Chapter 17 Deal

When Dumbledore and Harry walk into the bookstore, they saw Snape introducing Petunia potion books while giving advice and McGonagall scolding Dudley for running around.

McGonagall saw them coming and ask, "what took so long and what happen to Ms Vole?"

"There were a few hiccups on the road and Ms Vole was picked up by her parent when we left the pet store," said Dumbledore.

"Harry, didn't you said you were going to get an owl?" Said Petunia.

"Oh, crap I forgot it at the pet store," said Harry.

"No need to worry the owl will find its way to you," said Dumbledore.

"That's good" said Harry and then ask, "Professor McGonagall can you show me some book on some spell?"

"You are too young to be practicing spell" McGonagall hands Harry a book. "You might like this one it a book about a wizard's adventure."

Harry saw the title Year with the Yeti by Gilderoy Lockheart. He pushes the book away in disgust.

"I don't need to read a book about a liar" Harry thought to himself and walk to the bookshelves and he grab a book that caught his eye. The book's title said, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them". Harry opens the book and feels like his focus was all on the book.

After a while, McGonagall saw Harry standing next to the bookshelves focusing. She went over and tap Harry shoulder, waking up Harry from his trance.

Aye. Congratulations to host for obtaining new Occupation: Beasts Tamer (beginner): knowledgeable in capturing, taming, and raising magical beast...

Harry saw the occupation and decided to investigate his Mokeskin pouch, to check the Qilin's egg status.

[Qilin's egg:??????]

"Seem like I need to upgrade Beast tamer if I want to hatch that egg." Thought Harry.

Harry decided to grab some books and sat down to read it. The owner saw this and walk over to Harry.

"Excuse me sir, you have to pay for those first before reading it." Said the owner

"I'm just looking at it really quick to see if I want it," said Harry

"Sorry sir you already look at that book before buying it and this store have a policy on trying one book before buying the rest" said the owner while pointing at the book Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

"Fine I'll buy these book" said Harry was ready to get up and paid but was stop by the book owner.

"Sir these books can't be purchased until you enroll into Hogwarts," said the owner. The owner starts to taking away books from Harry table leave only Lockheart books and miscellaneous book.

"Come on these books can't teach me anything" said Harry looking at the book being taken away.

"I told you Harry" said McGonagall from the side.

"Fine since i have nothing to do i might as well get this book" said Harry holding Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

He walks over to the register and was ready to pay for it, but Dumbledore beat him to it.

"This is the money from the bounty we got from the Death Eater. Would you like the rest?" Whisper Dumbledore.

"No but I need a favor from you Professor Dumbledore," said Harry.

"I can't teach you any spell Mr Potter" said Dumbledore.

"No, not that I heard you have a Phoenix. Can I borrow some of its blood?" Ask Harry

Dumbledore was shocked and then grimace " why do you need Phoenix blood for?"

"I need it for this egg" Harry sneakily pulled out the Frost Phoenix's egg.

Dumbledore look at the egg with surprised. He felt a slight blood connection "Where did you get this egg?" Whisper Dumbledore

"I bought it for 1,000 Galleons from the pet shop," said Harry.

"Who is dumb enough to sell a Phoenix's egg for 1,000 Galleons?" Dumbledore wants to shout but held it in. Dumbledore touch the egg and felt the coolness coming from the egg. "Why do you need my Phoenix blood? It's seemed like your egg is a Frost Phoenix, and my Phoenix is a Fire Phoenix."

"I want to try something out," said Harry

"It's will cost you a lot," said Dumbledore

"How about we call it even since you didn't help when I was fighting those Death Eater?" Said Harry, surprising Dumbledore.

"Did you saw me?" Questioned Dumbledore

"It's hard to miss seeing an old man creeping by the window" said Harry and continue "I promise I'll won't tell Professor McGonagall that you let children fight off 4 Death eater."

"Ok fine" Dumbledore took out a glass vial of blood and hands it to Harry.

"Thanks, nice doing business with you Professor Dumbledore" smile Harry

After a while, Snape and Petunia was done, they call for the group to get ready to leave. Petunia checks the time and notice it's getting late and they missed lunch.

"Shall we have dinner at our place?" Said Petunia. She wants to go out to eat but remembered Harry magical cooking and change her mind.

The professors including Snape remember Harry cooking this morning and their stomach growled.

"Let's pick up some ingredients and cook a feast celebrating Aunt Petunia become an official wizard". Said Harry making everyone cheers.

[At Vole family house]

Cassandra who was still blushing, got home and rushes to her room. She put down her stuff and laid in bed holding the 9 Tailed Fox's egg. She starts stroking the egg thinking about Harry making her blushes some more. Suddenly there was a knock on her door.

"Cassandra, can you come outside to the living room your dad and I want to talk to you? Said Mrs Vole.

Cassandra went to the door and opened. Mrs Vole notice Cassandra holding an egg and ask, "what kind of egg is that?"

"Someone told me it's a 9 Tail Fox's egg," said Cassandra

"9 TAIL FOX'S EGG!!!" Said Mrs Vole and questioned "WHERE DID YOU GET IT?"

"I got it from the boy you saw earlier," said Cassandra

"Are you sure it's real? He might be lying to make a better impression of him" said Mrs Vole.

"No, I trust him" snaps Cassandra

"Oh my, already defending him, seem like someone does have a good impression of him" said Mrs Vole while giggling.

"Mom, stop it" blushed Cassandra.

"Ok that enough, lets go to your father, he is waiting with some guess" said Mrs Vole
