Diana's P. O. V

School had gotten pretty solemn, news about Luca's dad spread like a wild fire. Everything went so quickly, that before I knew what was going on, we had won the case.

Mom got two bomb ass lawyers to handle the case. Without anyone saying it to me I knew that mom had asked Michael's dad for help again.

I just couldn't shake off this uneasy feeling I got when she asked him for help. It made me mad, and feel like we're sort of indebted to them.

"Hey D! Josie is looking for you!." Someone told me from the sea of students.

I took a sharp turn and headed for the gym, trying to avoid the sharp gazes all directed at me.

*Gym Room*

Josie was going through a file, paperwork was scattered all throughout the table. I gave her a weary look, I was just drained out really.

"I called you here to help me with everyone's paperwork, I've been out lately and too busy to get this damn thing done." Josie said.
