When I woke up I was not surprised to find the bed to be empty. Benedito had come in some hours ago to tell me he had way more work than he had expected which I completely understood. I had stolen him away for a very long time.
I was simply happy to be back in the house again in the bed that smelt exactly like him covered by the expensive sheets he had gotten from Egypt or wherever he talked about. The curtains were still open therefore I could see the pink and orange sky as the sun started to set.
My growling stomach was what woke me up. The last thing I had eaten was a small meal on the jet and that was not enough to fill my Texan stomach. I sat up then climbed off the bed.
