At the beginning of this story, there were two children, both having lost their families due to the thirst for power of a man and the fear of his end. Two children, one blessed by destiny, the other endowed with a mind worthy of the greatest. Two children, one having grown up with a horrible family, the other in the utter solitude. Two children who, at the age of eleven, are destined to meet. as usual, I don't have the rights except for my characters, and English is not my native language. | January 11, 1992 | Room of Arcana |

"Welcome, witches and wizards. May today be the day Hogwarts welcomes the beginning of a revolution that history will remember as a turning point in magic. Today, I have the honor of opening the innovation workshop in magic. The Arcane room."

At the end of Lilian's inaugural speech for the workshop, Professor Flitwick cheerfully waved his wand and conjured fireworks, much to the delight of the children. Finally, Lilian's long-awaited project had completed its basic construction. The sanctuary that would be his legacy to Hogwarts marked its beginning.

"Oh, Lilian, now that the inauguration is over, can you introduce us to your workshop?" asked the cheerful little professor.

"Of course, Professor Flitwick. As you can see, there are four small sections in the first version of The Arcane Room, or to simplify, T.A.R., which are themselves divided into two large sections. On our left, we have the forge and refinement section and the runic inscription section. And on our right, we have the potion-making section, with the alchemy section coming later."

"Wow, alchemy is a very complicated but very interesting profession. If you can understand it, I'm sure we'll see great things happen here," Professor Flitwick almost jumped with excitement at the thought of working on alchemy.

"Hehe, I understand your excitement, Professor, but it's too early to marvel at what I've shown you. There's much more to see," Lilian's smile contained a hint of impatience, anticipating the reactions of those in the room to his masterpiece.

"Now, moving on to the second version of the room before showing you the grand finale." As he uttered these words, Lilian struck his cane against the floor, and the room began to change. All devices and supplies disappeared, leaving only an empty space. A large area where only the professor and Harry understood the purpose of this zone.

"What's there to see? There's nothing," sarcastically asked the Gryffindor redhead.

Lilian responded with silence and continued, "This empty room, as Ronald so keenly observes, will serve for magical testing, training, and anything else that requires space."

He paused for a moment to let them observe the room and then asked the professor.

"Professor Flitwick, I assume that an example is worth more than ten thousand words, so would you please do me the honor of using a sufficiently destructive spell in this room."

Though undoubtedly hesitant about fulfilling this request, the half-goblin complied. It took a moment before he exclaimed [Bombarda].

A projection of a fireball headed straight towards one of the walls and exploded upon impact, creating a massive crater.

The fearful professor, worried that something had escaped his student's control, squirmed in panic. But despite the hole, Lilian maintained his confident smile. The room repaired itself, a feature not very innovative for this type of room but still a source of pride for the Slytherin.

Facing the fascinated and envious eyes of a certain someone, he continued, "Yes, like the other version, this one is self-repairing, easily achievable with Mending enchantments. But it's still a plus."

"How much did all this cost?" asked Ronald Weasley with little enthusiasm.

"A lot, but progress is the most significant wealth," Lilian said, tapping the floor to bring back all the objects.

"Anyway, there's still a lot to review, but especially the thing I wanted to show you the most is this... the rune matrix with a quartz core, allowing for greater magical power storage."

Admiring his work, Lilian continued, "It enables many things that I will explain later, but the most impressive is the recording of everything that happens in this room."

This statement caught everyone's attention, but Hermione was the quickest to ask, "Recording of all events? What does that mean?"

Lilian's smile turned into an almost mad grin. "In every innovation, the most crucial thing is data. With that, it's easier to understand, analyze, study, and apply any phenomenon. So, every action, whether it's making a potion, casting a spell, or engraving something, will be recorded with existing magical phenomena. It's a more modern and Muggle approach to magic. For now, the matrix's sole purpose is to store this data. But later, I plan to create a magical AI capable of sorting and organizing the data more logically. Imagine the possibilities that will arise. Even without me, future generations will have assistance for innovation."

Lilian's madness left everyone in the room speechless, but he continued. "But perhaps the craziest thing is the least ethical…recording the bodily and magical functions of someone. Do you remember the little question I asked you, 'Do you want to enter?'"

"Well, it's a kind of magical contract that allows the magical power of the matrix to easily analyze everything happening in your body. This will help identify the strengths and weaknesses of a wizard or witch and facilitate their learning. Isn't it magnificent?"

An overwhelming silence filled the room. Even his friends, who thought they had seen everything regarding Lilian's lack of judgment, were astonished. A magical contract is not something to be taken lightly in the magical world. One could even say it is more often avoided. So the fact that they had signed a contract without knowing...

"Damn it, Lilian, you don't impose a contract so easily on someone. Linking an individual's mana to something else could earn you murder attempts just for trying," declared Tracey, half amazed and half angry, almost fighting with Lilian about it.

"Yeah, my friend, I know you have good intentions in your actions, but this is a big no," expressed Blaise, uncomfortable with this situation.

"Lilian, dear child, I don't think I can allow such a contract to exist. No matter how much it helps, there is a limit to everything," said Professor Flitwick with a rare serious and authoritative look on his face.

For the Gryffindors, Harry fully trusted his brother, and Hermione, lacking general knowledge of the wizarding world, did not see the gravity of Lilian's actions.

Only Ronald, understanding that something had been forced upon him, became enraged. Stepping back a bit, almost knocking everyone over, Lilian explained.

"Please, calm down. I don't think the contract is harmful to us. And even if it is, the contract is only active in this room and can be canceled at any time by requesting its cancellation. But if I have to say it, it would be really unfortunate to miss out on the future opportunities it could bring."

"We don't care about all that because I'm sure you're lying. I don't believe that a person would make such an expensive room just to help others. Especially not coming from a Slytherin, you must be lying to us about something," said the Gryffindor, provoking sharp reactions, but unfortunately, it was against him.

"What do you mean by 'Especially not coming from a Slytherin'? Are you looking for trouble with us, huh! And everyone here knows that Lilian hates lying, even when the truth hurts," declared Tracey, ready for a confrontation, casting a deadly look at the redhead. Just like the other Slytherins, even Daphné, who had kept her stoic expression, displayed a colder tint in her gaze.

"Ron, that was really rude what you just said, you should apologize. After all, Lilian meant no harm, he's just too enthusiastic about magical research," said Hermione softly.

"I... wha... why are you all against me? I'm telling you, this guy is shady and won't do any good," stammered Ronald in the face of the confrontation with his friends.

"Ron, we're talking about my brother! Honestly, I thought you guys were on good terms after Christmas, so why are you stirring the pot again?"

Ron didn't understand why everyone was against him. He knew he was mean; all Slytherins were mean, so he would be too, right? Ron saw him being praised by his friends and professors for doing incredible things. But Ron was convinced that Lilian Potter wasn't right, and no one wanted to hear it.

Seeing his best friend going against him as well, he stormed out of the room in anger.

"Ron, wait!" Harry tried to stop his friend, but it was in vain.

Observing the situation from the sidelines, Lilian was angry at the reaction of the youngest Gryffindor, then happy that his friends defended him, and finally sad for his brother, whose emotions he could feel through their connection. He approached Harry and said, "Don't worry, Harry, I don't hold it against him. Ron has always been conditioned by his parents for such prejudice. But that doesn't mean it's okay to leave him like that. Give him time to think and talk to him."

To change the atmosphere at that moment in the room, Lilian suggested something.

"I'm going to show you an important element that you will all use during your training here."

Lilian headed towards the potion-making section and made two types in a considerable quantity for each.

"At the moment, I haven't yet reached an agreement with Professor Pomona Sprout and Hagrid to supply materials to this workshop, but I will do it later. Professor Flitwick, I'll ask for your help, of course, with the negotiations. But two of the potions that will be most produced here are ones I created a long time ago.

One of them, which I simply call <Regeneration Elixir> allows faster muscle and endurance regeneration for muscle strengthening and improved endurance that takes less time.

The other is a potion I call <Mind Overload> It enhances sensitivity to all senses but has the side effect of quicker mental fatigue.

These two potions, as Harry knows, will enable more effective training."

At the mention of the two potions, Harry's complexion began to pale, and he tried to escape the room, but he couldn't escape or warn the others of the ordeal to come.

"And what if we start training with these?" said Lilian with a smile that, in Harry's eyes, belonged to the devil.
