Destiny's POV

I was working as usual in a spectacular restaurant on the edge of town, called Algessos. Algessos is always filled with high-class people, Men in black suits with ties and button-up t-shirts and Ladies in pretty dresses and their makeup was all done up nicely with their hair up in buns or ponytails.

As my shift came to an end, I was in charge of seating everybody when a tall, dark handsome guy with these gorgeous deep ocean blue eyes that I could stare into all-day and this jet black hair and those abs oh my god those abs I felt like I was going to faint, and he started talking but I didn't hear a word he said.

He shouted "Lady" which brought me out of my thoughts

I looked up at him nervously and said "I am sorry please don't get me fired"

He looked at me with an anger-filled face saying "Give one good reason why I shouldn't tell your supervisor that you were slacking off"

I looked at him and said with annoyance "I need this job if I want to move out, my parents don't want me moving out because they say the world is too cruel for a sweet little girl like me"

He looked at me an smirked "I care why"

I was going to then tell him he had to button up his shirt in this restaurant but I was interrupted by my supervisor. She shouted my last name "Ms. Lockwood" I looked over thinking she was going to fire me, but she didn't all she said was "Why are you still here your shift ended 5 minutes ago"

She then said "I don't care who your parents are when your shift is over you leave" I felt good to be judged and yelled at everybody else in town treats me like royalty.

I apologized and walked to grab my stuff when I walked away, she looked at me with an angry look.

Zane's POV

When I walked into Algessos I approached the counter and was met by this young Lady who wasn't paying attention and it simply annoyed me all I wanted to do was eat and she was just staring into space finally I said "Lady" she looked at me

As she started to apologize, I thought I might have a little fun and be a jerk just for kicks, as she was asking me not to tell her supervisor I tried so hard not to laugh at her than her supervisor appeared and shouted her name well last name "Ms. Lockwood" her supervisor told her, her shift ended 5 minutes ago and that she needed to get going.

She then said "I don't care who your parents are when your shift is over you leave"

Immediately she said "Sorry" and went to grab her things I was immediately intrigued by this girl that was standing in front of me.
