Mom sat them down, and told Makela and I to go to our room, but of course we didn't do that completely. I placed my phone in the living room, on a call with Makela's phone.
We both sat on my bed listening to what those geezers had to say to my mom.
"May I please know who you are to Willa?." Mom courteously asked, she really was so nice to others.
"We're both her sisters in law." One of them said, she had this accent that made my ears bleed.
"I see, so you're the sisters to the man that beat her and her son up." Mom retorted, I could sense some anger in her tone.
"Look here, I don't know what that gold digger must have told you but our brother..." Mom didn't let her finish her sentence.
"She didn't need to say anything, the bruises on her speak enough." Mom said, trying her best not to yell at them.
