Who’s the monster here?

"He's dead now, are you satisfied ?" Duan turned cleaned the blood from his butcher knife and asked Malvorrak . His full attention seemed to have been diverted from what he originally came here to do.

He had found a beast that was worthy of being his mount, that was the best thing that could happen in this god forsaken region. The lives of the lizardmen from Yolan village was secondary.

"Disgusting, What makes you think that I will submit to a filthy human?!!" Malvorrak couldn't help but feel annoyed this time, who did this person think he was? Not only had he humiliated him by insinuating that he would be his mount, he went ahead to kill his original mount as if saying Malvorrak was jealous.

Did he think him as a self loathing beast that wanted to submit to a human but needed assurance? What an insult!! Malvorrak couldn't take such laying down.

"Ah? You can speak? Even better!!" Completely ignoring Malvorraks previous words of disgust, Duan exclaimed in excitement.

He had never ridden on an intelligent beast before, this would be his first. Finding Malvorrak was really a miracle, He was truly lucky.

"You…."

Malvorraks claws dung into the ground instinctively as he looked up saw this Duan causally dismiss his words. This was just too much, did he really think that Malvorrak would not be able to do anything to him?

What kind of arrogance was this?

"You want to ride me? Fine!! Come then I'll give you the ride of your life!!" Malvorrak roared before breaking into a furious sprint. Amongst monsters, the lowest of the low were tamed beasts, it was one thing to be stupid and wild, but to be at the beck and call of a human? That was beyond degrading!!

He was going to rip Duan limb from limb for insinuating such rubbish before him.

"Okay let's go!!"

As soon as Malvorrak broke into a made sprint, Cious waved a wooden staff adorned with inscriptions in the air prompting him and the four goblins to fly into the air and follow right behind Malvorrak.

They weren't the only ones though, right behind them, Qarc lifted up his sword and ordered the lizardman guard to follow behind closely.

"You guys handle the others, I want to focus fully on tamimg my new beast" Duan causally said to Vincent who was beside him before turning back to Malvorrak who was sprinting across the shallow river.

He didn't really care how they handled it, what really mattered was Malvorrak, he was not only the strongest monster here, he was to be his new steed also.

"Sure why not?" Vincent spoke rather causally with his eyes locked on Cious and the four goblins who were flying right behind Malvorrak.

Duan was always like this, deadly efficient at whatever he sets his sights on. Yes, but he decided on what he sets his eyes on.

"Good, get it done" Duan replied then turned to the fast approaching Malvorrak with a wild crazy smile on his face. Clenching fist tight, he too began running forward without a hint of hesitation.

Malvorrak was a big savage monster standing around 10ft tall, with hard scales and sharp claws that could cut through steel, but Duan wasn't any lesss monsterous.

He was 7.5ft tall, and dispite his lean build, he was inhumanely strong and resilient, having wrestled with creatures twice his size. And to top it off, he was a level 5 warrior.

A being like him, was definitely capable of going against Malvorrak.

In a split second, Malvorraks mighty body collided with Duan as he attempted to claw him down like a piece of meat.

Unfortunately, dispite his body size and strength, Duan was able to push against Malvorrak ending the charge abruptly as a test of strength ensued.

The scene was heart shaking to say the least, Malvorrak, as mighty as he was, couldn't not physically overwhelm this puny human?

When did such unbelievable things start happening in this world? This was insane!!.

"Haha, I will teach you lesson, then you'll submit" Duan mocked Malvorrak, then he positioned his leg firmly in the ground and—

Like he was nothing, he threw Malvorrak into the side of a giant rock on the side of the mountain.

Malvorraks felt his back shatter several layers of rock beneath him as he cashed into the Rocky formation. This feeling of complete weightlessness, he was far to family with it, it was a clear reminder of his weakness.

Like a flash, Duan appeared infront of Malvorrak pulled his hand back as he began punching him relentlessly.

"You will submit to me"

"Whether you like it or not"

"Or else you will die"

Duan was extremely ruthless to himself, tankless of others. If he didn't have it in mind to make Malvorrak his steed, he would have killing him immediately.

This was the power of a level 5 warrior.

He was much more of a monster than even Malvorrak himself.

"Revered one, should we go help?" One of the goblins asked seeing Malvorrak being tossed around like a rag doll.

Malvorrak was always so domineering, to see him being tossed around like this was very strange and uncomfortable to them.

"Don't be worried about him, we have our own problems" Cious barked swaying to the side and forcing the goblins to follow suit as a sword slash made of mana came flying at them from below.

They were currently fighting the level 4 warrior, Vincent. This guy was way stronger than Zysera and was insanely nimble. Even from this altitude, he was a massive threat to them.

The savage human clans were definitely no pushovers in the underground of Yi mountain. This was seriously troublesome.

(Besides, he can take care of himself…)

Cious thought in his mind before breifly glancing at Malvorrak. The big guy had not even used his evolutionary skills yet, his fight with Duan was only just beginning.
