and overhear the conversation, Mineta decided to answer.

"Brainwashing, the second you speak after he asks a question, you are under his control" Mineta says while Izuku turned around and started slowly walking out of the arena.

Everyone in class 1-A grew shocked, as well as Kaminari, "Damn, so you're saying that Izuku has already lost?" Kaminari asks, making Izuku's friend worry.

Mineta looked at Izuku slowly walking, he kept getting closer and closer to the out-of-bound line, and the second he would pass that line, it was over, "Who knows, it all depends on Izuku" He says, Kaminari's attention changed back to the fight.

Now what happens next will greatly shock Mineta, ever since Mineta has appeared on this world, all memories of his past are fussy, everything that involved heroes, villains, and quirks, was blurry as if someone purposely made it like that. He doesn't remember much of the entrance exam or the U.S.J attack.

The only memories he has are from just minor events of the past, like for instance, his mother leaving and never coming back, basically abandoning Mineta and his father. Or when he was bullied in elementary and also a little bit in middle school.

Stuff like that is all he remembers of the past, during the first and second part of the sports festival Mineta was only focused on one thing, and that was getting second place, getting the techniques he bought, and befriending Shinso.

Now Mineta was solely focusing on the battles and analyzing them, so basically for the first time since he has opened his eyes to this world...he was actually paying attention to quirks...

*BOOOM*

Izuku's quirk activated just before he managed to go past the out-of-bounds line, the air pressure was enough for the arena to crack, it reached not only Shinso and Midnight but even the audience. Mineta's eyes widen, and he realized that the world he is in...is a lot more dangerous than he thought.

"MIDORIYA STOPPED!" Shouted Present mic, everyone started cheering as well as Izuku's friends, while all of this was happening Mineta was still in shock trying to recompose himself.

'That was... a lot more powerful than in the anime, I can't even fathom how strong that was, and I can't even tell if that was 100%...I guess this world is a lot more dangerous than I thought' Mineta thought, but he didn't dislike it, instead a smirk grew, this world had to offer more than he imagined.

"Hey Kaminari follow me" Mineta said while getting up, Kaminari was confused but nonetheless he followed Mineta. Izuku was running toward Shinso, Shinso was confused, how did he activate his quirk? He was angry at Izuku, most of the things he was saying were true, and he was frustrated, this wasn't how it was supposed to go! Shinso felt hopeless.

But although he was enraged, frustrated, and more, he couldn't do anything because he had no combat experience, he tried his best, throwing punches and so...

"Shinso is out of bounds! Midoriya advances to round 2" Midnight announced, the crowd went wild, Shinso was knocked out for a few seconds, but during those few seconds, a lot happened inside his mind.

Shinso then woke up, during the time he was knocked out, a lot went through his head, finally, he stood up and decided to share a few words with Izuku in the middle of the arena, while Present Mic said his comments while people were clapping.

While Shinso was going walking toward the tunnel to exit the arena, he heard his classmates say how cool he was, and telling him how he did his best, he then heard pro heroes say how useful his quirk is. Then finally, he saw Kaminari and Mineta walk toward the part where his classmates were.

"You did a good job out there" Mineta said, "Bro why didn't you tell me your quirk was that cool!" Kaminari added, they said a few more things but quite frankly...Shinso was too happy to hear the rest.

"Even with how bad I did, they'll still review me and I'll make sure that one day I enter heroics, also I'll make sure that in the future...I become a great fucking hero" Shinso said loud enough for Izuku, to hear, Mineta and Kaminari smiled at his statement.

It was now time for Kaminari's battle, Mineta was seating by himself, nervous about how the fight will go. Right now Shoto was pissed, and Mineta could tell, it was around this time he had the conversation with his father and his emotions were running haywire.

'Mineta told me that the best chance of me winning is by going all out from the beginning, and from what I've seen today, he been doing some crazy shit, so I'll trust him!' Kaminari thought, preparing himself to let loose. Meanwhile, Shoto had a very dark expression.

"START!" Present Mic shouted after saying a whole bunch of other stuff, "I might lose, but at least ima give it my all" Kaminari said while charging himself with all the electricity he had, he then slammed his hands on the ground making all the electricity travel throughout the arena.

The amount of electricity was enough to make any person faint but unfortunately, Kaminari's opponent was not just any person...it was Shoto...

*ZZZTTTTT*

*BOOM*

The entire arena shook because the power of Shoto's attack, one side of the arena was completely covered in ice making it seem like an Ice mountain, it was much more powerful than in the anime.

Everyone's eyes were wide open including Mineta's but he's were just a little bit, a bit excessive on Shoto's part but he didn't care, after all, he needed to let out his anger on something or someone and for him, this fight was the perfect opportunity.

"This fucker...' Mineta thought while looking at Shoto, Shoto let out a sigh of cold air his eyes still showing nothing but anger.

"Kaminari, can you move?" Midnight asks, unfortunately, Kaminari couldn't even speak, midnight then announced that Kaminari could no longer move and Shoto was moving on to the next round.

Shoto walked toward Kaminari, extending his left hand and starting to unfreeze him but for some reason...he looked very sad. Well, we all know the reason but that's what Izuku was thinking, Mineta, on the other hand, was thinking about his match, which was the one that was going to be next.

"The assassin from class B! Remember people, there's always a thorn in the pretty things, from the hero course, Ibara Shiozaki! Versus the boy that has been nothing but full of surprises, a boy who got second place barely even using his quirk in both events, the snake of class A!" Present mic announced while both Ibara and Mineta were walking up to the arena, 'that has to be an insult' Mineta thought.

"Now, you folks better be ready becau-" Before Present Mic could continue he was interrupted by Ibara.

"Um...please excuse me for the interruption, what do you mean by "assassin"? I have only come to find victory, not to take my opponent's life" Then she went on and on about how she entered U.A for pure reasons, and Present Mic had to apologize, anyway While all of this was happening. Mineta was just watching this unfold.

'I guess some things just never change huh' He thought, soon enough Ibara walked back to her place, a few meters in front of Mineta.

They both stared at each other dead in the eyes, Ibara was a religious girl, a very religious one at that, so her entire childhood and even now, she thinks that God is always protecting her, so she never has been scared of anything...

But just before the match started, she could have sworn that the face Mineta made...was a face a human should never make...and it send her shivers down her spine...

"Anyway, Start!"
