Chapter 3 ~ Hogwarts

I went to bed shortly after the owl left only to wake up to the sun hitting my face making me groan before I sat up stretching. I looked at the clock we had that used to be Dudley's but he didn't want it anymore so it got placed in his old second bedroom to see that it was six in the morning. "Hmm I'm going to have to get used to being on summer break again..." I heard Harry groan when I said that so I smiled looking down at him from my top bunk. "Mind getting the ladder so I can get down brother??" He just smiled up at me before getting the ladder for me, we had decided to take turns with the bunks so we could share who's getting the ladder each time. 

Once he had it on the bed I climbed down happily mostly because since we came back from Diagon Alley we had pretty much been ignored by the Dursleys which made us happy. I immediately took a shower before we headed down to get something to eat. Dudley didn't like being in the same room as us, but it's a good thing we knew how to cook mostly because now Petunia didn't want to cook for us. We spent most of our time in our rooms going over our books for when we went to Hogwarts. I fell in love with Potions and the spells we would be learning, I just hoped we'd be good at it. Professor Snape sent me a few other books when I told him that I couldn't wait for his class since I loved it and had already read through his classes book three times. He just told me to either send them back when I was done or to return them to him at school which made me happy. I named my owl Kaito since I found out he was a boy while I named my kneazel Shina, I had played around with a lot of names to get them. While Harry named his owl Hedwig after finding out she was a girl, our pets seemed to get along really well, Shina loved laying on my shoulders.

The months passed by as we kept studying until it got close to time for us to go we knew we had to ask them to take us even though we didn't want them to. So Harry headed down towards the last day of August so he could ask Vernon to take us. Harry also told me that Vernon had thought he was being funny when Harry mentioned the ticket number. So I knew something was wrong which had me curious before I remembered that muggles couldn't see the passageway. "Ah! I forgot that the passage is pretty much invisible to muggles..." Harry nodded looking at me we both knew that we had to keep a straight face when we were dropped off so as not to give it away. So we finished packing everything away, well I did neatly while Harry just threw everything in there, except for our toiletries. We were planning on putting those away in the morning then we just waited for the night to come which was easy since we took all day to pack. We woke up really early the next day since we had to be there at eleven, when I looked at the clock it was five in the morning. We quickly took showers before making sure we had everything packed and ready, Harry didn't want to wear his uniform to the station. 

I wanted to but I knew that would make our aunt and uncle upset and they might refuse to take us then so I placed it close to the opening of my trunk. I placed some books I wanted to read there as well so I wouldn't be bored on the way there. I had made sure to hide the rest of the money Harry and I had gotten out of our vault so that our relatives wouldn't steal it from us. I had already reminded Harry to pretend to be upset when we didn't see our station so they wouldn't get suspicious about anything. I almost had to hold in a laugh when they loaded up our trolleys all happy like before taking us to Platform 9 and Platform 10. They left us there before they took off, we waited until we knew they were gone before we started laughing, I also remembered that Dumbledore had also given me instructions on how to get in but when we were about to go in I froze when I heard Molly's voice and looked back. 

I saw all of them coming, I could tell that they had seen us but we quickly entered into the tunnel following the introduction and my knowledge. We both came out just fine on the other side of the tunnel which had me smiling as I looked up at the huge train standing in front of us before we took off to get our seat. We managed to find one pretty easily but getting our trucks up there was hard I was about to drop Harry's trunk when helping hands appeared from no-where. "Need a hand?" I looked over to see two twin red-heads and immediately knew them as Fred and George before smiling. "Yes please!" They quickly came over before placing there hands on either side of ours and helped to push the trunk up into the over head storage. Then they turned around before grabbing my trunk and placing it up in its compartment smiling at us. I sighed glad that I had remembered to grab a pair of gloves so I could hide the S mark on my hand while I had been at Madam Malkin's. However there wasn't much I could do about Harry's mark on his forehead which the twins saw when Harry looked at them. 

"I'm Fred and this is George... blimey are you-??" I hide my hand behind me while Harry asked them about what they were asking about. "Harry Potter?" Harry just seemed to blush a little before nodding saying that it was him before the twins turned to me which had me sighing already knowing what they were going to ask. "Then you must be Serena Potter." I nodded looking at them not liking the attention before their mom called for them so they left the train to and went to her. We could hear them talking to her from our window but I had to smile when she told them not to ask about what we had seen as babies about Voldemort. Since they told her that we were on the train and their sister Ginny, asked if she could cone in and talk to us but was told no that we didn't need to be reminded of that. I on the other hand remembered everything since I had been reincarnated into this world with knowledge from the books. I also knew that they would be told not to ask us anything about it which I was grateful for, I really liked Mrs. Weasley. 

She then started talking to her children about behaving at school especially Fred and George which had me laughing especially with what she told them next. "Now, you two - this year, you behave yourselves. If I get one more owl telling me you've - you've blown up a toilet or -" I just smiled at that but I had to burst out laughing when they told there mom that it was a good idea to blow up a toilet and send the seat home to Ginny. It was shortly after that everyone else had to climb aboard to take off to Hogwarts and just like I thought I got bored quickly so I pulled out my advanced book on Potions which had Harry smiling at me. I had just got this book a week before we got here, I had sent back the other books I had borrowed, and was now enamored by this book. After a few minutes the door opened and there stood the second youngest red head, he asked if anyone was sitting in front of us. "No go ahead." He nodded his thanks before he sat down only to hear Shina start meowing wanting to get out so I stood up smiling at her. "Let me get changed first sweetie then I promise I'll let you out." She nodded before settling down while I grabbed out my uniform after putting my book back away. Then I headed out to the bathroom to get changed which didn't really take that long which surprised me. When I came back I could hear them talking about Voldemort it made no sense why people were scared to say his name. It only shows that you hear him if you don't say it which gives him more power so I don't know why people are scared to say it. 

Then once I had finished putting away my clothes the trolley showed up so Harry and I walked over to it and pretty much got one of everything with multiples of a few to try together. Ron just looked at us asking if we were hungry which had us smiling at him already knowing what we would say to him. "Starving." Although we had to laugh since we had said it at the same time which made us laugh about it. Harry opened a piece of candy that said it was chocolate frogs so he asked if it was real frogs. "No, but see what the card is?" We both liked at him confused before he started talking about the famous witches and wizards that are on the cards. Harry managed to actually get Dumbledore's card but I knew he would, I started pulling my favorites near me after I had gotten Shina out of her cage. Kaito was asleep or I'd pull him out, Shina pretty much curled up on my shoulders and didn't leave there while I ate the candy. Harry noticed that the picture on the card vanished so Ron told him that he couldn't expect him to hang around all day. "You know pictures in the muggle world don't move." He seemed surprised about that but I just retreated back into my books while he showed Harry something. I was happy my brother was finally getting some friends, I knew that I would make some as well when we got to Hogwarts. Then the door opened up again so I looked up to see a young boy about our age looking worried about something. "Sorry, but have you seen a toad at all?" I know we hadn't seen any toad in this compartment and I could see it on the others faces as well. "No I'm sorry I'm sure he'll turn up... have you checked compartment 5?" He shook his head but said he'd check it out which had me hopping he finds his pet then he took off. Shortly after he left a young girl with bushy brown hair showed up asking about the toad which had me sighing. That was when I noticed that Ron was doing a spell to turn his toad yellow but it didn't work but I had a feeling it wouldn't work. She told them that they should also get into there uniforms before she left the compartment leaving a surprised Harry. "What happened?" He looked like he snapped outta something before he turned to me smiling before he told me about how we were in books. I just smiled at him thinking that he was finally understanding that, I mean we had to be in books we defeated the dark lord. Then the boys went back to talking about random things which had me going back to my book already knowing Ron didn't like me to well. It was a little while later that the door opened up again to three kids two where like Dudley while the middle guy was skinny. He seemed like the leader of the other two he had platinum blonde hair and blue eyes, he seemed interested in only Harry. 

"Is it true? They're saying all down the train that Harry Potter's in this compartment. So it's you, isn't it?" Harry nodded but I could tell that Harry didn't really like him but I still haven't had a first impression of him yet but right now it wasn't good. "Oh this is Crabbe and this is Goyle." He said indicating the two behind him but it was hard to tell which was which so I just sighed not really caring. "And my names Malfoy, Draco Malfoy." Ron gave a slight cough which had me smiling at him putting my book down but it shifted Draco's attention to Ron. "Think my names funny do you? No need to ask who you two are. My father told me all the Weasley's have red hair, freckles, and more children than they can afford." I glared at him placing my book next to me while Shina growled at the boys at the door. "Wrong." He looked at me with disgust but I just ignored it smiling slightly knowing what was going to happen would severely embarrass him. "Allow me to introduce myself, I am Serena Potter I would say it's nice to meet you but its not." I said pulling Shina down from my shoulder to try and calm her down completely ignoring the now blushing Draco. He tried to shake Harry's hand but Harry refused since he had treated me badly plus Draco had told my brother he could help us make better friends than the Weasley's. I didn't really care when Harry told him that we could sort that out for ourselves which upset Draco more. "I'd be careful if I were you Potter's, unless you're a bit polite you'll go the same way as your parents. They didn't know what was good for them either. You hang around with riffraff like the Weasley's and that Hagrid, and it'll rub off on you." 

I got ticked when he said that, mostly because he had insulted my parents so I stood up placing Shina in Harry's lap before going over to Draco. I balled up my fists before letting it fly hitting him square in the mouth which knocked him into his two goons. Everyone in the room was stunned except Harry who knew how protective I am of my family. They pretty much left after trying to steal some food but Ron's rat, Scabbers, bit Goyles finger they took off once Scabbers let go. Then the girl from before, Hermione Granger, showed up again asking what happened. 

"Draco bad mouthed my family he got what he deserved." Harry just smiled at me as I sat back down next to him letting Shina jump back onto my shoulders. "She actually let him off easy considering the last person to insult our family she beat up so badly the guy wound up in the hospital." I blushed when they all looked at me shocked, I knew it was wrong but I didn't like anyone messing with my family no matter what.

Harry then told them about meeting Draco in Diagon Alley when we were getting our robes for Hogwarts. Then she said that we'd be reaching Hogwarts soon and that the boys should change into there robes after Ron mentioned about them being followers of Voldemort. I stepped out of the compartment after putting my book away along with putting the rest of my sweets into the pockets in my robes. "We will be reaching Hogwarts in five minutes time. Please leave your luggage on the train, it will be taken to the school separately." Then the train started to slow down when I was allowed back inside the compartment so I placed Shina back into her cage. "I'll get you out when I get to my dorm." She mowed at me before the train stopped and we all disembarked from it but smiled when I saw Hagrid. "Firs' years! Firs' years over here! All right there Harry? Serena?" I smiled up at him nodding before giving him a big hug glad to see him again after all this time.

"C'mon, follow me - any more firs' years? Mind yer step, now? Firs' years follow me!" We followed him slipping and stumbling through the mud down a step and narrow path. "Yeh'll get her firs' sight o' Hogwarts in a sec, jus' around this bend here." When we finally got around it I looked in awe at the beautiful castle that was Hogwarts and would be our home for the next year. "No more'n four to a boat!" I saw everyone getting into the boats so I climbed in with Harry, Ron, and Neville who was still upset about missing his toad. "Everyone in? Right then - FORWARD!" The board took off toward the castle which had me really happy since I was finally going to be learning magic! I would just have to try and get Draco to see the light so he wouldn't turn out like in the book which was a tragic past. Once we got to the castle we all climbed out of the boats and onto the ground before Hagrid lead us up to two giant doors. However he found Neville's toad for him which made him happy before Hagrid started knocking on the doors which opened to a witch dressed in green. I just kept smiling happy that I was finally going to be able to go to the one place I dreamed of ever since I was a little child in both of my lives. I couldn't wait to begin my days walking through Hogwarts, going to all my classes and learning all kinds if magic this was going to be a long and fun year. Especially with the little adventure we take at the end of the year to save Hogwarts and everyone.
