I, Severus Snape, returned back in time?

Severus Prince Snape had just seen the wildest things in his dreams, but what he saw today in all seriousness shook his very soul. He watched himself living through 38 miserable years, unable to stop or change ways in a way that he had wanted to. It was like watching a 3-d movie, but you were a character and could feel everything that the hero felt.

It started with his memories and slowly progressed on, years of bullying lead to the birth of insecurities and the death of lily broke him hollow. He was now just an hollow shell, only living because he had promised her, promised to protect Harry.

Snape stared into 'his' own memories with fear and anxiety. Is this what is going to become of him, an empty shell that lived without their lily?.
