-Land of the rivers-
-Camp Stark-
Hariric was reading his brother's report and smiled. His brother had demonstrated his martial ability by being able to completely overcome his enemies. That would be enough in case. But his brother had shown that he was as much a Stark as anyone else by having brought the enemies to their knees and destroying them before the eyes of all the Twins.
You see, the Frey had asked for one thing in exchange for helping by allowing the Lannister troops and the allies of the river lands to pass. They wanted Ashara Dayne as their own wife. Rhaegar himself had sent a letter granting them such a thing by stating that once the war was over Ashara would marry Lord Frey. He didn't have to be a genius to know what would happen to his children. So that's where the desire to put the Freys in their place came from. Ruthless, yes. Brutal too. But for hariric things were simple.
The fact that Hoster Tully was also unable to control his kingdom letting them move as he wanted also enraged him. Hoster wanted to marry his eldest daughter to her brother Ned. Although some would see that as a good match, he denied because it would tie the North to what was the house of the south, meaning in a few words that he supported Hoster of all times. He was against that single idea for the simple fact that he thought Hoster was an arrogant imbecile who thought that just for being a gentleman he deserved to be respected and demanded to be treated in such a way by all means. The truth is that all this would not have been possible if it were not for his maid.
She wanted everyone they had against the Stark house and apparently she had taken a mania especially for Hoster Tully and Jon Arryn. In fact, she had been the one who allowed to obtain the letters with the signature and seal not only of Tywin Lannister but of Jon Arryn. He had only shown a copy of the letters to his brother but the truth is that he knew that if those two letters saw the light the two gentlemen would be frowned upon since they would be seen as plotting to get the Targyen house out of their place.
Jon Arryn, although he had planned to attack him from behind, it was only a strategy to win the sympathy of the lord of the dragons and in this way move his tray forward hoping to gain a position of respect and power in that case. If the conflict avoided, Jon and Tywin had agreed to support and support Robert Baratheon's ascension to the throne by adding certain things. He knew of Robert's obsession with his sister, so he deduced that she would be killed so that Robert would marry Cersei Lannister.
That is why he had specially sent orders to the wolves of war in the valley. His orders were not only to hinder the advance of the army of what was the valley. But they also had orders to do the maximum possible damage to the valley. Harm as many gentlemen as possible. Make them suffer and bleed. From Hariric's point of view this was a small revenge. But with Tywin Lannister he had it better. After all, he had his brother. He wondered what could he really ask for him?
He opened another of the reports and his smile became even more vengeful. The eastern fleet commanded by Lord Manderly had successfully attacked the royal fleet while it was still anchored and had completely destroyed it before launching an attack on the seagull harbour with their firearms and had possibly reduced the port city to ashes. More than brutal if he himself had to say it and he felt more than satisfied by it knowing that it would be fucking Lord Arryn in a big way.
The Dominion fleet was not well either. Although the fleet was massive with all their ships they had unfortunately found themselves overcome with the weapons of their ships that could not only destroy ships with a single shot but also by the distance. It goes without saying that the ships of the domain's fleet had been mercilessly razed by the northern ships that had been parked at Cape Kraken, which had a military port stationed there.
Hariric felt good. With its two flanks covered that meant that the southern threat was completely treated. As if that wasn't enough, there was also the fact that the threat of an invasion had been completely eliminated, which from Lord Stark's point of view was excellent news. He had sent a message informing that the fleet would withdraw but that the patrols would continue since he did not trust the slightest threat of the pirates born of iron.
While meditating, Hedwig appeared at that moment with a letter that she had left two of her relatives with his wife. Hedwig would let his wife know what was going on. And between Nyx who was his cat and his Ophis he was sure that his wife was not at all in danger since only an idiot would try to attack with the two animals empowered by their magic. Looking at his faithful companion, he removed the letter that was in his claws before observing carefully and having a frown on his face. The war would have to end quickly from what he could see since apparently a group of killers had tried to reach his wife.
With that he sent for a soldier who was at the entrance of the store. The soldier showing his clear professionalism greeted his master. He didn't feel upset and in fat all, he was one of his men. His elite guards were all in training when he passed him a call paper. He wanted to talk to his representative of the wolves of the War just as he wanted to talk to his officers. It was time to put a definitive end to this war.
The leader of the division of the war wolves arrived quickly and knelt before him. The level of devotion and respect that the wolves of war had was almost fanatical if he had to say it. Many thought that he was a chosen one of the ancient gods brought to take revenge for the damage caused courtesy of the other kingdoms. Truth be told, Hariric didn't care if they were fanatics as long as they were loyal anyway.
''Captain How much would it cost to sneak a team into King´s landing to get the royal family out? Your men are the best prepared for this task and there is no one I would trust more to do a difficult task like this than you do yourself.'' Hariric could see the captain stand firm. The idea that his lord had confidence in him was good enough. Hariric felt that these people deserved a worthy respect because of the monstrous levels of training to which they themselves underwent.
"As is the indication, I always have a team in each of the lands, either to observe the movements of troops or to observe anything that can be declared as something unusual, my lord. Mobilising a team is not impossible. If what you want above all is to sneak it will be done but why save the lives of those who have naturally dedicated themselves to complicating yours?''. Although it was strange, Hariric encouraged his men to ask questions.
"I understand the anger towards neither more nor less than the prince. That vile monster who wants to sit on the iron throne is neither more nor less than responsible for this and believe me when I say that I agree that all that has to be done is to break it into pieces. But you know what I think. In the North the family is not responsible for the sins of relatives''. It was the truth for hariric.
''Ordering a team to take out Lady Elia shouldn't be a problem of any kind, my lord. It's hard. But thanks to our rat users we have excellent maps of what the whole fortress is. Forgive me if it's a silly question, my lord, but why take them out? Is there a threat to them? And if so, what can my wolves expect?''. The commander had to question what had scared his lord about the royal family.
''There is an agreement between Lord Jon Arryn and Lord Tywin Lannister. If the war goes well for the targaryen side, both will try to use this as a way to make them excessively loyal. But in the event that we win the battle against Prince Tywin intends to sacrifice part of the city and be seen as the peacemaker to bring peace to the seven kingdoms.' Hariric growled with disgust.
''That's...horrible. So the princess and her children would be sacrificed as animals nothing more and nothing less than to appease and attract a sense that they have done things right. Why, however, have Arryn and Lannister thought like that? They seemed to think that they actually had the advantage after all.'' The commander was disgusted.
''For a lannister the only thing that matters is what Lannister is neither more nor less. They will sacrifice everyone on their way if they can get away with it and Princess Elia is an insult to Tywin lanister due to the fact that she was the one who became a princess. Something that will gladly be eradicated. I may not like targaryen. But I will never let a child suffer for no apparent reason.'' Harry didn't lie. He didn't like the house of the dragons. They thought they were too superior. But in his mind he felt that they were just inadequate.
"It will send the squadron to evacuate the city just when they are attacking it. We can use a black boat for the movement, my lord. They are extremely fast and are what allow us to move the troops easily.'' The commander now understood his master better. He was a great man in his mind. Be willing to save lives even if they didn't depend on him. However, he wondered why Doran Martell didn't get his sister out of there?
"I don't know. I have no idea why he hasn't taken his sister out of the capital. Or she is very confident about it thinking that in no way could anything happen to her with this war or possibly…
