Liang Feng, the young master of the House of Liang, died after his uncle deemed him unworthy of the title of young master. But due to some mysterious powers, he was reborn into a puppet that he made, but was upgraded to an high tech robot. With his new powers and insane cultivation speed, Liang Feng vows to take down the House of Liang and the helpers behind them. Thus, his journey starts at the Demon Sect, one of the most powerful sect in the continent. What will happen when Cultivators meet an almighty machine?
Liang Feng and the others continued to walk forwards, until they reached a large tower that was at least 100 meters tall. It had many bookshelves and books within it. It also had that old school smell to it with dust scattered around the books.
'Is this the place where they will test our comprehension?' Liang Feng questioned, seeing no other option. The tall walls are quite intimidating, but Liang Feng was more in awe about the knowledge this one place possessed.
As expected, a man that was over 6ft tall, with red hair and blue eyes stood in front of them. He wore a red robe that fit his figure perfectly, and looked like it was tailor made for him. The books in the tower seemed to be trembling under his presence.
"Good afternoon students, my name is Li Chi. I will be the one tester for your comprehension test." He said, his eyes were full of wisdom, but looked at everyone with an indifferent look.
While everyone was waiting for his next move, the books in the tower trembled as they fumbled out of the bookshelves and started to fly around the area. The wind in the area increased in speed, blowing through everyone's clothes.
"Every book here has its own wisdom. It will pick its inheritor that it deems worthy. You must comprehend a small portion of the book. If you don't get a book, your intelligence is seen as not worthy and you fail." Saying that, many books came flying around everyone.
Liang Feng calmly looked around, waiting for a book to pick him. As expected, a whooshing noise sounded behind him and appeared in front of his face. Grabbing it, he examined it for a bit. The cover was pure white and was covered in intricate designs of geometric shapes, and the title read: Mysterious Shape Art.
'This seems good.' Liang Feng thought, opening the book and flipping through the pages. He was amazed at the complexity of the art, but for him who now became a robot, her could instantly understand and memorize the art.
'It's extremely good, but it only allows you to manipulate shapes and sizes. It doesn't seem too good.' Liang Feng thought. He does enjoy studying and reading books, but this was not worth it as there's no other use.
[Don't be too sure on that.] Lori suddenly spoke.
'What do you mean?' Liang Feng asked, closing the book and looking around. Many people were holding onto a book. A few didn't have one, and their faces were full of grief and sadness.
[Although the book is simple, for puppeteers, this book is simply godly. Being able to change shapes of your robots and the size of certain weapons will allow you to get out of more situations and defeat enemies easier.] Lori explained
Liang Feng realized the usage of this book, and understood its uses. If he can change the size of his puppets or even add extra limbs to them on the fly, the usefulness will be drastically increased.
"That's enough! If you've already comprehended the book, please put it back." Li Chi said, his voice filled with authority as he looked at Liang Feng in apparition.
'This guy is obviously the head teacher, or something similar to that.' Liang Feng thought. Closing his eyes, he placed the book back into the bookshelf.
"You're very lucky to have comprehended this book. You can continue on if you wish." Li Chi said, facing towards Liang Feng.
"Continue on?" Liang Feng questioned, surprised by Li Chi's words.
"Yes. You can stay here and take the comprehensive trail again, or wait for the third trail."
Liang Feng understood what Li Chi was talking about. He had finished the comprehensive trail already, as the book was nothing complex to him. Although it is a very useful art, the requirements for the comprehension trail were way too low for his standards.
"Thank you sir, I will continue on." Liang Feng decided, walking away.
Li Chi smiled a little bit as he saw Liang Feng leave. For him to have comprehended such an art was simply astonishing. With a high intelligence, it is possible to comprehend such an art, but for him to be so young is unreal.
Liang Feng walked back to his position, and waited for another book to come to him. Standing there for five more minutes, another book appeared in front of him.
This book had a cover that was made of pure black leather, and was very smooth to touch. Opening the book, it revealed many diagrams of human bodies and Qi pathways to your chest. There was also a diagram of how you can modify and change the pathways, but doing so can ruin your cultivation.
'Another weird one, but at least I know the usefulness of this one.' Liang Feng thought, before placing it back.
This knowledge would allow him to build robots that can use Qi and even experiment on them to see the most optimal pathway for Qi is. Although people have already figured out what is the best pathway for Qi, it's hard to install that pathway into a body that is not made for that.
"Excellent." Li Chi exclaimed as Liang Feng placed the book back.
This time, Liang Feng didn't grab another book, and simply waited for the trial to end. Although he could go for a third, it would be too eye catchy. He can show top level talent, but if the Liang family deems him as a threat early on…
"Those that haven't comprehended a book, you have failed. Leave and never come back here." Li Chi said, his face not even shifting a muscle.
13 students left after that. 45 students turned into mindless slaves as they couldn't comprehend the knowledge in front of them.
"The last trial awaits. Please head to your left and enter the courtyard." Li Chi said, vanishing from their eyes.
Suddenly, a loud bang could be heard to their left, and a door opening to an open area was shown in front of their eyes.
