Asia's open wandering! Pendant of Protected Trust

Aisa calmly sat at the edge of a cliff watching the forest below, deep in thought.

(Image of Aisa!)

'I need to get stronger faster, but how?'

Aisa clenched her fist and looked at her hands in frustration. 'I need to kill more...'

She abruptly got up and looked into the distance, her eyes locking on a massive bird monster. She pulled out the pendant Siria gave her and flashed it at the massive bird monster.

"Analyze," she commanded as an in-game system screen with the details of the monster came up.

----------

Great Shoebill

4 meters tall and wing span up to 10 meters.

Resistant to dark magic, and Aura

Recommended the use of Light or Wind-based attacks

Warning: Dont get close to it

Part of the bird species that was brought from BlueVail as an experiment.

-----------

'An experiment...?'

Aisa wondered but shook her head and looked at the Great Shoebill.

She pocketed the pendant and faced her palm towards the Great Shoebill. A small ball of wind formed, its shape deforming into a spike.

She narrowed her eyes, and the wind started to writhe around her. The wind spike began to blend in with the surroundings, becoming almost invisible, though distortions in the light revealed its presence.

Aisa aimed at the bird monster carefully, waiting for an opportunity or any opening she could find.

The bird was walking near a stream of water, getting food for itself. Aisa observed its behavior for a while and smiled. "You can die now," she declared coldly as her magic launched.

Her magic sprang away at an incredible speed without making a single sound, and it rushed right into the Great Shoebill's body.

"HOOOOOO!!!!! KRA KRA KRA RKA!" It screeched and creaked in immediate pain.

Aisa formed 10 wind spikes and launched them, not bothering to hide. The Great Shoebill flapped its wings, attempting to fly, but Aisa was a step quicker.

WHOOOSS!! x10

All the wind spikes hurled and landed; some penetrated the Great Shoebill, and the remaining destroyed its surroundings.

The Great Shoebill fell to the ground limp, unmoving, and very much dead.

Aisa stared at this as she checked her mana reserves.

'That was nearly half my mana pool... no, I was being wasteful there. I could have killed it with just one to the head if I aimed properly, and if not, then two would have been enough...'

She harshly analyzed and looked for another prey, spotting a group of goblins. "Goblins here in the deeper parts of the forest...?" She frowned and conjured a massive fireball that was as tall as her and compressed it to a marble.

She watched the goblins who were being toyed with by a bull-like monster. She tossed the marble-sized fireball right in the middle of them and...

BOOOOMM!!

The fireball expanded beyond the speed of sound, engulfing the bull monster and the goblins instantly. 'That was a 1/4 of my mana... just half of that would have been enough.'

She analyzed again, completely ignoring the 5-meter crater she had casually created. She sat down and started to recover her mana while keeping an eye out for any monster that could sneak up on her. Then again, she was on a very high cliff almost with no way down; only flying monsters could even get near her.

After a while, she got up and looked down. She was around 500 meters high. She uncaringly jumped, falling straight down. She quickly reached the 300-meter mark, and her falling speed gradually slowed down. At 100 meters, she was basically floating down.

'This is taking too much mana; a rapid stop would be much better, but I might break my leg... or neck?'

Aisa descended to the ground and took out the pendant, holding it tightly in her hand.

Meanwhile in BlueVail.

Siria stepped onto the balcony, her eyes glowing as she watched Aisa experiment with her magic. "Why are you even there.... out of all the places you could have been, you had to go there..." She gritted her teeth as she sneakily used the necklace she gave Aisa as a transmitter for her magic, cleaning off all the strong monsters that detected Aisa's presence while luring in some smaller monsters.

Siria closed her eyes and focused. She pricked her finger, making a drop of blood fall out and disappear.

In the sky above Aisa, Siria manifested. At the same time, Siria was present in the banquet hall, but the one in the sky above Aisa seemed lifeless until, "Avatar," Siria called out, making the Siria above the sky become full of life. This was her avatar.

Siria's avatar watched over Aisa while the real Siria also kept an eye on Ken and Eleis, who were in the corner of her vision.

Siria watched from above the sky, having a bird's eye view. Her eyes fell on Aisa, who walked openly through the forest, 'At least she has it in her hands... otherwise, I might have sent her to the city or here...'

Siria from BlueVail flicked her finger, and an invisible thread appeared behind Aisa, who walked obliviously.

Aisa spotted something from the corner of her eye and changed her direction. She openly walked, and after a moment, she looked at a monster that could only appear in a horror movie with more than enough budget.

It was an undead humanoid monster made out of dead wood, its back adorned with bloody wood barbs.

Siria, flabbergasted, looked at Aisa who was facing one of the most annoyingly creepy undead.

"KEKEKE KEKE," the undead cackled as it grinned, starting to circle around Aisa who coldly looked at it, her wanderlust replaced by her cold side.

Siria observed the situation, ready to erase the undead, her avatar having a staff pointed at it, but then she paused and smiled.

'Smart~!' she complimented as she felt Aisa pour her mana into the pendant that absorbed it vigorously.

The undead circled behind Aisa and stepped up right behind her, towering over her. But then Aisa disappeared, confusing the undead.

'When did she figure out about that~?'

Siria looked at Aisa, who had no presence at all and was to a certain degree invisible. Aisa turned around and looked at the confused undead that was searching around.

"KEKEKEKEKE...?" it weirdly called out as the bloody barbs extended out, going into the forest and searching around. It took a step forward, sniffing around.

Aisa was calm as she pointed the necklace at the undead, "Arrow of light," she chanted, and a massive arrow of light directly formed right into the undead. The ends of the arrow stuck out of its body, but the remainder of the arrow was inside it.

"KKKKKKKKKEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!" it madly screeched as the bloody barbs started retracting at insane speed, the trees in their way either cut or ripped off.

"Arrow of light," Aisa chanted again, making another massive arrow of light form.

All the bloody barbs started to slash toward Aisa, who chanted again, "Arrow of light."

Siria looked on in amusement, 'Using the pendant as an amplifier for your magic, never thought you could use that necklace in that way. Well, it is made out of magic metal and gems.' Siria shrugged as she casually vaporized the barbs that swung at Aisa.

The undead finally fell, and Aisa disabled her camouflage. "I barely have any mana left... I should have played it from afar, or I need to learn stronger magic," Aisa muttered as she walked off.

Siria's lips twitched, "Yeah, if you had attacked from afar, that thing would hide... you stood openly, making it think of you as easy prey that could be toyed with..." she commented. If Aisa had really attacked from afar, her chance of winning was 0%, and Siria would have had to interfere.

"Aisa... I know you are smart enough to keep yourself safe, but... this forest isn't a place for you. I can't always be there to protect you..." Siria helplessly followed Aisa, making sure she was okay the whole time.

Siria snapped her fingers, and a small purple spell circle formed behind Aisa, facing Aisa's hand which held the pendant.

A screen popped up in front of Siria; she had just used analysis.
