BLACKMAILED PART 1

The scene that met the four friends and the elf could only be from inborn brutality. A kind of brutality that their friends were incapable of.

Ron was swirling Hermione's cat through the air with one leg. Poor Crookshank was purring helplessly while its owner laughed madly alongside Dean and Nevile.

Troy absorbed everything in an instant. But eventually, the cold reality finally hit home. He was certain beyond any doubt that Harry's dream was real. Ron and the rest could have lost it but he was sure that Hermione would never allow anyone to treat her cat in that manner.

The appearance of the four caught the group by surprise. Rons look alike let go of Crookshank amid a swirl and the cat fell to the other corner of the ward with a thud.

All four students took a step back. Troy noted that both Fred and George had already drawn their wands.

"What have you done to our brother," Fred said as both the twins pointed their wands towards the lookalike.

"What do you mean, Fred, I am your poor brother, Can't you tell?" The Ron impersonator said in a weak voice. Harry was sure that Ron would have rather kissed a spider than talk that way to his brothers.

"I swear to God, if you have hurt him, I will use the unforgettable curse," George said angrily as he took a step forward. His hands gripped his wand so hand and his Jaws were set in a rage that Harry had never known he was capable of.

The other lookalikes had now joined their colleague, who appeared to be the leader. "Well, it appears our cover is blown, but no matter." "We were going to get there soon after all," said the Ron furie, abandoning the pretence.

"where is our brother you bastard," asked Fred as he too stepped forward. His face was now burning red with rage and tiny sparks danced from the end of his wand.

The furies did not appear to be intimidated in the least.

"I assure you, said the Ron fury unabashed, you wouldn't want to harm us, whatever measure you employ, will be served to your friends as well"

"so you have taken them to the underworld then?" troy who had till now remained silent asked.

The Ron fury stepped forward despite Fred's intimidating wand his eyes run over Troy and his nose began sniffing the air

Troy felt everything finally fall into place. The fear that invaded his whole body was enough to drown out the rest of the furie's voice. He was lost in his mind.

Just one name and every tiny piece of Information that had made no sense finally dawned on him

Of course, it had to be Kronos, Troy had begun suspecting hades' involvement. Hellhounds and furies were all in his jurisdiction. But hades had no quarrel with his dad. It was he. who had returned his helm of darkness and saved the gods from the mad titan.

His mother had even helped rebuild Olympus after it had been destroyed by Kronos and his army of monsters. so no God under Zeus would dare attack Annabeth or her child.

That only left Kronos the mad titan and father to the gods. Troy recalled that his father had always warned him That the titan could not be killed unless all his legacy was destroyed. That meant killing all the gods as well.

The only thing that could be done was to suppress Kronos's remains within the depths of Tartarus. But it appeared that even that was failing, and the titan was gradually paving his way with treachery and manipulation, his signature. One thing did not make sense though

"But Hades rules the underworld, and he would never allow the furies to work for Kronos," Troy exclaimed, perplexed.

The furies burst out in malicious laughter. "Hades wouldn't let us... hear that," the Ron furry said contemptuously. "Not every fury eats crumbs from Hades' table," said the leader aggressively.

"But anyway, let us skip the pleasantries, lord Kronos requires your services," Ron's imposter said pointing to the four friends

"We are not doing any sh*t until we have our friends," Fred said with a determined look.

"And even then, I would never help that mad titan," Troy added.

"You wouldn't want me to tell him that." "Your friends would not live to see the day," the leader said sternly. "Your friends are in a comfortable place for now. However, how long they remain that way depends on your obedience.

For the first time, the student realized the desperate state they were in. The twins hesitantly lowered their wands. " I knew you would finally understand the situation" said the fury with an evil smile

"You two love mischief after all." "You shall have fun doing this." Cackled the fury pointing at the twins. It was obvious that The fury leader was enjoying the advantage he had over the four students. "you have until tomorrow evening to bring us the sword in the headmaster's office"

The four students looked at each other In shock

"What!, You want us to break into the headmaster's office and get the sword of Godric Gryffindor?" "Fred exclaimed at the absurdity of the information."

"Exactly," the fury affirmed sluggishly.

Fred shook his head in frustration. "If your master cannot break into the office, what makes you think we can?"

The furies laughed evilly. "Many reasons," but one is that your friend's life depends on it; isn't that enough motivation?" The fury leader asked, looking at his colleagues, who laughed impishly.

Silence befell the four as they contemplated their predicament.

"One more thing," the fury leader added. "Don't even think of warning anyone. for the sake of your dear friends," he warned.
