The Pit

I let Selene go just as we reappeared in Tartarus where I had spoken to Nyx last. I looked around the descimated grounds and grinned.

There were no monsters, meaning that I had taken a great chunk out of the ones in Tartarus. Either that or they had all already gone up to the over world.

If that had been the case there would have been stray monsters. A few to keep the elevator functioning and there was none. Which pointed to my first theory that I had indeed culled a great deal of them in my last visit.

"Come on, let's go find my alleged sister."

"Do you even know where she is?"

"Not in the slightest."

We walked for nearly an hour before we ran into our first monster. The werewolf looked startled as we approached it. It didn't look anything like the werewolves from my first world.

It was a scrawny beast with feral looking eyes. Scars ran along its body from past battles. It got ready to attack and I turned to Selene.

"You want this one or…"

Selene smirked as she walked forward. "I've got this."

"Alright, but leave it alive, I want to ask it a few questions."

I watched as Selene drew the dagger she always had on her from seemingly nowhere. I always wondered where she kept the knife as she had it when she threatened me the day we first met.

She had been nearly naked then so it was hard to believe she'd have a spot to keep it concealed. Shrugging, I dismissed it as a secret skill she had developed over the centuries.

The werewolf pounced and Selene dodged to the left slashing the rabid creature across the ribs as it flew past her. The wolf howled in pain and attacked again.

Selene's eyes took a glint of something akin to joy as she dodged swipes and bites. The werewolf seemed to get frustrated at being unable to land a hit on the hybrid turned goddess.

Selene stabbed it several times making the wolf yip. The werewolf's wounds steamed and bubbled, pointing me to the fact that Selene's dagger was forged with killing werewolves in mind.

Selene danced around the wolf landing multiple cuts on its body. Once she was done toying with the monster Selene put out a burst of vampiric speed and cut the werewolf's legs clean off. The beast roared in pain as the wounds immediately cauterized thanks to the nature of the weapon. Cleaning the dagger on the werewolf's fur she calmly stepped back over to my side with a wide grin.

"That was fun, I had nearly forgotten how much I enjoyed killing werewolves or in this case, maiming the beasts."

"Don't let Alruna hear you say that." I chuckled.

'Too late my lord, I am familiar with Lady Selene. That beast was no wolf. It would not bother me in the slightest should you choose to end its life.' Alruna's voice spoke in my head.

'That's good to know.' I replied .

"Right, let's get this over with. I can see what you mean by getting tired of all the red."

Selene merely nodded in amusement and looked at the werewolf as I walked to where it was trying to crawl away. In a flash Dark Sister was in my hand and stabbed through the werewolf's spine. The beast roared again as I twisted the blade.

"Speak plainly and truthfully, then I shall allow you to die a quick death."

The werewolf grunted and growled, but no coherent words, much less an understandable language, came from its jaws. I frowned then let out a sigh, I hadn't wanted to resort to mind rape but it couldn't be be helped. I took out Dark Sister from the werewolf's spine, flicked it clean of blood and turned it into the Elder Wand. With a hard glare I tore into the werewolf's mind without any care for subtlety. The werewolf screamed in pain and tried to thrash, only it was held down by my power.

The beast's memories were jumbled, a mess of emotions and images. There was no cohesive thought that would aid me in locating what I wanted so I ripped everything apart and pieces together my sister's location.

Thankfully the werewolf had been around for a while and had overheard monsters mentioning a 'Mansion of Night'. I withdrew from the wolf's now shattered mind and sneered at the drooling mess.

With a flick of the wand the wolf exploded into blood and gore before being vanished to wherever things vanish to.

I turned to Selene and saw that she had a look of interest on her face. She hadn't seen me use Harry Potter magic much if at all so the use of what she saw as a stick must have been strange.

"I've found my sister's house among other things that are frankly too disturbing to think about."

"Oh? Is it something to do with you projecting how much you want to castrate Tartarus through our bond?"

I grunted a reply and Selene grinned; "Greek gods have always been strange Blake, your mother was bound to be a part of that."

"Still doesn't change the fact that she got freaky with Tartarus of all people."

The ground rubbles as if noticing me insulting the being it was a part of.

"Oh fuck off you red turd, you're lucky I don't fucking geld you for touching my mother."

"ENOUGH!" A voice shouted.

Tartarus blazed into being in front of me. I couldn't help but to be unimpressed by his appearance. He still looked the same when I dropped him like a sack of potatoes.

"Ah, Tartar Sauce… fancy seeing you here."

"I will not be ridiculed by an upstart god!" The Primordial roared.

"No need to be rude. Hey, since you're here, why don't you point me over to where Nyx lives and I won't erase you from this world for touching my mother."

Tartarus reddened, which all things considered was impressive since he was already red as shit to begin with. The air thickened with his aura and I grinned.

"A fight is it?"

"I will slaughter you where you stand!"

He charged while summoning a sword to his hand. Snapped my fingers, slowing time to a crawl. I frowned when I felt the amount of MP it took to keep the time dilation up. Turning to Selene I tossed her a rock I picked up off the ground. Pointing the Elder Wand at it I turned it into a portkey back to camp.

"While I have no doubt that you're powerful, Primordials may just be out of your league. Get back to the kids, I'll come get you when I'm done here."

Selene quickly nodded and gave me a kiss. "I know my limits Blake, kick his ass and come back to your cabin. I'll have a surprise waiting for you."

Her flirtatious smile was enough reason to take the fight seriously. It had been a while since I had shared a bed with my mate. She took the rock and in a swirl vanished back to camp. I felt my MP strain as Tartarus fought my control.

"Alright tit fucker, you have my undivided attention. Try not to disappoint."
