8 - Alvida Pirates

William stayed true to his thoughts and started stealing money from various merchants ships which he deemed shady and came to Goa Kingdom to do business.

As he continued to train , it became easier to sneak inside the ship and knock out the crew which remained on the ship. Actually they were too weak for him instead.

William's base of operations was only Goa Kingdom yet so naturally it would become a commotion as he continued to steal from the ships which visited it.

So now the security became very tight and even Marine Lieutenant was sent by the nearby Marine base. Still William was not affected much because he had ninja skills which were unique to this world so it posed no problem to him from sneaking inside his target ship or building.

After all he could stick on ceiling , walk on walls and trees easily which was not something others could do even if they wanted to.

All in all, this were going well and four months had passed since William crossed over into this world. The pace of gathering money was rather slow as most ships did not have much cash stored instead they had jewelry or other goods which they sold. William encountered many slaves on the ships he targeted and freed them each time. He was still not used to this cruel act of slavery though.

Right now Wiliam was sailing on the sea on a merchant ship. He had got a job as a guard on this ship ten days ago. There merchant who owned this ship was called Jagger Fost. He was a good guy and his main business was silk and clothing.

William had many reasons to why he boarded this ship. First he wanted to increase his combat experience and sword skill by fighting the pirates who targeted the ship on sea and thieves and bandits who targeted the goods on islands.

The main reason though was that William needed to go to a specific island which was quite far from Dawn Island on which Foosha Village was located on.

The name of the island he wanted to visit was Stone Island. The island was famous for various mines from which colorful and durable stones could be found and were used to make accessories. Naturaly William could care less about the stones. His motive was to visit the Black Market which had a large base on the island.

William had jewelry, silver bricks etc worth considerable amount of money inside his inventory. So he wanted to concert them into berri ( cash ) as soon as possible. He was sure that after selling everything at the black market , he would have more than enough money to purchase Uchiha bloodline from shop. After all he had stole from more than twenty ships and they had good amount of gold and silver instead of cash which they took with them inside the city.

Right now William was standing on the ship's deck just wearing his pants. His naked upper body was filled with sweat as he continued to practice basic Kendo swing with a normal quality iron sword in his hands.

On the ship , he could not afford to loose much stamina so instead of training his body to the limit , Wiliam just practiced his basic swing to increase the experience of Primary swordsmanship skill which should reach maximum value in a month or two. In battles, he used swordsmanship all the time so the rate of gaining experience became much faster during battles than normal practice.

Suddenly William frowned and stopped practicing as he heard familiar voice calling for him.

" William san!! "

William recognized this voice as it belonged to Jagger Fost who was the owner of this ship . Soon William turned around and saw the fat 180 cm tall merchant running towards him with an anxious face.

William sheathed his sword and unhurriedlly started wearing his white T shirt as he knew that Jagger would only come for him when they had spotted pirates in the distance. William was not afraid of any pirate in East Blue now because he was quite strong now after training and pushing his limits daily. Besides he had learned many jutsu which increased his arsenal greatly.

Jagger finally stopped when he was just a meter away from William and started panting. 'Seriously this fat man should exercise ! ' was William's thought but he only maintained stoic expression outwardly.

" What's the matter Jagger san? Pirates again? " asked William in an indifferent tone.

" Yes Yes! I can only count on you William san! This time the pirate group is really famous and strong one. My men cannot defeat them without your help.. " Jagger spoke in a pleasing tone which told William that the other party was really afraid.

William was not afraid thought because even Arlong came , Willian had the confidence to at least hold him off for few minutes. William had no idea about the real strength of the Fishman as he had not fought him yet but he at least knew that his physique should still very weak compared to Arlong.

William shook his head as Arlong wont come here as they were quite far from the islands where Arlong had his base. So he wont be coming to this part of the sea.

Still he was intrigued as the pirate group should have quite a bounty otherwise Jagger wont be this afraid.

" Dont worry Jagger san. I will take care of them." William patted his shoulder and reassured the fat guy. " Who are these pirates anyway? You should have recognized their flag.."

Jagger calmed down a little but his forehead was still sweating. He could not help but feel afraid because he had heard the reputation of this infamous pirate group led by the strong woman.

"Its the Alvida Pirates. You should have heard about them too William san. After all their captain Alvida is famous among bounty hunters like yourself for her 5 million bounty!"

William's eyes widened in surprise for a second. After all he did not expect to meet Alvida this soon. He did not even know that she was already this famous and had high bounty.

William saw that Jagger was still looking at him so he decided to think later. Right now he had to confront Alvida as it was his job. He would think later whether to spare her or not.

" You should order your men to get away from them Jagger san. Your merchant ship doesn't have artillery compared to the opponent. How far is the pirate ship though? "

" Uh.. they should be still quite a distance away. My boys were lucky to spot their pirate ship quickly.. "

William nodded and started walking towards the are where a small boat was stored.

" I will be borrowing the small boat. "

Jagger's expression changed as he could not help but think that William was planning to escape alone. William as if knew what the fat man was thinking said in a domineering tone " I will confront them alone. Jagger san, you should get away as much as you can in the meantime. After all it would be bad if this ship was hit by their cannons and the goods were damaged.. "

Wiliam did not care about Jagger's response and lowered the small bost into the sea and jumped on it. He could see the pink sail of the pirate ship in the distance now and started rowing the boat in its direction.

Jagger could only watch with his jaw dropped as he did not expect that William would be so confident in his strength and even went to confront the whole pirate crew alone...
