16. Monster Beast Forest

After exiting the auction house, Ya Fei introduced Xiao Feng to all the people responsible for their security during the journey. Xiao Feng found that out of 20 people hired for their protection there were 4 Dou Ling, 15 Da Dou Shi and 1 Dou Wang. The Dou Wang is sent by the Miteer Family for protection. After the initial introduction, all of them went into their own carriage. Xiao Feng's carriage was right next to Ya Fei. After 3 days of continuous travel, all the items were successfully delivered in Cibei town and Xiao Feng verified all the herbs that were sent in return for the items. Everything went smoothly.

The journey from Cibei town to Wutan City requires to cross a part of the Monster Beast Forest which is known for its dangerous terrain and vicious monster beasts. Xiao Feng and the others entered the forest where they have to spend a night before they can continue their journey. Soon night time arrived, and a camp was set up. Xiao Feng sat alone under a tree eating his food. After some time, a beautiful woman wearing a black veil sat beside him. She was Ya Fei.

" Mister, why are you sitting here alone?"

" I am used to it. Why is Miss Ya Fei not sitting with them?"

" I also like less crowded places. Um... Mister, can I ask you a question? "

Immediately everyone was alerted and all 18 people stood in front of the camp looking at the direction from where the knife was thrown.
