In one of the unsc ship dock, or more specifically, the only one that was built. For in the later years, the the one in charge of constructing buildings and future structures was more keen on focusing in keeping the security of these one and only dock at the moment.
Upon sight of the ships dock was only less then a two hundred people. All of them were a majority of migrants from the twenty first century. While in the other hand was mostly filled with southeners.
Lastly were soldiers, or to be more precise, national guards. In other words guardswoman and guardsmen, as that is the name they are commonly known by their superiors and the president of the United state.
"So, who exactly are these people again?" A us national guardswoman says whispering to her colleagues.
"I've already told you about them before. Did you not get it?" A fellow soldier replied back.
"Sadly not. As you can see, I was busy trying to deal with the migrants." She said in reply slightly irked by her newly made friend.
"You've played games before, haven't you?" Her friend Kyle asked.
"Yeah, I have. What about it?" Haley said questioning him.
"Ok, that's good. You've heard of a video game series called halo, right?" Kyle said looking her way.
"Now that you said it... I think I have played it before, when I was like, nine or. No, nine I believe is the only time I had ever played the game. The other one, wait! Which year did the previous one came out?" Asked Hayley merely lost on the fact she didn't remember when halo 4 released.
"November six, two thousand and twelfth, that'd be the year and month it came." Answered Kyle.
"Yeah that one. It is the only one I have not played before. Halo one, two and three. They was the three main halo games I've played." Hayley said to him as she tried her best to remember the last time she'd ever went back to the three previous sci-fi game series.
"I guess you didn't know about reach and the halo wars as well?" Inquired Kyle figuring that Hayley forgotten about the other versions of halo.
"Jeeze, I really am getting old... Uh, I'd say that I might have played before, not that I remember it. Im sorry." Responded Hayley letting out a deep sigh of relief.
"That's no problem at all. I do not blame you, there's other people out there who hasn't heard of it, nor play it." Kyle told her understanding of her statement.
"Yeah, it's my fault as well... Although I have read the books, are you into books as well?" Hayley says head slightly tilted to the left as she stared at him.
"Yeah I have. Gotta say, I'm glad to meet another person that reads the books, and not just the game." Commented Kyle following with a light tap on hayley's shoulder.
"I agree with you on that. Bu-Oh, we got a visitor!" Hayley says as she and Kyle sees three individuals walking towards their way.
One was a unsc marine, the other was of a spartan named Adrianna-111 and the other was a aid worker.
"Which one of you of the twenty first century, is the highest ranking national guard member of the United state!?" The marine said speaking out loud for everyone else to hear.
One of the man dressed in the same uniform as both Hayley and Kyle stepped out with his right arm raised. "I am sir! Corporal Hansen, of the US national guard sir!" The guardsmen said responding in a soldier'ly tone.
"At ease soldier. No need to be doing thar extra stuff. We're all people here... Now, would you please tell me, how eleven national guards, that belongs to the United state ended up here on vahrian?" The marine asked.
"Uhm, well sir. I can't really explain in a way you'll believe me, but a gate of some sort appeared in the middle of nowhere in the Texas and Mexico border... I don't know how it or what it was at first, but then a few minutes after one of our guys tried to learn what it really was, until a wave of creatures and unknown monsters came busting through the gate and started attacking anyone they set their eyes on. Me and a couple of others did the best we could to secure the gate, buy the only problem was that we were only a few going up against waves of invaders." Hansen said doing his best in explaining their end of the story to the marine.
"Well corporal, I can't say I feel bad. But I will not lie to you and your fellow guardsmen and guardswomen. We can't help you yet. But, seeing as how you guys are from the twenty first century, y'all are welcome to stay with us for the time being. You know, until we figured out a way to contact your superiors. Unless yall don't want to?" The marine says telling the corporal the best solution for him and the others.
Corporal Hansen turned to look at his fellow national guardsmen and woman. All of them gave him a nod of agreement thar simply means yes to Hansen. He then turned his head back to face the marine and responded.
"We will be happy to stay with you all sir... What can we do to assist ya'll in any way?" Inquired Hansen in formerly way.
"Well, I don't think we have that much of a problem. But, I think yall should eat up first. Then we'll explain to you all the task you guys will be getting for the next couple of hours." Answered the marine.
"Aye sir. Wait, buy what about the migrants and these weird people?" Asked the corporal a bit baffled on the situation they are in.
"Well, we already got that part covered. Only issue is their language barrier... But! On the bright side, I've brought a spartan. These guys and girls speak every language, I just hope the migrants aren't too scared of the big woman." The marines says receiving a sudden flick of a finger from Adrianna.
"I wouldn't listen to this little man if I were you soldier. But he is right about me being a big lady... Does you or anyone of your guys and girls understand a little bit of spanish, russian and chinese?" Adrianna says in an inquiry.
"I understand chinese... I'm half Caucasian. I could help with thar part. Though I don't know about the Russian part." Hayley says answering the spartan with a quick hand raised.
"Good, I want you to come with me. Your friend is welcome, we would need someone to help with the people as well." Said Adrianna as she and the two national guard soldiers strode off to helpntge migrants.
The aid worker that was standing next to the marines folder and tac-pad in her hand. "What of the southeners sir? What do we do with them?" Inquired the woman.
"I have one of chief daenaria and her husband's man speak with them... The leader seems more familiar with them."
__________
Kyle could not believe his eyes. In his head he was mentally in a silent breakdown at the sight of the large figure of Adrianna standing beside him.
Of all the things he's seen in TV series and video game, not once had he expected to see one of them being alive, like really alive. Previously he was a bit baffled by how large the armored person was, he thought she was a man at first, until the said person introduced itself to be a woman, and a very tall one at that.
A moment of silence passes on as those of the migrants were all looking at the Spartan direction as they figured she and the other unsc marines were in charge.
"Hello people, can you understand me?" Adrianna says speaking in Spanish so that those who spoke the language could understand her.
"Si, Madam. We do, can you please tell us what is going on!?" Spoke one of the migrant family.
"We haven't really come down tona conclusion yet sir. But I can tell you, that we the unsc are hoping to contact the place where you cane from, you know the earth. It is where you all originated from, we will have to speak with your leaders to see what their decision on you guys are!" Adrianna says responding loud and clear for them to hear.
"No, señorita... Please, you can't take us back. The place we came from is very dangerous, my familia is not safe. Not in our home!" A mother said pleading with her heart hoping the soldiers and the big robot looking woman would have a change of heart for her and her family.
"Relax Ms. I'm not the one with decision to do that... Besides, I do not think the captain would come down to that decision." Replied Adrianna succeeding in at least calming the mother down.
"Oh, ok... Then can I ask something. If you people aren't sending us back, then how will we survive in these world. It is unlike the planet I'm from. It's not earth!" The mother said as she and those who understood her agreed with what she said knows that this was not their world.
"Well, it's pretty clear isn't it. We aren't sending you all back to earth, just not yet." Adrianna replied dismissively.
"Alright. Then if you don't mind, then can you help my daughter. She has a severe sickness, it has gotten worse cause I had no medicine for her. All that made it exceedingly worse was being chased through the seas in three straight days." The mother said as there were no lies in her words.
"Yeah, of course... We will help as best we can. I reckoned she might have gotten sicker due to you all being stuck in the ocean for three days." Adrianna answered as she understood very well how younger children's would be more susceptible to illnesses.
"Who are these people!?" The mother said holding onto her child when one of the unsc aid workers halted in his steps.
"Aid workers. You've heard of doctors before, haven't you?" Adrianna says to the woman.
"Sorry, Im just worried for her. Please, help her!" The mother pleaded as she allowed the aid worker to do his job.
"May I know what your name is Ms?" The aid worker asked as he began examining the young girl's illnesses.
"My name is selene! Tell me doctor, how is my daughter doing!?" Said a concerned selene.
The aid worker hadn't responded to her firstly for he was more drawn in checking behind and inside the inner ear of the girl, followed by that was when the man brought out a miniature flashlight the size of a small pen, afterward he started by talking to the young girl to follow her gaze as he moves the light from side to side.
"Ok selene, i'd say you and your daughter are lucky to have made it here on time. She seems to have only be trying to hold herself together from getting even worse sea sickness... Luckily, we aren't like the twenty first century people. Our technology can help beat the sickness your daughter has." The aid was worker says earning a handshake of approval from the woman.
"Oh gracias, you have no idea how much these meant to me." Selene says pleased to hear that. "How long until she is fully recovered?"
"I'd say for less than a few hours. But, if you want her to get better very. Then I suggest you all get some grubs, y'all look like you haven't eaten in a while." The man told her.
"But where will we be eating?" Selene asked, for she was quite unfamiliar with the place she and the new arrivals is in.
The man turned to look at the spartan and spoke through their come, then after a few moments later he and adrianna turned to face the rest of the southeners.
"I'll let you have this one spartan. Take care." The man says as he left to help anyone who was in need of his assistance.
Before Adrianna spoke, she first clapped her hands very loudly for everyone to hear as she succeeded in gaining their attentions.
"Okay people, I've just got words from the captain that you've all been given the green light to be taken under our care... But for that to happen, you would all need to listen to everything we say and do. Do I make myself clear!" Adrianna says loud enough to where those who understands her Spanish all nodded profusely while some responded with a simple term of yes.
The southeners on the other hand, Adrianna knows that they were obviously not from earth and that they are originally from this very dirt she stood on. So she thanks the local towns A.I. for downloading a language translator on her audio coms.
"And to you southeners, you've all also been given the same offer by the captain... We will be providing medical cares for any of those who is sick, same with provisions such as foods and a room to sleep in. Though I advise you all to be still for it will not be the usual cabin that you all have been sleeping in." The spartan told them all as she scoured each and everyone of the migrants and southeners and uttered one more statement clearly. "Do I make myself clear people!"
After she had said that everyone of the refugees all agreed with her declaration. Some scared to oppose her for they were afraid of the outcome if a single one of them said something foolish.
That is until a men who seems to be the leader exited a crowd of people and strolled forth.
A marine who was standing next to Adrianna stepped forth as he was going to halt the old man in his trek, but was stopped by the spartan.
"Calm yourself soldier, I can handle this." Adrianna says as she received a nod from him.
"Ms. If you do not mind, would it be possible if a can speak with your leader." Ser Allen said in an inquiry to the woman.
"I'll see what I can do at the moment. But right now I can't do it. The captain is busying himself conforming in a meeting of importance." Adrianna answered as she had received words from HQ that one of the twenty first century peoples have come in contact with the unsc back when she and grey team captured the two prisoners.
"I see, thank you madam." Ser Allen says respectively as he and the refugees were then being led to a different place where a large flatted building is located.
"Adrianna." Someone said through the Spartan's coms.
"This Sierra-111. I hear you doctor." Adrianna says answering Haley's call.
"I need you to report back in my building, there will not be any need for you to find the rest of grey team. They've already been informed by me." Halsey said to her through the other side.
"Copy that doctor... Marine." Adrianna said speaking to the young man.
The marine simply turned to her having to look up at how tall she was then him. "Yes ma'am!"
"You are in charge of helping these people out, I'll let you take hand." Says Adrianna as she left for the doctor.
__________
Doctor Catherine Halsey
P.O.V.
Sitting in her chair, Halsey was doing all she can to read through the numbers of paperwork that are now on her desk.
She set a piece of paper down and rubbed her forehead out of disbelief of what it is she had just gotten from it.
"Is something of the matter ma'am?" A female voice spoke in wonder what it was that has bothered the doctor.
Halsey sighed to herself and peered up at where she could see eleven armored figures. One of which with the serial number zero one seven stood next to spartan jai sierra zero zero six.
"Yes spartan, it's not that much of a problem." Halsey said halflying.
Skeptical of the doctor, asta-017 could see right through Halsey's lies. She could've questioned her on that but refrain from doing so in a negative way. So she asked in a more informative way.
"With all due respect ma'am. I know that you arent telling us the truth... What is it that you've just read through that paper?" Asked asta with a slight stern look on her face.
Halsey set her hands down and looked up at the spartan without a hint of concern across her face. "It's about trevalyan. The people there are questioning why they aren't being told the truth... I'm afraid that someone smart enough had hacked into one of the unsc base and stolen an information on our status in being stuck here on this unknown space. Or universe that is." Halsey said responding to asta's inquiry.
"Has the one responsible for the hack been subdued. Or do you need us to deal with these individual?" Michael-120 spoke earning a few looks of obscurity from his team.
"That isn't really necessary spartan. There is no need for you nor anyone of grey team to go after the poor kid... He has already been dealt with by an Oni official. And no, he's not dead. He is just being held up in detention by Mendez and the others." Halsey said to Michael a little worried for how most of her Spartan's main cure for transgression is to kill and answer later.
"Alright, as long as it isn't a nuisance to us... We've already dealt enough by being stuck in these unknown Space." Commented Tom-B292.
"Agreed." Added the quiet member of the group who was none other then noble 6 himself...
"Doctor. What really is the reason you've called us all here for?" Inquired lucy-B091.
"Yeah, what she said." Added tom arms folded as he veered at halsey on the issue.
"It's about one of the gate." Answered halsey seeing that grey team and her spartan-2's were all looking at her questioningly. And so she spoke once more. "A second one to be precise. Remember the refugees."
"Yes. We've had less then two hundred on our shores. A vast amount of them are migrants from the twenty first century. Only the other numbers are southeners, as the natives calls them." Answered jai.
"Good to know your already filled in on that... But, one other reason I'm bringing this up is because we need to secure this second gate. Make sure that no other kingdoms or lords would take it." Uttered halsey for she knew full well that if anyone from vahrian claims the second gate, then she was afraid they would try invading the land from the other side.
"And what if someone from the other side tried coming here by force?" Jai spoke questioning the doctor. "How will we deal with them?"
"Ask them nicely." Quipped Michael.
"As much as I like to agree with you spartan, that wouldn't be so easy. The twenty first century folks from the other side would not want just stand by. Knowing how they can be, they will surely try negotiating in a different way into entering these world" Commented Halsey earning a look of agreement from both Lucy and six.
"Then, what do you suppose the unsc should do?.. Let the old on through?" Michael asked wondering what other suggestions the doctor has that he does not know.
"We, the unsc are the only ones familiarized with issues like the gates michael... For example, we humans hadn't figured out anything about sailing onto the unknown, yet here we are, in the middle of nowhere." Halsey remarked as she referred to vahrian and it's space.
"You are right about that doctor. Only problem is, is that our past counterparts would probably want to know who we are once they find out about us." Robert-025 added in in a quip.
"I'd say that we're a little bit too late for that robert."
Halsey tilted her head forward where she saw as adrianna walked into her office. Though the spartan wasn't alone, as three other individuals followed in behind her.
When the three arrivals walked in, each of them was shocked to see about eight heavily armored spartans, all of which were looking their way.
Haley on the inside hadn't expected this kind of outcome. Not once had she wanted to meet a celebrity, but the spartans were of no exception. She was very close to fan-girling infront of them, however she knew that it wasn't really helpful and so she spoke after adrianna.
"Uhm, hi hello. It is nice to meet you all. My name is haley yarand of the us national guard, this here behind me is my colleague kyle." Haley says as she finished with speaking the guardsmen name.
Kyle brought his right arm up in response to that as he introduced himself. "Hello, my name's Kyle peliran. I'm sure I don't have any need to tell where I'm from." He said as haley had done that for him.
The two had expected a response from the spartans but gotten none, that is until both guardsman and guardswoman laid eyes on the doctor. The two of them in an instant understood who it is that is sitting in the chair.
They had no need to ask who she was for halsey was the very reason why the character on the face of the video game series called halo existed. In other words, she was the soul reason why master chief, sierra-117 was born.
Halsey set there quietly while acknowledging the two US soldiers, then she veered at the other person, an old looking man beared in a highly tattered and worn out gear.
"And who might you be?" She said asking the old man.
"Greetings madam. I am ser allen, it is a pleasure to meet the leader of these sky people." Ser Allen answered as he bowed his head slightly.
"The pleasure is all mine... But, why sky people?" Halsey inquired wondering how someone from the south knew of the unsc.
"News of your people travels fast madam... Of how I know of you and your people, it is because I once witnessed one of your warriors fought in an arena." Ser Allen responded nonchalantly.
"People, arena?" Halsey uttered as she knew the word warrior meant that the man was referring to her spartans. "Tell me, who was these warrior of mine that you saw fighting in the arena?"
"He wore armor like that of your warriors in this very room... The color of his armor is dark green, weapons and guns unlike any that I've saw. I've once met him and wanted to know who he was. He answers with spartan." The man said as he was cut off mid sentence.
"Spartan... May I know what other name these spartan calls himself?" Grace sierra-093 said asking the elderly man in a respectful way.
"He goes by the ser-name of Five." Ser Allen answered.
Every single spartan two's in the room were shock to hear that name, all except jai and grey team. But the only one who was more surprise to hear it was that of halsey.
The doctor could not believe it, no she just could not. She sets down her tac pad and looked straight at ser Allen in a none threatening way.
"Five, are you sure you've met him in person Mr. Allen?" Inquired Halsey.
"Yes madam. I am simply being truthful with you all." Ser Allen says hoping these guys would surely believe his words.
The two national guards from the twenty first century figured that these five was someone of importance to the doctor and spartans. Haley glanced at kyle both uttering words of inquiry and veneration between one another.
"Kyle, you've read the books... Tell me where it has mentioned these five person?" Haley asked as she hadn't heard of any spartans that goes by the name based on a number.
"I don't know, I haven't picked up a halo book in a long time. It's been a while since I've seen it?" Responded Kyle in a whisper.
"That can't be true. The last time I heard of koa was when he detonated a nuclear bomb inside a covenant fleet of ships!" Asta-017 Commented.
"Last I heard of the big man was in 2531. That is until john and maria informed me of his passing" Added robert-025 arms crossed as he was quite in shock to hear the sudden news.
Grace walked forth hands on the table and powered down at the doctor. "Halsey, if what the old man says is true. Then let us go get him, koa can't be that far."
"That is assuming we can find him." Halsey responded, knowing how much the Spartans wanted to leave and go to find koa. "If Sierra-005 was truly alive, he would have arrived at the UNSC base right away."
Grace and Robert as well as that of grey team, all the spartan two's wanted the same thing. And that is to leave at the moment and find their brother.
Something within grace had brought back a sense of hurt. She reminiscing back to their cadet years. For previous times she had lost herself during training due to being one of the slowest Spartan's. But, that didn't mean she gave up and continued on her way, even with her body straining to keep up with her heart.
But at the time, Koa was like a big brother that she and the cadets had to always look after. Despite being the youngest Spartan-2 at five years old, while every single cadet was six years old, Koa would always back her up in certain extreme situations..
When once she and the others arrived on earth upon hearing the news, john-117 along with maria-062 filled them in on status of koa. It was during that time that grace and green team couldn't bring themselves to believe it.
After kurt-051 sacrificed himself to kill the didact and majority of his army, green team mourned his death by fighting and hunting down important assets. Until one day they received words of koa-005 who had died two week afterwards.
Immediately both she and green team rushed back to earth in hopes of seeing if what mariah said was true. And sadly, as they feared it became true.
First kurt then second was koa. Her and the rest of green team rushed to find his body, believing his armor would've at least keep his entire body intact so that they could bring him back home. Unfortunately after a couple hours of searching, it never came to be.
But, right now after receiving words of confirmation from ser allen, she wanted to go and find koa, and she understood that asta was in on it too.
"Let us go find him, doctor! We don't have much to do around here other then doing side missions... Besides, there are other Spartans up there in Trevalyan. "They can respond to requests from headquarters." Grace told Halsey that she was thinly considering breaking the doctor's answer if she said anything other than agreeing with her.
"Look, it's not that I don't want him back, it's just that spartan-005 Will probably not come back anytime sooner." Halsey told grace as the doctor herself received looks of inquiries from the Spartans including the old man and the two national guard troopers.
"Then what is doctor? What else is it that you know that we don't?" Asked Jai as he questioned her take on the matter at hand.
Halsey sighed deeply to herself, hoping that this would not happen anytime soon. However, she understands that she will never be able to escape the things for which she is responsible. For what she will say next might put a large impact of surprises on her spartans.
"Because of his family. If we bring him back, his mother and miranda along with the other relatives might demand us to bring them down here to see him for themselves." Responded halsey fearing how koa would react to meeting his mother and relatives.
Although she also knows that it's not that five would not want to meet them. It is how the family would react to seeing who he has become because of her.
"Wait, you've mentioned miranda. What is it about the admiral that you haven't told us ma'am?" Inquired asta-017 as she was pondering on the issue.
"It's about their childrens. Miranda and koa had fallen for each other before." Halsey says answering her. But what she actually said was what caught most of the Spartans off guard.
"Well I'll be damn! I've never thought the big guy had in him." Tom exclaimed nonchalant as he too was quite shock at hearing that news.
"How many?" Robert asked out of curiosity.
"Three, triplets... But that's not what worries me. What I'm concerned of is how the three kids and miranda might react towards koa." Halsey says heart beating slightly faster then normally.
"Tell us doctor. We've dealt with worse news before. Surely we can handle this one." Lucy responded.
"Koa, he has forgotten them. The reason is that his memories of Miranda and the children have been erased." Halsey replied, tapping the side of her head and then continued speaking. "In other words, erased permanently... Meaning he won't know miranda other then her being a captain. His kids. I'm afraid they wouldn't know who their father is."
"Why!" Haley spoke up earning the attention of the Spartans and ser allen. "Why did you do it."
"Haley, stop!" Kyle said trying to halt his fellow guards-woman from making matters worse.
"No kyle, I will not." Haley said angrily as she shoved kyle's arm down and then looked halsey straight in the eyes from where she stood. "I thought that the famous doctor Catherine halsey wasn't that evil, nor was she ever sadistic person. But to take children and replace them with clones, just for their parents to find out they died of some bullshit sickness. Whereas you then forced them to train day by day and undergoing extremely dangerous experiments where a good percentage had died of augmentation... But no, what makes me sick is you had one of them erase their memories of his children and wife!... So please excuse me if I'm dropping the bomb, tell me why you did it!"
"Haley, stop. We are stuck here in this world, and you are literally speaking down on the very person that could help us return back home." Kyle told her as he could sense that the Spartan's were about to close in on them.
"No, it's alright soldier. Let her be." Uttered Halsey as she was quite keen on finding out how this young woman knew of Oni and her dark secret about the spartan 2 program.
"Are you sure ma'am?" Replied Kyle as he received a simple nod from the doctor.
"Ms. Haley am I right?"
"Yes." Answered Haley.
"Good. There are many reasons why I had to erase koa's memories of his kids... Even Miranda agreed to it, though it took her a few years to bear that decision, trust me. She was the one who's had to overcome it the hardest out of all of us. And believe it or not, I told him about it. Surprisingly, he did not deny the offer. Five, I mean or koa that is was only able to be a father for one year. Something that I'm very proud for about him." Says Halsey recalling back to when koa had last held his three children.
Haley stood there overcoming the hate she had for Halsey. She wasn't a huge fan of the doctor, even when she first read the books about halo, about when she wanted to learn of the master chief and the Spartan's. Though, she couldn't help but bring herself to listen in on what Halsey has to say as she senses that there was a bigger reason on why these spartan called koa had his memories erased.
"Then why did you really do it for him. Why did you agreed to it when you could've deny him from doing so?" Haley questioned lessening her anger towards the doctor.
"It was for the children's protection, their safety was both koa and Miranda's first priority. If koa had continued to live with his family, he would only put their life in danger." Halsey says earning a chuckle from Haley.
"Danger, that's nothing to him. He's a spartan." Haley spoke fully aware of how capable Halsey's Spartan's are.
"Spartan or not. They aren't invincible, but that doesn't mean their easy to kill... The main reason why the decision of having his memories erased is because possible attacks on Miranda and the kids. Trust me, Spartan's have a lot of enemies that would've taken any chance at killing his wife and kids. The other, is a certain group of backstapping people who would've done anything to secure their plan from failing."
"Who?" Added Haley in wonder on who these people are.
"Oni." Halsey responded, causing both Haley and Kyle to become increasingly concerned.
"Forgive me ma'am. But why would oni be so interested in one spartan, when there's a whole army of them out there?" Questioned haley.
"It is because that sierra-005 is immuned to the flood. Especially since he had told oni that he had his body reengineered by a living forerunner, making him nearly as tall as Kurt and another eight foot five spartan. Which means it made him far more capable then an average super soldier. That Ms. Haley is why Oni favored koa as their killing machines... So imagined what Oni will do if they find out about his kids." Halsey said having to slow her heart beat at a normal pace due to her becoming slightly angry.
"They'll probably try experimenting on them." Said Haley understanding where the doctor was coming from.
"And what of Miranda ma'am. What will she do once she finds out that these spartan koa is alive?" Asked Kyle.
"Don't you worry about that. I'm sure once Miranda learns that koa is alive, she'll probably head down here from trevalyan to see him." Halsey answered as she opened a cabinet and brings out an ice coffee for a sip.
Jai stood by, at first he was about to ceased the young woman from questioning Halsey any further. But after she had asked Halsey about the issue at hand he halted in his attempt and chose to listened in on the two of them.
But to hear that koa was not only dead, but to be immuned to the flood was something else. Then secondly was his kids, and it was from there on that Jai couldn't allow anything to happen to the kids. Which he assumed that koa would've appreciated a lot.
"Halsey, what of koa's mother and siblings. Do you think we should tell them about five being alive... It's the least we could do?" Asked Jai.
"No, I will notify Sandra Lopez and her children. Let her rest; she is been through enough." Answered Halsey because she could not afford to put Sandra through another roller coaster ride.
"Yes ma'am." Jail responded.
"But, I will not let koa be out there, not again. Grace." Halsey said calling out to her.
"Yes ma'am!" answered grace.
"You, Sara and Robert will be sent to find koa. And grey team, I've got an important mission for the six of you." Halsey says as she then filled them on their task ahead of them.
