Date Night - 1
After finishing up all the outdoor rounds, Caroline left early that evening. After all, she had to get dressed up for her first date.
She rushed for a quick bath and then started rummaging through her wardrobe. Humming a Taylor Swift number, she acted as if she was back in her teens.
"Carol, what would you like for dinner?" Asked Benjamin as he gently knocked on her door.
"I am going out on a date, Gramps!"
"With whom?" And she could decipher a sudden switch in his tone.
"You will see!" And not knowing why, she lightly giggled as she picked up a plain peach-colored A-line dress and lay it on her bed. She looked at the thin straps and wondered for a moment if it was too skimpy.
But in the next, she just pushed away that thought.
