I Became a Necromancer Cat

In a medieval world of powerful warriors and wizards, there was a class that was banned as a taboo. While the others needed to train themselves physically, or mentally, there was a class that was only strengthened by death and destruction. Because they were so dangerous, practitioners who used this class were hunted and killed by all magicians and warriors across the continent. But there was one individual who, despite the joint effort of the most powerful magicians of the magic council, managed to survive and continue to practice his own magic to strengthen himself, causing more chaos and destruction across the continent. This individual was known as the most powerful Necromancer the world has ever seen, but because of a terrible conspiracy, he died with great resentment, reincarnating in the body of a small black cat in a country he never heard of in the 21st century. With the knowledge and experience he had to become the most powerful Necromancer in the world, had he managed to get back to the top again now in the body of a cat?

21- GNAAR GADA!

So Ataz sat next to Ana so she could explain to him how things worked in the game.

Upon accepting the match, everything on the screen changed. Apparently there someone could choose the champion they would like to play and also ban champions who they did not want the other team to have.

"We got to know which lane is each one, can you see? I am on top, that means my main route is all along here," Ana said while following the path, pointing with her finger. "We have the mid, which is here in the middle, the bot, which is where Adc and the support are, and we also have Jungle. It serves to make the objectives of the game like the Dragon..."

"Uuh, a dragon?" Ataz was impressed.

"... or the Baron. He's kind of responsible for running the match, understand?" she added, smiling at the cat.

"No, but let's play," the cat thought quickly.

Ana then banned one of the champions. Irelia was her name, and she didn't look that strong. In her picture, only Irelia appeared making some scraps of cloth float. Ataz looked confusedly at Ana, who said to him, "In the game, we have things like counterattack - who are the champions who are very strong against us because of some ability that can prevent one of our attacks, as we are also stronger against some champions."

So she chose the small, orange champion, Gnar. When choosing, the champion made some strange grunts, "GNAAR GADA!" causing Ataz to question his own sanity because somehow that creature was considered a very good champion in this game.

All champions were selected and then the entire computer screen changed. Everything was on a green background with all the champions of the two teams on display. Ana got up from the chair and said to the cat, "The game is going to start. I'm just going to get some water while the game loads." The girl then walked out of the room, leaving the cat alone with the computer, watching the scene.

Ataz then started looking at the champions. Nobody in that match apparently caught his eye; they all seemed weak.

A bar under the characters indicated 96% in less than 1 minute. Ataz didn't even imagine what it could be until the bar reached 100% and then the match started, however, Ana hadn't arrived yet. Ataz saw all the champions being born in a corner of the map and already starting to move, and Ana's champion didn't give a sign of life.

The cat started to despair, thinking about what he could do. The other players left the place and started to go to the positions assigned to them, but Gnar remained standing at the base, as if there was no master giving him orders. Some signs were appearing where Gnar was with warning noises, as if something was wrong.

"Eae Gnar? Are you going to play?" appeared in the chat.

The timer hadn't even given 2 minutes to start yet and Ataz was already concerned that Ana would lose the game. Even if it was worthless for him, he knew it was important, because as she said, this was ranked and, apparently, ranked matches were worth something. Ataz just didn't know what they were worth, but they were worth something.

Desperate due to Ana having not returned, Ataz moved to the chair where Ana was sitting and positioned his small right paw on the mouse and the left on the keyboard. He tried to move, but it was very difficult for his small arms to reach the keyboard and the mouse at the same time. Ataz tried to move the finger of his right paw, wanting to make the champion move, but he had no great control using a single digit; he managed to make only his small hand close.

He then decided to place the entire paw on top of the right mouse button, which made the champion move. The other keys, as his hand was small, he was able to precisely press any key he wanted, however, moving his hand from one skill to another was extremely complicated because the space was too big for his small hands.

The cat then started to move the mouse up, trying to click to the side. Gnar left the base, however, he looked like he was dancing. Ataz couldn't move the mouse correctly. He always slid somewhere and clicking for him was very difficult without him recklessly pushing the mouse in the other direction.

WaterTankHead [Nunu & Willump]: "Mano, is Gnar retarded?"

DarkSamurai67 [Yasuo]: "What are you doing? Go to the lane, kid"

"The troops will be released in 30 seconds ," a voice emerged from the game as a message appeared on the screen.

"What a fucking gam-", before Ataz could finish his thought.

"It was bad, I spilled some wa- What are you doing?" Ana appeared at the door and before completing the sentence, she saw little Ataz sitting in her chair with his paws on the keyboard, trying to play. She looked at him, startled that the cat had understood her.

"Did you really try to play? How bizarre, you even managed to move it down the lane..." Ana added while holding the mouse to go back towards the place where Gnar had spawned.

Ataz was confused by her surprise because he had been unable to do anything in the game, but he was minimally proud to learn fast even though he was a cat and tens of thousands apart from the time he had lived his whole life.

She looked deep into the cat's eyes, realizing that that look was more frightening than it should have been, and said quietly as she stared at him "Can you really understand me?"

Ataz continued to stare at her without saying a word, a little scared that he might have revealed his biggest secret.

The other players again started to signal for Ana to return to the game, causing her to turn her face towards the screen and take away her focus from the cat, who sighed in relief inside his small body.

Ana sat on the chair and started playing. Ataz, wanting to learn more, moved a little behind the keyboard so that he could see which key Ana would press and what appeared on the screen.

She then pressed 'P' and a tab inside the game opened. There were several drawings of some strange items. On the screen were all sorts of books, staffs, and swords. Apparently this was a store. Ana then bought what appeared to be a sharp sword with a deep reddish purple hue. She also bought two small bottles containing something red inside and an object resembling a shiny yellow trophy.

Ana pressed a button at the top left of her keyboard and moved Gnar to her lane. The map was big; one couldn't see everything it had on just a single screen. Ataz still didn't feel like he was in a battle, but it was fun for him to be reminded at least a little of the walks he took in the forest, and to see all those weeds and plants with some buildings around them was something, besides just houses and trades through the cities of that time.

Ana was already under a huge statue when some small attackers started to appear on the screen. Those from above were red and those below were blue, but only the reds attacked Ana, while the blue ones beat other attackers and the enemy champion who was against Ana.

Nothing much was happening yet in the game. Ana only attacked a couple of the little enemy attackers and killed them instantly. This was the same thing that the other enemy champion did, but Ana always threatened that she would go after the enemy. She kept throwing the boomerang towards the enemy, trying to do at least a little damage to it, so that it would be easier to destroy it later.

Ataz had never done anything like this. He always tried to destroy enemies with the strongest magic he had when it was convenient. He never hit the enemy little by little, while hiding afterwards.

The game was so slow that Ataz snuggled up on the table and had almost closed his eyes to take a nap, until Ana commanded Gnar to jump on top of the enemy champion who managed to stop her with a strange skill, spinning and, suddenly, a huge slug emerged from beyond and jumped on Ana, causing her to lose a lot of health.
