17. Assassins

The Dou Wang stood in front followed by the 4 Dou Lings followed by 13 Da Dou Shi. They all stood in a way to cover the camp and protect Ya Fei. Xiao Feng stood beside her in a black robe with a relaxed expression which can't be seen due to his hood. Suddenly more than a dozen people emerged from the bushes.

All these people wore a black dress with a mask on their face. Among them 4 people were Dou Wang! The majority of the rest were Dou Ling with very few Da Dou Shi. "Hmph... Don't even dream about it. Everyone protect young Miss. Kill !", Old Lei snorted.

With that both of the parties began to attack. The 4 Dou Wang in black surrounded Old Lei and douqi instantly covered their whole body. Old Lei also used douqi wings to fly into the sky to meet them with pale brown douqi covering his body. It can be seen that the Dou Wang in black had wood and fire attribute douqi while Old Lei had earth attribute douqi.

Ya Fei and Xiao Feng were standing below, one with an anxious expression while the other relaxed. Xiao Feng could see the people on the ground were using different dou techniques to fight and each time they will use a technique, a coloured douqi will flare up. This made the whole field covered with flares of different coloured douqi.

In the sky, the two people with wood attribute douqi summoned several vines to restrict Old Lei while the other two used fire palm to strike. Old Lei skillfully avoided the incoming vines and used earth spikes to cut them off. The fire palm was blocked by his earth shield. But due to having similar strength, both parties retreated after the confrontation. Old Lei retreated 10 steps while the others only retreated 3 steps.
