Chapter 28: City On Ruins

After tens of thousands of passages appeared in the ten planes of life, Immediately, in the unowned domain, they also appeared randomly.

Accept chaos and you will gain freedom; become one of us; and spread chaos to the gods' domain.

Our intention was full of righteousness. We only wanted everyone to gain the freedom that they were supposed to have.

Chaos was something to be feared. Chaos didn't follow any rules; it was doing whatever it wanted. Chaos is something uncontrollable.

Even allied chaotic creatures were unpredictable, so most of the creatures treated them as enemies, even if they could be allied.

If they were allies today, they can be enemies tomorrow. If they can be enemies tomorrow, they can be allies on another day.

Besides, whenever they go, chaos will spread. They were no different from natural disasters that brought destruction.

Creatures who brought natural disasters were all treated as evil.

After the residents saw that, they stopped rioting, but inside their hearts they hoped that those ships were enough to kill the invaders.

The main guns of those ships aimed and shot at the chaotic creatures who were preparing to descend and attack the city below them.

As the beams of light shot from the muzzle of the main gun, the residents felt as if their hearts were in their throats.

When those beams of light hit them, they were killed in an instant. Not even a single cell of their bodies remained.

The rioting residents immediately calmed down and began cheering after seeing the invaders get killed in an instant.

However, the next scene before them made their hearts cold. Chaotic creatures keep coming out of the portal as if there was no end.

The number of the chaotic creatures that were killed before was only several thousand. Not even 1/10 of their total population.

Battling with the seemingly endless wave of chaotic creatures, the energy level of the spaceships was depleting, visible to the naked eye.

The less energy they had, the less effective their performance was.

The chaotic creatures took this opportunity to attack them, which resulted in bringing down several ships.

The cities was slowly turning into a ruins, due to their battles. However, that only applied to the small sized cities.

The medium sized ones weren't on dire situation as they were.

This was happening across the domain's tens of planets.
