Here we were, celebrating the end of our student lives. "She'd be proud of you, y'know?" Renjun smiled at me before proceeding to tease me about my struggles with moving on.

I rolled my eyes before grabbing a drink. "Here's to what could've been." I said before drinking.

Honestly, I should be thankful. The fact that she slapped me back to life and reality made all of this possible.

I now knew my worth and I learnt not to rely on somebody else for validation and acknowledgement.
