My hell became our heaven the moment I met you. The demonic faces I saw on other people disappeared when I saw your smile. My ears, who've only ever heard insults and judgment, finally heard what music sounded like.

You became my everything in the blink of an eye and I didn't even notice. I fell in love with you even when I was unwilling to love. You became the reason why I'm still here.

I guess we were too young; too stupid, too naive. Even if I were to claim that I love you, what will that do? Will that bring back time and send you back to my arms?

Despite not wanting it, I still see you every now and then. You never see me, though. You've grown quite busy over the years, working and loving somebody new.
