Wolf pack

Waking up, and crawling out of the small tent, I stretch and yawn.

'What to do, what to do?'

Not knowing what to do next, I walk back to the lake and refill my water sack.

Walking around the forest, I hunt whatever I find.

It was nearing sundown, when I finally spotted deer tracks.

Making sure not to step on any leaves, or twigs, I follow the tracks.

That's when I encountered the deer.

It was a majestic creature. Its fur was light blue, with trails of white running down its back. Its antlers were the most beautiful thing about it. They sparkled like diamonds. They were so beautiful.

And a good hunt too.

The deer seemed to have smelled me because it bolted.

Literally. Lighting coursed through its body, and it ran.

"I'm not letting you get away!" I yell out.

Running after the deer was a struggle. The only reason why I haven't lost it yet was because of my small body.

I was able to go through tight squeezes that the deer couldn't. Allowing me to not lose it.

I chased it until we were both out of breath. The deer tired of running, stopped and looked back at me.

Its antlers glowed before I heard a howl. A pure white wolf came out of nowhere. It bit onto the deer's neck and tore a chunk off.

Another wolf came out. This one pure black, attacked its legs. That's when the rest of the wolves came out. All of them are either white or black.

They killed the deer in no time. When they killed the deer, the biggest white wolf and black one approached me.

I got on guard, ready to run at any moment.

But I didn't need to. They sat down not too far away.

I can tell in their eyes that they did not mean harm.

I walked towards them, and let them sniff me.

"So, what do y'all want?" I said

They might not have understood what I said, but they got the meaning behind my words.

*Awoooooo*

They both howled. Following the howl, the rest of the wolves dragged away the corpse of the deer. They looked back at me. They wanted me to follow them.

And follow them I did. I went back to their cave.

There were little wolf cubs, playing with each other, or waiting for their parents to come back. There were some wolves left behind to watch the cubs.

That's when, the two-pack alphas, went up to the highest platform.

*Awwwwoooooooo*

They both howled. Shortly after the rest of the wolves joined the howl.

I was pushed up to the front by some of the wolves.

That's when the ground underneath me began to glow. On the back of my hand the same symbol as the one on the ground appeared.

When the glowing finally ended, I was left with a white symbol on the back of my hand. The cubs ran towards me, and started a dog pile, with me on the bottom.

And this is how I joined a wolf pack.
