Chapter 26 : Survival of the fitess

In the UA announcing booth where Present Mic and Eraser Head are there as commentary but Eraser Head was dragged into this by Mic. Mic who was giving commentary giving hype and tension for the crowd to give it their all to cheer on the students. Eraser on the other hand enjoyed watching Izuku Midoriya doing his fast movements that even a speed type quirk user will easily attempt to do it but Izuku was trained to be that fast.

In the arena many students tried to steal each other's headbands and some Trying to get out of the ice but to no avail. Bakugo still chasing the 1-B students who insulted him and giving them a hard time. And then there is both Todoroki and Izuku who were in a stalemate but many students wanted the headband of Izuku its always a problem until one of Izuku's teammates was stuck because of his classmate's quirk sticking to the boots as he looks around and sees Mineta hiding from Shoji's arms and him waving creepily to his team as Izuku had no choice to escape by air using the jetpack given by Mei Hatsume as the try to fly away but the hovering boots made by Mei Hatsume as well was tuck by the quirk and as more it struggled the boots then broke free as Mei was slightly devistated with her invention broken as Izuku and his team are flying away as Izuku and his team landed.

But then Todoroki using his ice quirk to create walls to make Izuku have no escape routes to run towards. As Izuku was now stuck as Todoroki is right in front of him and stealing his headband will put him to first place then Todoroki asked his teammate Iida

"How much can you use your quirk?" asking to his front horse "I only have one more use for my quirk once I use it I'm already at my limit" he said as Todoroki was now gritting his teeth a bit

Izuku who was thinking had no choice but to charge towards him but he had an idea it maybe gruesome and painful to everyone but he had no other no option. "Alright guys I have an Idea it maybe suicidal but it's our only option since all of the support items are now at their limit" Izuku told his team as everyone in his team is listening to his plan

As Iida is charging up his recepro burst but to their surprise Izuku is charging towards them as they think it was suicidal until Iida was ready to charge. As Todoroki prepared himself to get the head band as Iida charges towards Izuku with his last recepro burst and Todoroki was about to grab the headband. But then they see pieces of wood and some blood as they see that it was Izuku swung his bokken to Todoroki right to his face. As the on lookers sees this they began to cringe from the impact even present Mic cringes from that swing with the bokken right to his face. As Izuku still has the 10 million points but for Todoroki he is seeing doubles and was dizzy with his nose bleeding thanks to the hard impact Iida can't use his recepro burst but also was shocked to see Izuku's fast reaction and last resort attack. Todoroki who was recovering from the impact with his team was shock to see Todoroki's destroyed face as one of them tried their best to keep him awake and Todoroki was still trying to recover from that injury. Izuku who was holding his broken bokken in hand and his teammates were shock with his fast reaction as his headband was still in his head as Izuku exhales to compose himself. Then threw away his broken bokken then uses his wakizashi bokken his spare as his main weapon to defend himself then Bakugo with his headband back on his head he tries to catch Izuku off guard while in mid airbut Izuku was fast that he got hit right in the gut and was sent flying until his teammates pulled him back. And Izuku and his team are now in their defensive stance to avoid other attack or incoming ambushes from other opponents.

Mic who was still cringing from the defensive attack from Izuku and sees the results that Todoroki is dizzy and had a bleeding nose "Yikes! Now that's gonna hurt I thought Todoroki got him already?" He said in the microphone "It's Izuku's fast reaction speed He knew what is going to happen he had a last resort plan to do a parry right into Todoroki but Todoroki was so fast that when he got hit right in the face with that bokken then yes what you saw is how high speeds can cause major levels of injuries" he explained as the audience began to think of how painful it was as they see Todoroki who is barley up and a bleeding nose after getting hit in the face with a wooden sword with Endeavour he felt it like how the ghost slashed a deep cut in his back as he evaded his attack and countered it. As Endeavor scouls from Izuku's action for harming his son but also his son who is denying to use his fire

Izuku on the other hand is defending himself including dark shadow blacking the explosions and running away from the fight the switching to Izuku parrying and counter attacking Bakugo. As for Todoroki he was completely desperate to get the head band but his team were already in their limits the Todoroki in a last resort made Iida run towards Izuku just to catch the 10 million headband but with Izuku's great sense he knew there desperate to get his headband

"1 minute left" Mic announced as everyone is trying to catch up and stealing other headbands.

But unfortunately many of them were frozen or stuck in place and can't be help. With Izuku who is now stuck with 2 teams trying to steal his headband until Todoroki unconsciously used his fire side which made Todoroki realized and think to himself 'Damn it I used his side' but Izuku leap to evade the attack which hit right to Bakugo's face as Bakugo lost his balance which his team yanked him back to his spot. "30 seconds!!!" Mic shouting his announcement as both teams charging up towards Izuku but he threw the last set of kunai right into the ground making the front horse of their team stagger from the close call from getting hit. Bakugo launched himself until.

" Times up!!! Students times up!!! " As Mic announced them.

Bakugo dropped on the ground flat as his classmates asked if he is alright but they hear muffled screaming and his fist hammering the ground. With Izuku sighs in relief as his arms slumped down holding his wakizashi. But Todoroki who is looking at Izuku with a angry glare.
