Last Trial

Walking out of the library tower, Liang Feng felt enlightened by all of the knowledge he gained. Being able to comprehend 2 arts was amazing to him, and would prove useful in the future. Looking forward, he could see a small building and a vast open field in front of him. There was also a forest in the background, and a lake right next to the building.

'This must be the last trial.' Liang Feng thought as he walked forward with the other 78 students that passed the comprehension trail.

Everyone stood in the open field, waiting for someone to appear in front of them. Some people were making small talk with each other, while others were smiling at them as they passed the comprehension trial.

Liang Feng remained silent, and listened in on their conversations.

As the time passed, Liang Feng started to daydream, but was interrupted by a loud bang in the middle of the field, causing dust and dirt to fly up in the air.

As the wind blew away the dust in the air, a man who stood seven feet tall appeared in the field. He was like a beast in human form, with large muscles and a bald head. He was shirtless, showing off his bulging muscles on his arms. His legs were very thick and bulky, and were covered in shorts.

His face was sharp and stern, and his eyes were intimidating to everyone present. His teeth were pure white, and it gave a creepy smile as he looked at everyone.

"I am Gu Xuan. There is only one task in this trial, and that is: Survive my punch!" Gu Xuan said, his voice gruff and terrifying.

Everyone was surprised at Gu Xuan's statement. They all had looks of confusion and shock. How could they, a mere Qi Refinement Stage, survive under his punch?

"Hahaha." Gu Xuan started to laugh out loud as he saw everyone's expressions. 

"Don't look at me like that! This is not an impossible trial, it is extremely easy. Just take my punch!" He said, raising his arms in the air.

'Take his punch?' Liang Feng thought, looking at Gu Xuan. 

'The sheer amount of strength required to even block his punch would be absurd! The force of that punch could probably go through multiple houses!' He exclaimed.

"Now then, everyone please line up in a single line. You will go one by one." Gu Xuan said, his demeanor changing completely as he got ready.

Everyone looked at each other in fear and anxiety. This was an impossible task! To take on Gu Xuan's punch?! Even the teachers here would have a hard time taking on this man!

Seeing no other way around it, everyone lined up and waited for their turn. Some were visibly shaking and had fear on their faces, while others had a cool face and kept their composure. Liang Feng was one of those people. He was staring blankly into space as he thought of solutions on how to take the punch.

After lining up, Liang Feng was on the very right, while Gu Xuan started on the very left. One by one, he walked down the line and punched their shoulder. Each punch caused blood to spurt out of their shoulders and flew away from the sheer impact of his punch.

Gu Xuan was going so fast that many of the students who were lined up had no reaction to the punch, but Liang Feng noticed that he didn't use that much strength. It seemed that he held back a bit, so it didn't cripple people.

"Next!" Gu Xuan shouted as he punched the last person on the left side. The students had already gone on the other side as well, leaving the right side with only a few students left.

As the other students were defeated by Gu Xuan's punch, the number of students in front of Liang Feng decreased. Now, there were only 10 people in front of him. The students had already flown across the field due to his punch.

"Next!" Gu Xuan shouted even louder, cracking his neck a little bit.

"Next!" He shouted again, throwing another devastating punch.

"Next!"

"Next!"

"Next!"

Each shout was making Liang Feng flinch as he got closer to being punched. It seemed that Gu Xuan was really enjoying himself, as a creepy smile formed on his face.

'What should I do?' Liang Feng questioned as he watched everyone fall to Gu Xuan's punch.

[Don't worry, as a robot, you won't feel pain, and even if your arms are broken, use the materials you've collected over the years to repair your own body.] Lori's voice came out and reassured Liang Feng.

'Are you sure?' Liang Feng asked, wanting to make sure.

Lori didn't respond. Seeing that he was almost next, Liang Feng decided to go on with the plan, and wait till it's his turn.

"Next!" Gu Xuan finally shouted, and it was Liang Feng's turn.

As Liang Feng stepped up, Gu Xuan's sinister smile appeared on his face once again. Raising his arm, he started to inhale a huge breath of air into his lungs, making his muscles grow even bigger.

'Holy crap!' Liang Feng exclaimed as he saw Gu Xuan's muscles grow a size bigger.

BANG!

An earth shattering sound occurred as Gu Xuan's fist collided with Liang Feng's shoulder, causing a loud echo throughout the whole academy.

The sheer impact of his punch was so strong, that it created a dust storm from the wind and dirt that was flying everywhere.

As the dust started to settle down, a small silhouette of a boy could be seen in the middle of the field. His body was planted on the ground and had a small indentation of his figure on the ground.

Gu Xuan had a dumbstruck face as he saw Liang Feng was still standing after his punch. Seeing a hole on Liang Feng's shoulder, Gu Xuan turned confused. 'Why is he not flying across the field?' He thought as he looked at Liang Feng in suspicion.

Liang Feng himself was shocked that he was still standing after taking Gu Xuan's punch. If his flesh was normal, his shoulder would've been reduced to pieces of flesh and blood, but he no longer had that problem.

Seeing Gu Xuan's surprised face, Liang Feng immediately regained his composure. He had a smile on his face and turned towards Gu Xuan.

"Excellent. You've passed with full marks." Gu Xuan finally said after he had gathered his thoughts. He had never encountered anyone to survive his punch like this.

"How is your shoulder?" He asked Liang Feng.

"Oh, my shoulder? It's fine." Liang Feng responded, raising his broken left arm. It was bent backwards, and no bones could be seen protruding from the skin.
