As the trio entered a new town, Jiraya immediately went 'search for clues' but Naruto knew that he was probably going to do something perverted, so he took Ikki and went explore the village.

"We have a lot of time until someone discovers that old pervert, so when he is being chased around by a mob of angry women, we will go out to find him.

For now... we have a lot of time, si what do you wanna do?"

Ikki thought for a second before answering

"Lets go shopping, and then eat something..."

"So like a date?" Teasingly asked Naruto, a habit he got from Ayame

Ikki blushes slightly but doesn't say anything.

"Well then, lets go" Naruto grabs Ikki's hand and starts tl walk around the village

(I noticed that i didn't describe Ikki's apparence before, no one commented anything about it so i will describe her in this chapter)

Naruto walked around, store by store with Ikki until she found something she likes, and surprisingly... she did not.

Ikki was wearing a purple t-shirt, and some tight Anbu-like black pants, her right leg had some cloth tied around it, she cut her hair after she moved to konoha, so now her whitish-blond hair only got to her shoulders, her black eyes shone like gems.

"Well then... let's go eat something, do you have any preference on food?" Naruto asked as he tried to hide his annoyance about how people were looking at them.

[You should get used to it, Kit]

'You only say that because you are not feeling their envy on your stupid fox face!'

Sometimes, Naruto hates his ability to feel emotions, be it his looks or the cute girl by his side, jealousy is almost palpable on the air...

Even then, no one approached them, Be it Naruto's aura or Ikki's cold eyes, they found it scary.

Naruto actually found Ikki's eyes cute, as she was doing her best to look like Zabuza right now...

After they ate, they were walking around the village until they found a Uncouncious and beaten up Jiraya

"See? i told you"

Naruto said with a look of disapproval aimed at Jiraya

'He got caught AGAIN! this guy is a shame to every man out there'

[So you are not annoyed by his act, but because he fot caught?]

'Of course!'

While Naruto was talking with Kurama, Ikki had her eyes glued to Jiraya and a menacing air around her

'If he tries to make Naruto to be like him...'

Feeling death approaching, Jiraya woke up and startes looking around in fear.

"Old perv, lets get going, i see that your... 'search' didn't yield any results, right?"

"...uh... no?" Jiraya said

"Let's get going then" As Naruto said this, he grabbed Ikki's hand and went away, Jiraya soon followed

"Aha! now i know why she is going with us! She is your girlfriend isn't she?" Jiraya said teasingly, He and Naruto were searching everywhere for a reason to pester the other one.

Ikki blushed at Jiraya's words, but Naruto grinned and cheekily replied

"Jealous? I'm sure you are Old-SINGLE-Perv"

"GOD DAMNIT BRAT!" Jiraya, completely defeated storms away, While Ikki just stand there, frozen

'Does he really mean it?' She looks at Naruto uncertain

Feeling her emotions and guessing her doubts, Naruto only held her hand, and with a warm smile said

"Take your time"

Hearing his words, Ikki's doubts shatter instantly

'He already told Haku that he will wait for my decision... what am i so scared of?'

With newfound resolution, Ikki decides to act on her feelings.

"It's already getting late, we should go find that old man and rent a inn..." Noticing the sun setting behind them, Naruto said.

"Na-Naruto..." Ikki stuttering calls

"Uhn? what is it Ikki?" Naruto asks as he turns back to her

"D-Do y-you l-li-like m-me?" Ikki stutters so much you could confuse her and old Hinata

"Of course!" Naruto's immediate answer stuns Ikki a bit, but she quickly recovers and smile brightly

"I love you Naruto" Ikki says while she stands on tiptoe, she is slightly shorter than Naruto afterall.

"Me too" Answers Naruto as he moves his head down.

Jiraya who was watching this from afar smiles, takes his camera and takes a photo, the image that he got is really beautiful afterall

The next day

As the trio is leaving the village, Ikki is clinging to Naruto's arm, So Jiraya smirks as he asks

"Something good happened?"

"Not much, but i want the photo later, or i will make 1000 clones to spread rumours about you, ok?" Naruto answer and Jiraya felt chills behind his back, he doesn't want to even ask what rumours Naruto would spread...

"Here..." Jiraya had a copy of the photo, he would have used it to tease them if they denied what happened, but it seems he underestimated Naruto a little too much...

[Haha, look at his face Kit, you made him so scared]

'No one told him to spy on me, that's what he gets'

Naruto stores the photo on the seal on his hand, were he only stores important things, And the trio resume their search

At konoha

Sasuke is in front of Kakashi, or what's presumably Kakashi as he is in a really bad condition, while not as grave as cannon, he is still deeply affected by Menma's Tsukuyomi copy...

Suddenly a stupid ninja barged into the room

"Is it true that Kakashi and Guy encountered Menma and Itachi?"

Every ninja on the room facepalms at the same time as Sasuke's expression changes

"ITACHI?" His 3 braincells work at overclock speeds, to process the information

'Itachi was here? i need to find him and kill him!'

After thinking that he storms out of the room as everyone looks at the culprit with stern gazes

"Uhhh... sorry?"

"Sigh~ we need to do something about that..." Asuma said

"just let him be, Itachi already went away, so he will not find anyone..." One random dude said

"I guess..." Asuma replied as he walks back to were Kurenai was.

As Sasuke ran past Ichiraku's, Teuchi looked at him and thought

'It's that time already? how time fly... How will you affect this event, Naruto?'

"What are you thinking about father?" Ayame asks at his side, bringing him back from his thoughts

"I am thinking about what i should make when Naruto comes back..." Teuchi replies

"Oh! Let me help then..."

'This peaceful times could last longer...'

Back with the trio

Naruto and Ikki were walking behind Jiraya into a building, a restaurant of some sorts, they failed to find Tsunade again, so they decided to eat something before continuing their search.

"Jiraya?!" Tsunade who is sitting at a corner with two other people and a little pig, exclaimed

"Tsunade?!" Jiraya also exclaimed

'Oh the irony...'

[That was so cliche...]

'Well what did you expect anyway?'

[I don't know... i just didn't expect... that]
