POV LAST

Septimus Aethelred's POV

(MC's father)

As he watched with utter bafflement, his emotions were equally reflected on the faces of five other individuals in the room, as they saw his son, watch apathetically over the cooling corpses of his first kill.

That they were rapists, utter degenerates of their society, and yet the prestigious lords and heir of the Sacred Twenty-eight Families was not lost on them. It was the sheer ease, with which his son had marched in, shot the house elf in the head, crept behind the drapes, saw the women being raped, and killed fully grown men while they were fuelled by their lusts.

He had then mercifully ended the suffering of the women, which he saw was a silver lining, but the next thing shocked him even further.

His son was wearing a tight leather glove, which he removed to wear something his father told him was a latex glove, which Muggle healers use to avoid infection, a growing concern for muggles apparently.

He sorted through the gore he created, picked up wands from each wizard, and made it all disappear. He then did the same after staring at the Gringotts vault keys from each lord. Surely, he isn't planning, what I fear? Knowing his son, Alas! His son's plans may end up quite outrageous, just like the rest of his existence.

He had then began to vanish every single item in the house, which he now recognised as Yaxley Manor.

The next few hours were something equally concerning. He spoke in Gobbledygook, and got access to a vault, which didn't require a goblin escort.

He then, vanished the entire contents of the three vaults, before exiting the place, like he belonged there in the first place.

The next few weeks, were like being side-along apparated all over the world for years. It was stressful, terrifying, alarming, wonderful and awe-inspiring.

The final act in his child's actions seemed to be that of evading capture from apparently a powerful wizard who seemed to have been using a Timeturner to spy on his child. But his son, like always, was prepared for it.

When he saw the Hitwizard he hired still in Ministry Atrium, he decided to ask her later to make her report, like she always does.

She, apparently, was a very good rune expert. And she told him something he found equally outrageous. His son had carved runes on the Stele, which held information which could make or break the British Wizarding World, but the runes were not of any language known to man. It wasn't in the usual rune languages, like Egyptian, Sumerian, Norse or Gaelic. They weren't in any obscure languages either, because they were apparently capable of storing magic and channeling it through the carved runes, as if each rune was alive.

And she just witnessed multiple aurors and other "upstanding" citizens cast Bombarda Maxima, and other artillery spells and not even managed to make the Stele budge an inch.

She wanted to meet him, since her charge had returned home, and discuss more briefly on what she witnessed. This wasn't what she was paid for.

He agreed, as he would have killed her for being a witness to his son's actions, if the first time it happened, he hadn't made her swear an Unbreakable Vow to protect his family.

And his son had just apparated in the Drawing Room, apparently from over two hundred miles (And he, his father, didn't know his son even knew apparition, let alone do something only old and powerful wizards and witches were willing to do).

So he did ask the first question, that came to his mind, after his son casually revealed he had been aware of the Scrying, the Blood Magic and even his Tag-along. "How did you enchant that Stele?"

And his son had the gall to mutter, "So troublesome!" The nerve on this boy!
