Chapter 37

I have fallen asleep and to arrive in a dream

Where there were silence, empty

In a forest trees, grass, bushes rocks, vines, and flowers everywhere

"A dream?"

I asked myself

I looked down and to see myself in a red dress like blood

What a beautiful dress

I said in my head

I then looked at my feet to see a beautiful silver sandals

This outfit is quite expensive

I smiled gently and span around making my dress all flowy and beautifully spinning around with me

I then realized

"What is it this time?"

I asked myself again

looking around

Wondering where I am in the middle of the forest I find myself walking in a straight line

Walking and walking until I see a pond from the distance

My eyes widened to see a beautiful pond

"A pond again?"

I asked

But I shrugged it off and tried

forgetting about it

Then suddenly seeing the pond, my lips became dry my throat needed water so suddenly

"I have no choice but to drink the water pond"

I talked to myself

I then slowly walked towards the water and drank it

To my surprise the pond doesn't seem dirty and is safe to drink

I knew I was in a dream and I was mesmerized by the beautiful forest I'm in

I then looked around to see what to eat since after drinking some water I became hungry

I walked and walked again looking for food

"Did I dream about the forest because of what Cosmo and I talked about?"

I talked to myself again

Wiping the sweat off my face, tired and breathing heavily by walking for and hour

Seeing no signs of food

I was about to give up when I heard rustling noises around the bushes

I turned to look where the noise is coming from

But there was no sign of anything I tried ignoring it but I heard it again

I quickly turned to where the noise was and saw one of the bushes moving

"....?"

I tilt my head wondering what or who it was

I then walked towards the bush that was moving around

And again this time I saw and heard the bush moving

I sneakily walked towards the bush and then....

"Aaaaahhh!"

A child shouted in fear

"Kyaaaaaaaa!"

I shouted with him

Both of us covering our faces not moving an inch

And there was silence between the 2 of us

As I glanced back at the kid to see a very familiar red hair

"Claude?!"

I quickly went near Claude that was in front of me holding his arm

Claude looked frightened shivering and was stunned by me

"Claude...?"

I whispered gently

But Claude's face were so scared by me

I was worried and sad looking at Claude

Looking at Claude shivering and seeing dirt and bruises on his body

I got angry ann I furrowed my brows

"Did your mother do this to you?"

I asked gently as I touched one of Claude's bruises

But Claude just backed away from me still shivering and protecting his body

How could she?!

I angrily yelled inside my head biting my lips and clenching my fists

I don't know what to do!

I kept on promising that I'd help him but there is nothing that I can do...

I'm still too weak

I said inside of my head

I was feeling useless and defeated

"I'm fine..."

Claude said as he touched may hand and looked at me straight in the eyes

"I'm fine Athy..."

Claude smiled at me brightly showing no signs of sadness with his eyes shining brightly

"Claude?"

I said worried and shocked

"I thought you don't know me?"

I asked again

But Claude stood up and turned his back

Claude looked back at me and smiled gently then walked away

?!

Claude....

"W...wait Claude!"

I tried calling out his name but there were no response

I tried catching his hands but Claude was too far away

I then stood up and started chasing after him

But as I chase and ran after him he slowly vanished in the white mist that starts to form around

!

The white mist covered the forest then around me

I kept on looking around in circles but it was all covered in mist

"Oh no no no!"

I shouted scared

"Claude!"

I shouted looking for Claude shivering, embracing myself trying to look for him

But he was gone...

I was so scared that tears started to form and still shivering alone crying as I embraced myself

"Sniff....sniff"

I cried quietly...

Then everything around me starts to get dark

*Booooksh!*

It suddenly rained and a thunder was heard

It was raining heavily all the mist were starting to fade away

I backed away scared of what's happening looking up and everywhere

"Kyaaaa!"

I screamed in terror

I quickly looked down to what it was

And I was near the edge of a cliff

My eyes widened and thought that if I even backed away even just a little bit... I'd fall and die

Shivering because of the thought of me dying and because of the coldness around me

Embracing myself trying to calm and warm myself but it did not working at all

"Help! Someone please help! "

I shouted desperately over and over again but there was no one there

I shivered and cried don't know what to do

When suddenly I heard people from the distance shouting from afar

I looked up to see where they are

I saw them holding there lamps, they seem to be looking for someone

But I did not care and was relieved to see them

I was happy I smiled in relief

"Hey please help! I'm right here!"

I yelled waving my arms around

The people that was far from me became quiet looking back at me

"There she is!"

The 1st man shouted

"That's the witch! catch her!"

Another yelled pointing at me

"What?!"

I shouted confused on what's happening

I was about to run away when I remembered I was near the edge of a cliff

There was no other way except infront of me where the people are

"You monster you killed my daughter!"

The woman yelled at me crying in anger

"You sacrificed my son for your stupid obsession!"

The man yelled

"What?! no I- I didn't do anything!"

I Shouted scared waving my hands around saying no

"You dare lie to us when the evidence is right in you hands and dress you witch!"

The woman yelled crying looking at me in angrily

"What...?"

I mumbled

I then looked at my hands I saw bruises and blood all over my face and body

What..?

I touched my face shivering and shocked

"Your dress! that dress you wore is the dress you used to kill our family!"

The man shouted in anger

"No no this- this is...."

I looked down at my dress and saw some of the blood washing away to reveal a white dress

My eyes widened to see all of this is happening

"It was really a red dress, it wasn't blood... I swear!"

I mumbled holding the hem of my dress

People then started to come nearer and nearer

Shouting out my name and witch as they call me

"What's happening?"

I questioned myself

I can't move, the only thing I can do is watch the people with anger coming closer

When suddenly someone from behind hugged me

"Athy..."

Someone whispered my name sweetly

I looked back to see who it was and it was Claude...

My eyes widened to see Claude looking like who was in his 20's

"Claude grew up....?"

I mumbled to myself

Holding the arms he wrapped around me

Claude then gave me an eery smile he came near me and whispered in my ear

"Let's go together Athy"

Claude said as he tightened his grip around me

?!

"What are you talking about Claude?!"

I shouted confused

Claude just stared at me smiling still

and points to the people coming towards us

"You see that people over there?"

Claude whispered

I followed his arm and he pointed straight where the people are

"Because of us... Their loved ones died"

Claude whispered again

"What do you mean?"

I said shivering voice as my eyes widened still

"Because of you...You told me to..."

Claude looked at me his smile faded away and stared at me

"What?"

I mumbled

"You used me Athy... I thought that if I do what you'd told me to.... you'll love me"

Claude said with a saddened tone

I don't know if his crying because or because of the heavy rain but I looked at Claude's eyes as it was getting a little red from crying...

I looked at him shivering in silence I don't know what to say and I just stared at him with a sad face

But Claude smiled again and this time his smile was sad and yet happy at the same time

Claude then slowly went near my ears and whispered

"It's okay Athy, if you can't give your love to me...."

"W-what are you doing?!"

I shouted afraid as he tightened his grip around me even more

"Let's just die together since that's the only way I could have you"

Claude then slowly went backwards the 2 of us falling off the cliff as he hugged me tightly...

"Noooooooo!"

I shouted at the top of my lungs!

*Bang!*

I hit my head and woke up on the floor

I slowly opened my eyes to see Cosmo on my bed with a guilty look on his face

"Oops s-so sorry about that, I forgot to tell you that I move a lot in my sleep hehe"

Cosmo said as he looked at me giggling guiltily scratching his cheeks gently

I gave a sigh of relief to see that i'm here in my room alive and well....

"..."

I stared at Cosmo for a second then I felt something coming

I can't stop it and then tears kept falling

I started crying

"Sniff..sniff..sniff"

Seeing me cry Cosmo then came to me panicking and trying to calm me down thinking that I cried because of him

I wanted to tell him that it wasn't the reason i'm crying but I don't want him to know of what happened in my dream....

And since he kicked me off my bed let me just tease him make myself feel a little better

And Cosmo who was panicking around me made me a little better

This is his punishment

I sai inside my head

"I-i'm so sorry Athy!!!"

Cosmo tried to calm me down

*giggle*

I giggled softly

And thought about it again

"..."

I then went sent and staring at thin air

That incident that happened in my dream.....

I hope it won't happen...

Please don't let it happen...
