Outside the door the guards stood. Flinching: for every thud, boom and crash the two men were making inside.
Aaron didn't hold back. He had been holding onto this anger since the last time he and Zane seen eachother.
The thought of them both in that bed fueled Aaron to throw another punch.
The Alpha dodging any throw, punch and kick the Omega gave him.
"Will effectively hitting me make you feel better?" Zane asked, taking a step back.
Aaron seemed to be the only one out of breath.
"If I say yes will you hold still?"
Zane couldn't help but smirk at his counter.
Aaron stopped his assault a moment to catch his breath. The Alpha didn't seem affected by the skirmish.
"Why this room and these gifts then?" Aaron motioned to the items around them.
"Do you have a guilty concious or what?"
Both of their eyes staring at one another: Zane turned his head to the right. Taking in the sight of the room.
"Seems to me you don't know how to receive a gift".
Aaron took advantage of the distraction and tackled the Alpha to the floor. Slamming into Zane's chest: the two of them tumbled to the floor.
Aaron: straddling over Zane's stomach: held the Alpha's arms up by his wrists. Looming over the blonde's body. Catching his breath. His blue eyes stared daggers into the emerald ones.
Zane's face held no emotion. He stared up at the Omega: almost as if he were waiting.
"Is this better?" He asked looking up. Back pressed against the hard ground.
Aaron leaned back releasing Zane's arms. Still sitting on top of him.
"If none of these things interest you I have other-"
SMACK.
Aaron: open handed: smacked Zane across his face. Seething mad, gritting his teeth. Zane effectively shut his mouth.
"You really think offering material items makes up for what you did?"
Laying bemused: Zane furrowed his brows.
"Forget it" Aaron Scoffed.
"I don't expect you to understand anyways. I don't know why I bother." He smirked.
Zane let the Omega speak. Waiting.
"Then tell me". Zane replied.
Aaron looked at him. His eyes widened slightly. He wasn't expecting that reply.
"Could it be because it was your first time?" Zane plainly asked.
The Omega Scowled.
He raised his fist and landed a punch on Zane's shoulder.
The blow made Zane slight flinch on impact.
"I'm mad."
Aaron leaned back. He looked up and let out a sharp sigh.
"Mad I was born an Omega. Mad that I can't control my own damn instincts."
He looked back at Zane who was still laying under him.
"Mad at how weak I can be."
The Alpha raised an eyebrow.
"You're not weak".
Aaron was taken back by his comment.
Zane propped himself up by his elbows.
"What do YOU know?" Aaron asked.
Zane gave a slight smile.
"I know your punches are no joke".
The Alpha sat up a bit more.
Aaron couldn't take his eyes off Zane. He felt the sincerity in Zane's comment. He had never been praised by any Alpha before.
"You are very stubborn and hot headed".
The Omega glared. If flattery is what Zane was going for he was starting to waver.
Though as Aaron listened he couldn't help but smell somthing. Somthing familiar.
Wood. The fresh wood smell that was wrapping around them.
It was relaxing. Aaron didn't feel threatened by the scent.
"I've never met an Omega like you before."
Aaron came to. He and Zane's faces were inches apart.
Zane: Sitting up completely: looked at Aaron. Aaron hadn't moved an inch, now sitting on Zane's lap.
With a swift motion, Aaron shoved himself off of Zane.
"Are you crazy?!"
The Alpha didn't budge. He was a bit shocked as well.
"Me? What about you?"
Aaron paused. He smelled his own arm.
"I was just reciprocating." Zane turned his head.
The Omega couldn't believe he let his own pheromones out like that.
"Always the stupid pheromones". Aaron grunted.
The two were Interrupted by the sound of the doors opening to the room.
"I said to L-" Zane started to turn but stopped.
Zeke stood in the doorway taking in the sight of the room.
Chairs turned upside down. A table casted to the side. Even the boxes of gifts, that Zane had sent, were scattered around the room.
Zeke's wide eyed expression scanned the area.
"Well it looks promising but I don't exactly approve of the redecorating", He smirked.
Zane got to his feet.
"What is it?" His whole attitude changed from ten seconds ago. He now held a harsh look on his face.
"Did you forget about your appointments?" Zeke tilted his head to the side.
Zane sighed.
"Omega". He looked back at Aaron.
"As I have said before this is your new chambers and if you need anything feel free to summon my servants."
He made himself presentable and walked by Zeke. Bumping his shoulder harshly against his brother: he left the room.
Zeke watched until Zane was out of sight.
"Now then", He he smiled and turned back around to the Omega.
"How about we get this place cleaned up." He clapped his hands together.
The maids poured back into the room to straighten it back out.
"How about we take a little walk while they tidy up". Zeke wrapped his arm around Aaron's shoulder: leading him out of the room.
---
"Feeling better?" Zeke looked down. Arms crossed.
Aaron was laying on his back in the cold snow.
"Fresh air! I thought I was gonna die!!"
The Young Alpha chuckled at Aaron's antics.
"Laugh it up." Aaron snapped.
"Until you've been locked up for days without the sensation of the wind on your face: you wouldn't understand".
Aaron opened his eyes looking up at Zeke.
The smile on the young Alpha's face had vanished.
"You're right". He half smiled looking out at the garden.
The Omega laid on his back as a stray snowflake or two drifted down onto his cheek.
He slowly stood up brushing the snow off of himself.
"I don't suppose those guard dogs have left?"
Zeke peeked over his shoulder.
Four guards stood by the door of the manor.
"Still there" He smiled at them then turned back to Aaron.
The air around the two was chilly. The sounds of the birds and other wildlife were quiet. The only sounds were the creaking of the tree branches and the soft sifting snow as the wind blew.
"How have you been holding up?" The young Alpha broke the silence.
"You're making small talk with me?" Aaron turned his head and smirked.
"I suppose I am". Zeke yawned.
"What are my chances of leaving this place, say, on a visitation basis?" Aaron asked.
"None." Zeke answered bluntly.
Aaron nodded.
"Then what are thr chances you can get a note out?"
Zeke looked down at Aaron.
"A note?"
Aaron shuffled his feet in the snow for a brief moment.
"I need to get a message out to someone, can you help me?"
Zeke unfolded his arms.
"Pretty brazen of you to ask me for a favor, especially after all of the things I've done to help you". He smiled.
"True. However you want me out of Here. If you can get my messages out it will benefit us both."
"How?" Zeke's interest was peaked.
"I can't say, but because I somewhat trust you I need you to trust me".
Zeke thought about it.
He let out a sigh.
"Fine. Where is this letter?"
Aaron's heart nearly skipped a beat out of anxiety.
"I'll have it for you in a few days. Is that alright?"
Zeke nodded.
Before any other pleasantries were exchanged a member of staff came to fetch the two of them.
Zeke and Aaron returned back to the newly lavished room. The fire had been stoked, the furniture fixed and put back into their positions. Aaron couldn't help but slight gawk.
"I heard Zane was the one who gifted you this room." Zeke brushed his fingers along the table.
"He said it was his way of apologizing." "Whatever that means".
Zeke stopped.
"Dumb bastard". Zeke muttered.
"What was that?"
"Nothing. It just seems like he is getting somewhat attached to you".
Aaron made a disgusted face.
"Sorry". Zeke partially laughed.
"Just be careful." He added with a serious tone. He trudged back to the door.
"Well I guess I'll take my leave".
"Hey! Hold on!" Aaron strided over to Zeke.
"About the letter..."
"Just inform your maid when you have it ready. I'll have someone retrieve it."
Aaron nodded.
Zeke smiled. He cupped Aaron's cheek with his hand, Sliding his thumb on the Omega's cheekbone".
He pulled his hand back. Without saying another word he left.
Aaron stood at the door. He reached up and touched his hand to where Zeke's hand was.
"They both are a bunch of weirdos". He muttered. Taking note to watch himself around Zeke.
He made his way over to a gold trimmed desk. Papers, ink and a pen lay at the ready.
Aaron sat in the chair and picked up the pen in his hand.
Dipping the pen in the ink he carefully started writing.
