But the reality said otherwise.

The aura of Fear that Ji-woo spread was so disturbing that it made them confused and difficult to channel their Mana into magic. Yet, they could still use it, even though it was difficult. And that was a natural thing.

What those Apex-ranked hunters felt differed from those of hunters at the lower ranks when they were hit by that aura.

As the lower-ranked hunters were enveloped in the Aura of Fear, the chaos Mana within their bodies generated a feeling of despair and heightened their fear.

Meanwhile, the Apex-ranked hunters who were actually more sensitive to Mana were only slightly affected by fear. Moreover, they understood why the Mana in their bodies got messed up. So, what those lower-ranked hunters felt didn't apply to them.
