(My computer broke a few weeks ago, and just now I bought a new one. I have returned. Maybe.)

When Red Eyes entered the sewer the first thing he thought was how nasty it was. The smell was already bad for a regular human, but for him, with his enhanced sense of smell, it was almost unbearable. He reached up to cover his nose, but he was wearing a helmet which made him feel silly.

He was not like regular nasty goblins and he liked to be clean.

"Nasty."

He checked the straps of the small shield he took from Goblin Slayer's many spares. With that done he began to walk into the sewer for his contract. As he could see in the dark he did not need a torch so he kept his eyes and ears peeled for his prey.

He did not have to search long as his prey was coming toward him. A pair of Giant Rats were charging his way. He stepped forward and rushed toward them without a hint of fear. He clenched his hand around his short sword in his right hand and his dagger in his left.

The rats squealed as they thought he was giving himself up to be eaten. Instead, when he reached the rat he lept over them and quickly turned around. He charged forward and stabbed his short sword into the nape of the first rat. As for the second, he buried his dagger into its skull leaving both dead.

He placed his foot on the first rat and kicked it off his sword. As for his dagger, he just had to pull it out.

"2."

He cut off both rats' right ears and placed them into his bag. He looked down at both rats and had an idea. He kicked the first rat onto its back and sliced its belly open. He did this to the second rat and waited for the smell to attract more.

'Dumb animals always come for food.'

And he did not have to wait very long as a total of 5 rats were running in his direction. He placed his short sword in its sheath and drew his black sword. The corridors were not too tight and the ceiling was higher than his sword's reach.

He rushed toward the incoming rat which seemed enraged to see him. He pulled his left arm back and threw his dagger straight into the forehead of the first rat causing it to fall to the ground dead. Its dead body caused the other 4 to trip all over it.

"3."

Using that moment, he stabbed his sword down through the neck of the first rat.

"4."

The other 3 rats recovered and leaped to their feet as they rushed him. He kicked the leading one in the face and pulled his sword out of the dead rat. He swung wide and took the heads of the other two. As for the last rat he rushed toward it and stabbed his sword down into its gut. He slashed up and cut it in half disemboweling it.

"7."

He collected the ears and pulled his dagger out of the head of the dead rat. With that done he cleaned off his dagger and placed it on the sheath on his leg. He began to walk through the corridors of the sewer searching for more rats and giant beetles.

One thing about the sewers is that they are never-ending. He quickly ran into a small mixed group of the prey he was searching for. Another 6 giant rat's fighting a few Giant Beatles. Instead of joining in, he reached into his pack for something Goblin Slayer taught him.

He pulled out a ceramic jar filled with something that hurt the eyes, and mouth. Crushed peppers mixed with fine sand. He threw the jar into the pack of rats which spread the mixture into the group. They began to breathe it in, and get it into their eyes causing them agonizing pain.

The beetles were fine, but they took that moment to charge in. The Beetles overwhelmed one of the rats and ripped it apart, but Red Eyes watched on. He was waiting for the perfect moment to move in. He watched as a second rat and a beetle died in the gang fight.

'8. Now.'

He pulled out his swords and charged in dual wielding. He ran behind the rats and swung both swords taking the heads of two rats in one move.

"10."

Now there were only 2 more rats and 4 more Beetles. The rats screeched at Red Eyes and charged toward him. Instead, they only ended up joining their friends in the afterlife.

"12."

Now that the rats were dead, it was time to move on to their more crawly foes. The beetles charged toward him as he was the current threat. Red Eyes ran away instead of fighting causing the beetles to chase him.

However, he did not run for very long and only used that moment to get the beetles apart. He charged back in and jumped in the air onto the back of the leading one. He raised his black sword and stabbed it through the back.

The blade pierced through and into the floor leaving it pinned and dying. The second he rushed toward me and stabbed it in the face with his short sword. Now, with both his weapons pinned he drew both his daggers from his legs.

He waited patiently for the beetles to get into place as they moved side by side.

'Now.'

He rushed in with both weapons ready. He slid toward them and spun around stabbing both in the neck. He slashed up cutting their faces in half, killing them.

"12, 4."

He cleaned both of the blood and placed them back into the sheathes. He walked back to collect his swords With that completed he just needed to collect the ears and antenna.

"Just need 8 more rats and 16 more beetles."

He began to walk deeper into the sewers where he faced more rats, beetles, and bugs of all kinds. A few hours later his bag was full of body parts. He had collected double the amount requested as he would get extra for the good work.

Just as he collected the last ear, he began to walk back to the surface. Along the way, he had been marking his way just so he could not get lost. He followed the arrows he left on the

As he had killed so many rats and beetles, his way back was easy. When he arrived at the entrance of the sewers he bumped into two porcelain ran adventures. One was a Swordman and the other a Cleric. They jumped back when they saw him as he was covered in blood.

He thought back to what Priestess had told him.

"Good day."

Both of them nodded.

"Yeah, good day."

The girl tugged on her friend's arm as she kind of found Red Eyes a little intimidating.

"Come on. Let's get going."

"Uh, yeah. Let's go."

They took a quest very similar to the one Red Eyes took, but only for 5 giant rats. They would have some trouble finding more as the rats had run deeper into the sewers to run from him.

He waved them goodbye as he felt that he learned how to say hello to other people. With that done he began to make his way to the guild to get his reward.

--

When he walked into the guild, he noticed there was no line so he walked toward Guild Girl. She was currently reading some papers, but she recoiled when she smelled the overpowering smell of blood. She looked up and saw Red Eyes looking down at her.

She tilted her head as he and Goblin Slayer wore the exact same armor.

"Red Eyes or Goblin Slayer?"

He reached up to his head and removed his helmet showing his face.

"Yeah, it's me."

She cleared her voice but covered her nose with how nasty he smelled.

"So, did you succeed?"

He dropped the bag with ears and antenna on the table.

"Yes, and I doubled it."

She opened the bag and saw how there were many ears and antennae of beetles.

"I see, your payment for the rats is 3 Copper and the Beetles are 4. In total, 2 Silver and 80 copper."

She collected what she needed and handed him the bag. He opened it and saw his pay.

"Thanks."

Just as he was going to leave, Guild Girl gave him some advice.

"Red Eyes."

"Yes."

"Take a bath. You smell."

He nodded.

"Alright."

He put his helmet back on and began to walk out of the guild. While he did that Guild Girl looked over at her friend who watched the whole time. Her face looked so surprised that Red Eyes was actually very handsome.

Plus he was tall and his face looked quite pleasing to the eye. Even his light green skin did not really take away from his good looks.

"Hey, he was quite handsome. Dress him up well and he would be a dashing young man. Young Goblin?"

Red Eyes turned around and looked at her.

"Man."

She paused and nodded.

"Alright. See you around Sir."

He nodded and walked to the exit as he was going home. He opened the door and walked out, but he bumped into someone. Someone very short which caused them to fall onto their butt.

"Ow. Watch it?"

He looked down and saw a green-haired elf. She was looking up at him with a scowl.

"My bad."

He held his hand out which she took.

"Well, at least you got manners."

Red Eyes heard a laugh coming from behind and saw a Dwarf and a Lizard Man.

"Come on, Long Ears. You got to pay more attention. Things are not like the forests out here. You can bump into people you know."

The Lizard Man simply held his hands together in prayer.

"We are sorry for our companion."

Red Eyes shook his head.

"No problem."

Just as he was going to walk away the Elf stood in front of him.

"Hey, care to do me a favor? You did bump into me after all."

"Sure. What can I do for you?"

She perked up and cleared her voice.

"We are searching for someone named Orcbolg?"

Red Eyes titled his head at this. He had only been at the guild a little bit of time, but he knew most big adventures around. He had no knowledge of someone named Orcbolg.

"Never heard of him. Any description?"

The Elf seemed shocked that didn't work.

"How can you not know? Isn't that his name?"

Red Eyes just shook his head. Meanwhile, the dwarf laughed at the elf.

"See that Long Ears? Leave it to me. I believe he goes by the name of Beard Cutter?"

Red Eyes shook his head once more. Following up on the mockery, the elf made fun of the Dwarf.

"Oh. I thought you were so smart?"

While they argued, the Lizard Man walked up to Red Eyes and held his hands together.

"I apologize for my companions. He goes by Orcbolg and Beard Cutter. However, I believe he is better known as Goblin Slayer."

This time Red Eyes perked up.

"He is my teacher. You want to talk to him?"

Hearing that they finally got a clue, The elf and Dwarf stopped their squabble. She ran up to Red Eyes and looked into his visor.

"So, you can help us find him?"

Red Eyes nodded.

"Yeah. What do you need from him?"

She smiled and gave him a quick answer.

"We are on a quest to save the world and we need his expertise"

Red Eyes nodded.

"Alright. I will lead you to him. I think he even might be in town."

"Who might be in town?"

The Elf jumped and loomked behind her and saw Goblin Slayer standing over her.
