Silent Wolf

The Silent Wolf Bites its Prey

The North. City of Twin Wolves-

Of the seven northern legions, six were present. The seventh had gone to deal with what was the disease in the form of Bolton. Hariric had given orders to that legion and especially to its commander. His orders were to catch all the noble commanders and kill even the last of the soldiers. No one would be left alive. I wanted to send a message throughout the North.

Hariric growled. I should be more upset but I wasn't. Actually, I was more than excited. It was time. It was time to put the seven kingdoms in their place. For years many have thought of the north as the weakest of the seven kingdoms. He frowned at this thing since if there was an absolute truth that could be said, it is that the North was always strong. It was only the damn conquest that would end up weakening them for what it was.

Rhaegar targaryen. At this moment he was possibly raping his sister for whatever reason. Why else would he take his sister? Use her as a hostage? Yes. But he had also heard of his fascination with a stupid prophecy that said that only fire and ice together could save the world. Hariric made a grimace. Prophecies. The perdition of any existence. Honestly, in Hariric's mind just thinking about a prophecy made him consider humans as a waste of time.

But Rhaegar targaryen had made a mistake. A huge mistake if Hariric had to say it. To begin with, the first mistake he had made is to think somehow that he would get away with it. He had nothing against his children. But he was going to suffer a lot once I put my hands on him. And not a soul would dare to think about the least they can face him.

Syeeping at each of his commanders, he nodded. With Tykren in what was cared for he had passed to ned at the command of his legion. As his second in command, everyone immediately respected him. Everyone knew that although Ned had grown up in the valley, the truth is that he was still a northerner. No one believed in honour. The honour is beautiful but all the northerners believed that an action was worth a thousand words and that making sure to send the right message to the lords of all the kingdoms was perfectly fine.

Getting to what the twin wolves were had been an excellent thing and news. The truth is that everyone agreed. The provisions were being assembled. He was lucky that the North had its reserves very well kept thanks to its cold boxes that were basically able to keep food better. Gods who says that alchemy was not a magical gift decent enough deserved a good kick in the ass.

Each of the commanders put themselves in positions. Everyone respected him. Not only for having shaped the North. Because he was the North. Everyone recognised. The first to do and the last to take. Thanks to all their actions, the north could feed itself. Thanks to his actions, the North was seeing an explosion in population. And what is more important, they could send to hell what was people's actions with simplicity and simplicity.

Before them was a map of what the south was. Every route. Every road. Each ambush position. Each of the lords of the North killed for these maps even maps of the North. But this map was useful to be able to inform. The map showed what was the image of several armies that had planned to form and advance. Each commander looked at the maps specifically and many of them wondered what their lord had in mind.

"Gen men, this map shows us all the scenarios we have. To begin with, I must point out that the royal navy, the navy of Puerto Gaviota and the navy of the Dominion have already set sail for what is to launch an invasion. Their orders are to submit to the ports of the North to be able to launch an attack against our lands ... needless to say, I don't want to allow it. Hariric showed what the papers were with the image of the fleets. The domain's fleet was four hundred ships. Half of them came only from the Redweyne house. The rest were from the other houses of the domain. From what was the east you could see the real fleet of one hundred ships plus the fleet of the Valyrian lords of about fifty ships and the gull port fleet with another fifty ships.

"Sir, I don't want to offend, but will it be possible for our two fleets to be able to face the southern fleets? I mean, I don't want to offend but we only have a hundred warships on each side. They practically outnumber us''. The Frigates were the warships of the north. They could be fast, well armed and well prepared. Lord Willem Dustin was certainly worried since such an attack would hurt them. But Hariric had a funny look that only talked about problems.

"Our two hundred frigates are enough. The royal fleet and the fleet of the Valyrian lords will have to anchor in the Gabiota port to obtain food. While the small fleet of the three sisters has been treated naturally by our preventive attacks.'' And he had the letters signed with a royal seal that talked about how the three sisters thought of all things about attacking the North for their resources more than anything.

"My lord, couldn't that put the Arryn house directly into what this war is? It is already well known that Lord Arryn wants us throughout the North. That he wants Ned Stark to become lord of the North. I could use this war as an excuse to be able to get fully into the war and attack us, my lord.'' Commander Cerwyn was obviously nervous about what it was. If the so-called knights joined this, they would possibly put themselves in an attack from the rear.

''The Arryn house already has intentions. They are actually about to be launched as a form of attack through our rearguard. They are gathering men in these times to be able to assault us from behind when we come to face the forces of Rhaegar''. Hariric growled the old man thought he could attack him without more. He would make sure to send it to pieces. Judging by the looks that the members of the commanders had, they could not understand Lord Jon Arryn's reasons.

"Why would Lord Arryn do such a thing? That is, do you know or are you aware that very possibly when you get into this war you would look like a lape dog? If he does it too, what can we expect from the Tully house in this regard? Those two are very close in their plans.'' Rickon couldn't see the point of getting into this war for no reason. Lord Arryn had nothing to get out of all this.

"Lord Arryn is planning to try to use this to save Ned from the wrath of the king's justice by handing over the North to be punished. In return, Ned will marry Catlyn Tully and at the same time this will result in the north giving several of its secrets of how we are capable of all our products''. Hariric shrugged his shoulders. The spy had taken note of everything he said. He even had a copy of the letter from the prince and the man in which they both discussed the future.

"So the rat of the heavens simply thinks that without further ado we will let it be, don't you intend to allow it, don't you? Let him get ahead with his plans to steal from the north? Those andal bastards are always looking for ways to fuck everyone else''. Jon sneered. I had always had a dislike for the Arryns. The Umbers would never forget what the Arryns' way of being was in essence. They were next to the Tyrell house the defenders of the faith so it is natural that they did not get along.

"I don't intend to allow the Arryns to come. In addition to the attack and destruction of Puerto Gabiota courtesy of the fleet of the East, I intend to sabotage the roads along which the armies of the valley will go. If the roads are sabotaged they will not be able to arrive''. Hariric felt nothing more or less than a feeling of satisfaction knowing that he would be fucking Jon Arryn in a big way.

"They could try to argue in the future that they want some kind of compensation, my lord. If the army does not leave the lands of Arryn, they can make it look like the North actually carried out an attack without provocation of any kind, my lord.'' Willem looked at his master being undecided about what he could have in mind about it.

''It's something they'll do. Once he has eliminated Rhaegar, they will try by all means to make us look guilty. Responsible for the damage and much more. That we are guilty. That if we attack them without provocation. That kind of thing. I don't mind what you have in mind too much. Only what they think they could get away with if we let them advance to attack us''. Because the harsh reality is that if the Arryn army attacked them from the rear then they would be very harmed. It was better to be effective and end them efficiently.

"If that is your decision, my lord, we will support you in your will in this regard to deal with them when the occasion comes. Although if they are unable to move forward, how will a message be sent about it? They may think it's like a stupid act that nothing happens to them.'' Rickon made known the possibility in this regard that they sold that what happened was by the divine act. That the gods themselves had gotten into it. Then Hariric had a dark smile on his face.

''Because as long as our advance advance units are trapped on those roads. Our wolf commandoes are going to attack them. They will make them bleed. They will make them suffer. And everyone and even the last of those idiots will know perfectly through this that they should never fuck with the North''. It was the best kind of message if he had to say it. Attacks that are unpredictable and do damage intelligently.

''The commands…

Lands of the Rivers. The twins-

Tygett Lannister did not agree with his brother's plan. In the least. I felt it was an idiocy to get into the war for whatever it is. But his brother was determined to do it for several reasons. The first was so that the crown was firmly indebted to him. He wanted to get his son back as a royal guard and put Cersei as a wife. He knew that his plan was to extort Rhaegar to accept whether he wanted to or not.

Another of his brother's reasons is that he wanted above all to attack the North and hurt him so much. The North had been blooming a lot. If I grew up much more, I could be able to become independent, which was not good. As a former hand of the king, he had access to many things, including taxes. The North paid taxes only for trade. I wanted to change that and this war was the best opportunity for it.

And the last thing is that his brother had set his eyes on the rich territories of the North. He wanted to exploit them in his favour obviously and he thought he could demand it. Hence why this plan. But Tygett didn't feel good about that idea. His brother could be failing at all this. He could be getting right into the worst shitstorm of all the centuries and Lord Stark was determined in case he succeeded in his campaign to see them reduced to a simple memory.

He had sent him with twenty thousand men gathered from what were all the vassal houses while he marched with forty thousand to the capital and from there join the prince's forces to launch an attack with all their forces. His victory would be. But Tygett thought it was a visible tactic. Everyone knew about Tywin Lannister. His brother had made a reputation. And he could remember the words of his brother Gerion. What he said about the man he met. There were few chances of scaring his brother but Gerion was afraid of Hariric.

Tygett knew many more things. He knew that his brother Tywin felt threatened. The Lannister house had a single form of money gain in the form of the resources of his land. The north not only had untouched resources for a long time but in addition to that they had the brutal advantage of making more and more profits. Tygett knew that his brother had killed himself because he wanted to steal those businesses from the Stark house. But every opportunity to take something away from the Stark house ended in the worst possible way.

They had thought at times that they could take advantage of themselves. Kidnap someone. Marry someone. Those ideas were beautiful. But hariric Stark was making changes in the north. The university of Isengard that was leaving the citadel in the dust. The academy of officers then making that there is no need for any that there are people who are welcomed. That and much more if you would think about it were reasons why his brother was so upset by the fact that the North was flourishing.

So hence the support for the war. But he didn't feel comfortable with it. I saw a young gentleman next to him. He was young. His brother actually had most of the veterans. That was bad because it meant that in essence he was alone with inexperienced fighters while he had a powerful force. Once again, it was only supposed to serve as a tool to cut any possibility of progress. Next to him was Lord Darry of the lands of the rivers and Walder Frey or called Walder the black who was the best commander of the Frey house.

The truth is that allying with the Frey scum was less than funny to him. In his opinion, his brother should have made an effort to have broken his sister's marriage alliance a long time ago but things were as they were and unfortunately things had not gone well. However, he assumed that his brother had reached an agreement with Frey. I just hoped that the bastard hadn't extorted them for any other shit.

"Things are going well. Our explorers informed us that the northern army has advanced correctly along the royal road and is advancing without any problem to reach the trident. If everything goes according to plans, they will arrive in three days at the trident, which is excellent because by then the prince's forces should already be there. Tygett nodded to himself. A calliper movement was always the best way to win.

"Those wolves have proven to be the most idiotic for not realising what it is that they have been deceived. They must have been confused with what is clearly Lord Tully's decision that he didn't want to get into this meaningless fight.'' Walder laughed brutally. There was nothing better. In recent times the lords of the north had grown too arrogant. It was time to teach them a very valuable lesson.

''Lord Stark may lack military skills but you can't be wrong with the fact that he was possibly just thinking that as in any other house the ruler would have complete control of his subordinates if you stop to think about it. It's not a stupid thing to think.'' Tygett didn't like the damn Frey just because of the way he expressed himself.

"Please, Lord Stark has what he deserves. To think that they believe they have the slightest right to demand in some way. The damn father went to the capital and demanded the return of his daughter. If Prince Rhaegar has his daughter, he has to prove it and he just felt as if he thought he had the authority about it.'' Lord Darry felt annoyed by the fact that Lord Stark had such a dare.

"What if he's telling the truth, eh? What if he's not lying? What if we are really getting into one thing that was Targaryen themselves who started all this? From what we know it could be possible that the Targaryen house had something to do with all this and Hariric Stark is just being one more brother who wants to recover his sister from what is a kidnapping''. Tygett knew that crazy devotion was not the best of things.

"Does it even matter that it's like that? Does it matter that a Northern bitch has been stolen? If I think things have to be in a way, it's that Stark should have accepted willingly that he should take that the woman should spread her legs''. Like all Frey for Walder things were simple and straightforward. Women only served as reproductive tools, no more, no less, and if the Stark woman was so against her fate when it came to him, it didn't matter a fucking shit.

"Be careful. If this goes wrong and the Stark somehow smells this, you will want compassion for your house. Hariric Stark does not seem to me one of those men of compassion or mercy for those who offend him and everyone knows that he loves his brothers more than any gentleman can come to love his family''. In fact it was the fear. Hariric Stark had managed to be able to have spies in every house of the seven kingdoms.

"They don't have a chance. The forces of a single kingdom face off against the kingdom with the most men and fighters of the seven kingdoms. It also faces the force of another kingdom such as the West. And also the forces of Dorne. Not to mention the lands of the crown. The Stark house faces a threat in which it is surpassed by number. His chances of winning are low.'' Lord Darry shook his head.

''Underestimating the enemy is the greatest idiocy that a commander could do. Hariric Stark may not be a sublime strategist from what we know but possibly his army has some of the best advisors and they could know things about us.'' Underestimating the enemy was the most idiotic thing a person could do. In Tygett's own personal opinion, underestimating Hariric Stark's power and potential was complete ridicule.

"From what you say then we should tremble with fear at the so-called power of the Stark house, seriously lannister? I thought that you Lannisters were made of harder masses and therefore you are more capable of doing some things rather than having to put up with people in the slightest''. Walder sneered about it. The very idea of being afraid of the Stark house seemed stupid to him.

"It is that attitude that will lead to this operation being a complete failure if I have to say so. The possibilities that the Stark house has not evolved as a house in these times seems to me one of the most idiotic things. And Frey at least are one of the houses that can say they have an adequate lineage while your house is only powerful for being the house that has neither more nor less than a lot of money for a bridge''. It wasn't a good thing nor was it a good way to treat an old house.

"I guess we could do what Lord Lannister seriously says. The truth is that underestimating the enemy seems stupid. It would be in our best interest not to leave in any way the possibility of being hurt by some kind of run. After all, the savages could be capable of anything if they see themselves threatened.'' Lord Darry looked practically insensitive and walked away.

Walder walked away without any problem. In his opinion, worrying about the Stark house was completely idiotic if he had to say it. The Stark house wasn't as strong as it once was. The dragons had taken care of tearing off their fangs and what is more important the Stark house had completely lost any possibility of growing. True the current Lord Stark could be able to return what is essentially the name but the northerners only needed a little touch.

For Lord Darry, things were simple. He was a faithful follower of the faith of the seven. Since I could remember it could easily be said that I had never had any problem saying that as long as the dogs stayed in their cold paramo it was fine. Now they came and demanded as…
