Chapter 2

Zane's POV

I was still standing there, still so intrigued by this girl that I just met. When Blade and Ezra appeared behind me. I was still lost in my thoughts when Ezra pushed me into a table. I looked at Ezra with anger-filled eyes and yelled "What the Hell dude, why did you push me into a table"

When I stood up I saw Ezra lounge back as I threw a punch, he dodged it and looked back at me with an angry look. When Blade said "Dude you guys need to cool down" I just looked at him annoyed.

I turned back to Ezra I said furious "Why did you push me into a fucking table"

He looked at me angrily and said "You freaking hit on my girlfriend dude how could you" I looked at him still irritated

"Dude I was drunk and pissed at you, you fucking killed him when we still needed him, we needed that info and you fucked it up," I said angrily

I looked at them one more time and said annoyed "I'm no longer hungry" as I walked out the door as I noticed everyone staring with wide eyes.

Destiny's POV

I was walking home, I couldn't stop thinking about him. I can't seem to find a reason why he was stuck in my head. It was an odd feeling. When suddenly I felt these arms grab me before I could do a thing their hands covered my mouth. I couldn't help myself, I started to cry, thinking to myself, maybe my parents are right, maybe the world is too cruel for me. what if I never see them again, then thinking to myself no, I will not go out this way. I tried so hard to escape his grasp struggling, pulling, pushing and, kicking doing everything I could possibly think of to escape but I couldn't. As I started to panic he started saying something. He pushed me against the wall and put a knife to my stomach. I have never been so frightened in my life.

"As long as you do what I say you won't die got it" I looked up at him and nodded, still trying to calm myself down and hold back my tears.

"You will walk with me to my trunk and get in" I nodded again looking for somebody to help me, but there was nobody else around to see or hear me let alone help me.

"My boss wants you and he will get you most importantly, you must obey his every word" I nodded again, still looking for somebody, anybody to help meg I didn't even care who it is, I just need somebody to help me.

He started to loosen his grip that's when I knew I had to make a run for it. As soon as he let go I ran as fast as I could. I heard a gunshot next thing I knew a sharp pain shot through my body starting at my leg it was the most painful thing I have ever felt. Now I just wanted it to stop.

Stop the pain

Stop the suffering

Stop breathing

Stop everything

But if I stopped that means I would be dead. I didn't want to die. I wanted to see my family. I wanted to be safe. It isn't fair. What did I do to deserve this? Next thing I knew he was standing in front of me. I'm losing so much blood. It was hard to stay awake. I really wanted to just pass out. I want it all to be over. Just let it be over. I can't take the pain. I couldn't just let it end though, I need to hold on. Hold on long enough to be saved.

"Did you really think you could get away from me?" he said laughing

"Leave her alone," a familiar voice said.

I couldn't move. I started to see black dots. No, I can't give in. This can't be the end. I just can't hold on any longer. I gave into the darkness.
