Eliseline didn't know how Savine knew him, but certainly, the relationship wasn't a narrow one.
The angel, on the other hand, seemed not as perturbed by it all. She sent a wayward glance at the Hand's back before turning towards the city gate.
"Let's go. Ah, yes. Lady Eliseline, you mentioned sending a letter to the Duke before leaving."
Eliseline involuntarily gulped, worried that Savine was speaking of such things before two guards, but thinking a bit, there was no way the guards would know the content of the letter. It wasn't like they could ask her what she was writing and it wasn't like they could stop the registrar that she would send in front of the two of them.
Hence, she pulled out a piece of paper and started writing. She was used to working on the way, so writing while walking was a skill she was forced to learn.
Anyhow, the letter wasn't long. Only the matter of Fest being suspected faintly and the changed dates needed to be mentioned.
