Agony

When Demian got home, he saw my mother waiting outside. "Unbelievable. She could've just waited inside without having to go out," he mumbled and glared at his mother but she just hit him.

He yelped and complained, "Mom! I was about to die earlier and then you're still going to hit me."

"That's nothing compared to your reprehensibleness," she said and pulled him by the ear into the house,  making him shriek in pain and almost fell in the gutter.

He thought, "What an unbelievable mother she is."

"Now explain to me what happened to you Damien Travis Liverio?" She asked seriously when they got to his room.  Demian becomes serious when she mentions his name as a sign that she wants to talk seriously.

"They tracked me down."

"Since when?" she asked with worry plastered on her face.

"Yesterday."

Demian looked down because of embarrassment. Now, they have to leave their new apartment because of him.

"And you're only telling me today--"

"I didn't expect that they'd shoot everywhere--" he shut my mouth when he realized that he slipped causing her eyes to widen.

She immediately rushes towards her son and touches him to see if he's physically okay with her eyes full of worries.

"What did they do to you?" She scanned his whole body to check for wounds but she couldn't see anything but specks of blood.

"They brought guns and shot me," he said in a monotonous way that caused her to hit him.

"Where? Where?"

She walked around Demian to lift his shirt because no mother would want their child to be hurt. She was about to remove his pants when Demian stopped her.

"Woah, mom. You're my mom but I'm old now-- Aww!"

"Where did they hit you?!" my mom stormed after hitting her head.

'That hurts!" he complained.

"Well then tell me where your wounds are so we can do something about it," his mom argued.

Demian heaved a deep sigh and explained, "It's Fine Now. A girl like me healed me."

Her eyes widened and queried, "What?"

"A girl with a special ability like me healed me."

"You met a castre?" She looked amazed but she immediately looked away.

"Castre? What's that?" Demian asked.

"It doesn't matter now, just pack your things. We are leaving tonight," she replied and turned her back at him.

"What? Where are we going, Mom?"

"Don't ask anything. Just do it," she said and went outside his room.

Demian could do nothing but follow her mom's order and took his suitcase under his bed. "It's right that we have to leave here before they knew we lived here. But where are we going? Fxck. Whatever," he thought.

It's not as if they have a choice. For now, this is what they can only do and he trusts his mom.

Fortunately, Demian didn't remove his other clothes from the suitcase making it easier to pack his things. Furthermore, he doesn't have that many clothes because they often move around so he only has clothes that will fit in his suitcase and backpack.

Demian also changed my clothes because there was blood on his uniform. He can't leave his clothes with his blood anywhere so he put them in his backpack. That is what his mom told him.

She doesn't buy them utilities either because they don't have a permanent address or home. All the things that they used in this apartment are owned by the landlady.

He was about to go to the bathroom to get a toothbrush when he heard a thud on the first floor. Then it was followed by the sound of broken glass, making his eyes widened because of that thought that something's happening downstairs so he immediately rushed down to look for his mother.

"Mom!" he yelled, storming into the kitchen, only to find no one there.

There was also no one in the living room except for the broken glass pieces of the door so he immediately ran out of the house.

The moment he went outside, he saw his mom being strangled by the same man who almost killed him earlier, Falcon. He's not alone. Behind him are his team who's looking at Demian emotionless.

"Mom!" Demian gritted his teeth in rage and was about to charge at them when Falcon's men pointed their guns at him.

"Stay where you are, kid," Falcon said and smirked, fueling his anger.

He looked at his mom who struggled to look at him and mouthed 'run' but Demian didn't move an inch from his position.

"Let go of my mom," he scowled at him but Falcon just grinned and all of them looked at him with their menacing eyes.

"I'm afraid I can't do that." He said and raised his hand and then suddenly, the atmosphere around him turned dark causing his eyes to widen. Then suddenly a purple flame that soon became dark formed while circling his hands.

It was as if he's holding a black hole in his hand. The bigger it gets, the more it chills the area.

Falcon sneered at Demian and aimed his right hand at his mom's face.

"Say goodbye to your beloved mother," he said with a grin plastered on his face.

It was as if Demian was weakened because of fear for his mother's life and yelled, "No, please no!" but Falcon didn't listen to him as he increased the intensity of his dark energy.

A tear from his mom rolled down her cheeks as she watched her son try to run towards them but it's too late. Falcon already released dreadful energy towards his mom without thinking twice. The impact pushed Demian the opposite way and then fell to the ground.

He immediately turned around and saw how the black energy devoured his mother's body as he heard her agonizing scream.

Demian was frozen in his position with his pupils dilated as he watched his mother's body vanish into thin air. In just a few seconds, the energy exploded leaving only clouds of dust.

"Mom..."
