" I didn't even know that I had this personality of pride yet I created the Aura of Pride." When Claude said that Elise looked at him like asking are you serious ?

' I can clearly see how prideful you are yet you yourself didn't recognise it ?!" Elise thought to herself.

What she said was true. Even when Claude was just a child he used to hide his emotions because he didn't want to show anyone that he was weak. His wanting to not show his weakness is his Pride in a way.

" Let's start training. In this training we are just going to spar until 2 o'clock. The reason is you already know everything about swordsmanship at least till master rank and maybe even better than me." When Claude said that she was better than she humphed in pride but his next sentence crumbled her pride.

" But knowing everything is completely different than practically using it. For example, can you tell me if a young evolved beast fought against an older evolved beast who would win ?" Claude asked.

" The older evolved beast." Elise said.

" Why ?" Claude asked.

" Because he has something which is called ex..." Elise forgot that complex word.

" Experience " Claude completed her with a smile.

" Yeah that." Elise said with a sheepish smile.

" Do you know what that is ?" Claude asked.

".... I didn't even know how to spell it. How do you expect me to know what it is ?" Elise looked at him as it he is dumb.

" The time they have put into accomplishing something." Claude continued with an annoyed tone.

" They are young, that's why they don't know how to use their abilities compared to the older ones who have been using that ability don't know for how many years."

" In your case you are experienced in using a technique. You can use any particular technique till master rank perfectly."

" What I want you to have now is experience in practically using it. I want you to know how to use those techniques like the back of your hand. This will also sharpened your survival instincts." Claude said and picked up a sword.

He and Elise fought till 2 o' clock without any break. Claude sometimes allowed her to attack while sometimes beat her up. He was also giving her pointers from time to time. He didn't give her a single minute of break. He healed her whenever she was injured and asked her to fight him.

He was also telling her how many times he would have killed her in that particular time limit. He tasked her to avoid as many times as possible getting killed by him.

' She is not a fast learner like Eren but whatever she learns she perfects it at that moment. Even though it will take her longer than anyone else, she will become a monster once she reaches that goal.' Claude thought.

' Eren is not like her. He only remembers something and tries to use it as practically as possible. This gives him fast results but at the same time he faces various obstacles which are hard to be overcome. Yet his relentless will gives him an upper hand.' Claude concluded.

After 2 o'clock Elise said that she was about to die. Claude chuckled at her childish behaviour but decided to stop as too much stress on the body in a single day is not a good thing. Claude had lunch with Elise who fell asleep after taking the last bite.

Claude went to look for Alex but he seemed too busy as he sended a servant to inform Claude. Claude decided that time was too precious to waste that's why he started reading the book about Katana techniques he got from the Orcs.

After reading the book for a bit of time Claude decided to use it practically.

' The biggest reason why Katana is better than swords is because it was made to follow a set of techniques and discipline. You will find Katana useless without any particular techniques or discipline to follow.' Claude continued.

' Unlike swords, which were made to cut and pierce, katana was meant to ignore all the phenomena which can be considered as obstructions in swordsmanship. Like the opposition to wind etc.'

' There are three different disciplines in this book or more like three different levels of the same technique.'

' The best results can be seen in the last level of the technique. Katana techniques also affect a particular organ of your body if you master the technique. This technique enhances the thought process of the person who is trying to master it. If you are able to master these techniques completely then you will be able to think of hundreds of solutions in a few seconds according to this book.'

' So the name of this technique is Blue Flames technique. Quite a cheesy name but what can you expect from ogres, I guess.'

' The level one of the techniques is to learn these 13 sword moves along with the movements. You can't learn the second level which includes the use of mana as long as you have not mastered the first level thoroughly and you have become a sword saint.' Claude finally concluded.

After that Claude kept practicing the first movement for about an hour or so. Every single soldier glanced at Claude from time to time due to his weird but unique sword as well as his movements.

" A Katana I see." Suddenly a familiar voice was heard by Claude.

Claude turned around to look at the direction of the sword but just when he turned around he felt something pointy touching his chin. Claude

became attentive and paid close attention to what seemed like a spear.

After a few seconds he took a step back and pushed the spear away from his chin with his sword.

" Hmm, I guess you really have learned how to fight and survive rather than follow discipline and techniques." The person said. When Claude looked at the face of this person he recognised him, Alex.

" Why did you do that ?" Claude asked.

" Oh, it was just a surprise." Alex said with an angelic smile.

" Don't make me laugh. I felt killing intent coming from you." When Claude said that, the smile on Alex's face became wider and his eyes opened wide in surprise.

" You sure are someone trained by that bastard." Alex said.

" Who ?" Claude asked.
