"Why can't you sleep?"

I asked holding the door open

Cosmo made a face then went inside my room

"Do I have to explain everything to you Athy? If I can't sleep, I can't sleep deal with it"

Cosmo said as he jumped and lied down on my bed looking at me

I looked at him in disbelief

Cosmo looked at me patting my bed telling me to come and lay down with him

I sighed and did as he told me

This is my room why would he even act like it's his

I thought as I lied down looking up in the ceiling

Both of us looked up the ceiling silently

I looked at Cosmo who was lying down beside me

"Why can't you sleep?"

I said with a worried look on my face

But Cosmo is just silent while looking up

"...."

I then turned my body facing Cosmo looking at him hoping he would answer

Cosmo looked at me then turned to look up

"Remember you asked me about my red eyes?"

Cosmo asked with a sad look on his face

I nod my head and waited for him to talk

His face then went sadder and sadder furrowing his brows even more

He then faced his body to me and gave me a sad face....

"It's not the time yet... I really wanted to tell you but it's just not the time yet"

Cosmo said as he looked at me feeling sorry

My face then worried seeing him in this state

I then patted his head

"It must be more harder to keep it from me, don't worry I understand"

I said trying to make Cosmo better but his expression is still the same

".....I'll wait until that woman you told me will appear"

I smiled saying that

Cosmo smiled worried and sadly

Cosmo then took my hand that was on his head and caressed it gently

"That woman I told you about...You actually know her"

Cosmo said while he caressed and looking at my hand

I was confused

"I do?"

I asked Cosmo raising on of my eyebrows

Cosmo just smiled

Hmm

I know her? is it the girl that was shown in my dreams?

I thought asking myself

I then looked at Cosmo who was still playing with my hands

"Is that the reason why you can't fall asleep?"

I asked Cosmo

Cosmo then turned his gaze to me

Then turned his body to face the ceiling

"That is one of them..."

Cosmo said sadly

"Is it about Old lady Sherby?"

I asked Cosmo

"Yeah..."

Cosmo answered softly

I don't know what to say to give him comfort

What should I do?

I thought

Cosmo looked at me as I was thinking he then poked my forehead asking for my attention

"Yes?"

I asked

"I'll tell you something about the old lady"

Cosmo said smiling

I then looked at him with a serious face

"You already know the old lady can see the future right?"

Cosmo said as he smiled at me warmly

I nodded my head

"And old Sherby can see everybody's past if she touched them, that's the reason she can tell your future"

Cosmo said

I nodded again

Cosmo smiled back at me

"Old Sherby knew my past..."

?!

"She knew before she even met me"

Cosmo smiled thinking back about the times with old ady Sherby

"But wait didn't you say that the only thing she can know people's past is if she held or touched them?"

I asked confused

If she knew him before she even met him then

"My big brother and old Sherby knew each other and that's how she knew me"

"Your big brother?"

I asked him again

Cosmo nodded

"Who is your brother?"

I asked again

"His name is Kalen"

Kalen....

Thinking about the name Kalen

I thought of asking him

"Hey did you say you were a demon?"

I asked looking at Cosmo

But Cosmo just looked at me confused

"I did?"

Cosmo said in a confused tone of voice

I then looked back confused

"Yes you did"

I answered back

Cosmo just stared at me starts to question himself

"No I didn't"

Cosmo said shaming his head denying he ever said that

"Yes you did!"

I said in a confused tone

I swear he told me that... I think or maybe i'm just making stuff up

"....."

The both of us just stared at each other thinking who's right and wrong

"If I did say that- I mean no I didn't say that!"

Cosmo continued to deny

"You d-"

I paused

Cosmo still staring at me

Did he tell me he was a demon?

"I don't know"

Cosmo said confused even more as his faced showed he doesn't have a clue

"Then what are you again?"

I asked

"I'm a magical being?"

Cosmo looking at me in a confused state

"Why are you asking me?"

I said confused

"I don't know.... I forgot what my brother told me"

Cosmo said as he closed his eyes thinking

"....."

Why doesn't he know what he is?

I scratched my head thinking

Right I don't know how old Cosmo is

I looked at Cosmo with his eyes closed still thinking

I poked his cheeks and Cosmo opened his and looked at me

Cosmo raised both of his eyebrows asking what I want

"How old are you?"

I asked Cosmo

"....."

Cosmo looked at me with a shocked face

"You don't know?!"

Cosmo yelled

I turned my gaze away guilty

Cosmo just stared at me intensely and sighed heavily

"I'm 15"

Cosmo said

?!

He's 15?!

I'm 1 year older than him

I thought

"1 year older?!"

Cosmo exclaimed

I looked at Cosmo angry for him to read my mind

"Oh... hehe sorry"

Cosmo said as he scratched his cheeks softly

"I thought your 100 years old?"

I said looking at Cosmo seriously

"Excuse me?! well... I'm actually 115 this year if i'm in my Diwata form?"

Cosmo said as he looked up in the ceiling thinking scratching his head

Diwata?

Cosmo's eyes then widened and looked at me smiling

"yes! that's what I am!"

Cosmo exclaimed happily flapping his arms and legs around

"Diwata? but isn't a Diwata supposed to be a guardian in some place like forests?"

I asked Cosmo

Diwata....I've heard about this in my previous life

Everytime my siblings can't sleep mother would always talk about Diwata and how enchanting they are

And most of them are called Goddess, A guardian of the forests etc...

So there are Diwata's in this world too?

I don't really believe in that kind of stuff since I thought that it was a childish imagination that their parents told their childrens

Some claims that Diwatas are actually true and some opposed

And i'm 1 of those people that doesn't believe in that kind of mythology

"I was actually a guardian of the forest, but after that incident all of us were kicked out and was not allowed to guard that forest ever again..."

Cosmo said with a melancholy look on his face

"...."

I stared at him don't know what to say

"But aren't you 15?"

I asked

"In my human years but if I add the time I was a Diwata i'm 115"

Cosmo said counting his fingers

"Is that so"

I answered

He was kicked out after that incident

Where is that forest?

"What kind of forest was it?"

I asked Cosmo with a sparkling eyes

Cosmo gave me a glance and laughed at me

"Pfft! are you a kid why do you want to know about that?!"

Covering his mouth as he pointed at me laughing

I looked at him furrowing my brows the smile on my face then quickly faded

"What are you talking about?! learning about what kind of forest you guarded doesn't make me a kid"

I said angrily pushing away the finger he pointed at me

"Yeah yeah, kids usually ask that kind of stuff"

Cosmo said as he wiped his tears away smiling gently

I looked at him annoyed

Cosmo then gave me a glance and smirked

He then turned around and tried to sleep

"Too tired to tell you"

Cosmo said as he tries to take my blanket

I will never forgive you for insulting me!

It wasn't to be that mad about but I was annoyed

So I pettily took the blanket leaving him with a little bit covering him

The both of us then became quiet trying to sleep

"Hey"

I called for Cosmo

Cosmo moved slightly looking at me while his back turned against me

"I really wanted to know where that forest is..."

I asked Cosmo

"....."

It was just silence

I got upset but I thought that maybe the reason he won't tell me is something he doesn't want to share

"That was ruined a long time ago when she went on a rampage"

Cosmo answered after a long silence

"Is that so...?"

I said while i held my blanket tightly

"Yeah"

Cosmo said

Then silence then filled the room

"...."

"...."

"Hey can you give me a little bit of blanket? it's getting quite cold"

Cosmo said

"Ah yes sure..."

I said as i shared my blanket with him

I then asked

"Why are you even sleeping here? thought you're going back?"

Looking back at him

"Why are you kicking me out? I can't sleep so just let me sleep here..."

Cosmo said as he tightens holding the blanket

I then sighed and tried to sleep

After a long time of thinking

"Night Cosmo"

I said

"Night"

Cosmo answered back

If I have time tomorrow i'll visit Claude...

I then finally slept and so does Cosmo
