Chapter 2

It's been a few hours since we left to find my husband, and we haven't had any problem. The members in my unwanted party are still avoiding me. So, I isolated myself in the control room. However, Rosa still tried her best to play mediator between us. Unfortunately for her, I'm not that forgiving. Anyways, we're making goo-

"Boom!" Something hit the command center.

"Malady, one of the booster was shot and is no longer usable. I recommend an immediate landing."

We're thousand of miles in the sky. How can anybody shoot us,let alone see us. It doesn't make sense. Unless they're a high-level sni-

"Freya! What's going on?" Rosa asked as she rushed in the control room. Following behind her was the group.

"It's has to be a high-level player killer! They're probably after me."

"What! Why?" She asked surprisingly worried.

"I don't know why he or she targeting me, but they got me on a bad day?"

I opened my inventory, and searched for my weapons and armors. Unfortunately, almost all of them was unusable due to my last limiter. Luckily, there's one equipment that usable at any level. He called it a L- suit, but I have absolutely no idea what it does. I never used it before.

"Wait, what's this?"

There's something in here that's not supposed to be in there. I pressed the mysterious item to get information on it, but I mistakenly pressed to hard and activated the item. Suddenly, a bracelet appeared around my arm, and a screen in front of me.

"Received God-level item; G-destroyer. This item allows user to use any item user own instantly by stated name of item. Equipped permanently. Inventory will no longer in use." It reads.

"You sure know how to treat me, don't you, Rin." I thought happily as I remembered a conversation Rin and I had.

I ran into a drop tube built into the mobile center. Prepared to drop, I heard another tube open next to me. Curious, I immediately pressed the drop button located in beside me, causing the floor to open dropping us. To my surprise, Rosa and a guy from her party were in the two other tubes.

"Flight" I called out.

Flight is a skill that anybody can get on the first day they login as a reward. I flew down to the ground at high speed and crashed into the ground. As the smoke cleared, I saw someone unexpected.

"Hello sister, dear." He said arrogantly.

"Kevin! What're you doing here? Rin banned you from FIG the first day of beta testing. You know for hacking the FIG interface."

"He overreacted. I was just making myself a little stronger." He said.

"Not to mention, you were trying to take his company away from him."

"Correction, we were trying to take his company, and still doing it. Don't you remember? That's the entire reason why you married him."

"What!" A voice said as a person walked towards us.

Worried, I immediately looked to the left. There was the man I love, Rin. I really hope he didn't hear what my stupid brother said.

"What do he mean that's the only reason you married me?" He asked me with a fiery look in his eyes.

"Shit!" I thought myself.

"Sweetheart, I'm so happy to see." I said to him as I hugged him. "Don't listen to my stupid brother."

"No, I want answers. What does he mean?" He said as he pushed me off and released a large aura.

I took a deep breathe as I prepared to tell him something that could determine our marriage and future.

"Okay, Remember when we first met. I was working as one of the board members assistant and was delivering some papers that needed you authorization."

"Yes, I remember that day." he said cautiously.

"That wasn't really the reason I came to your office. I came to your office to seduce you for the purpose of getting on your good side. Luckily for me, you didn't catch on to this, or maybe you did. I don't know, but anyway, the reason I was trying to seduce you was because, at that time, I was living with my brother in a broke down house struggling to get by with the debts from our mother and father, continuing to gather interest. We weren't going to survive the way things were going. So, my brother came up a plan to marry a rich guy, and take his money, and the first person I thought of was you."

He stood there silently with a face I've never seen. It was filled with anger and rage, however I knew he was hurting and crying on the inside. Scared for what he goes to say, I did the only thing I could. I wrapped my arms around him, the way he loves, and prayed that this would work.

"Let go." I heard him say in a cold tone. "All this time together meant nothing to you. I was just a get rich quick plan." He said as he forced me off.

"No, sweetie, I always felt love for you. Even, before my brother's stupid plan. You were the one person I felt a strong connec-

"SHUT UP! I have no time to deal with you manipulative ways. If you haven't noticed by now, our daughter and son are missing. I need to concentrate on tracking their locations, and your lies are distracting me."

"Woah, buddy, be careful on how you talk to my sister." Kevin said as he walked on Rin.

"Oh yeah, who's going to make me, boy?" Rin said as walked up on Kevin.

"Well, me, of course. You little nerd." Kevin said as he didn't back down.

The tension between those two felt heavy and powerful. It felt like they were about to start a huge fight. Before that could happen, I jumped in front them to mediate, hoping that this would be enough to stop this fight. Unfortunately, that didn't work. Kevin threw the first punch and hit Rin right in the face with an empowered punch, knocking him into the ground.

"Yeah, what now little nerd? Gonna hit me?" Kevin gloating about hitting my husband who basically the god of this place. But, it's unusual. I've seen Rin take punches from boss fights three times the size of the Eiffel Tower. Why was he knocked down by my brother?

"Unlock all restrictions levels." I heard Rin mumbled under his voice.

"Uh-Oh" I thought to myself.

Suddenly, a tornado formed around Rin. I ran towards Rosa and her party mate to protect them from what to come. Knowing how much of my power was released from two levels, I can only imagine what Rin's going through. Then, the tornado disbursed, revealing an angry Rin. But, he looked completely different. It was like he gave up being human and ascended to some kind of god, with his long black and silver hair, and long red Haori.

"So, you got back up, little nerd. Good, cause I wasn't done with you, yet." he said arrogantly. However, Rin didn't pay him any mind. He stood there and stretched.

"So, did I put fear into you? Or I caused slight brain damag-

Rin grabbed Kevin's face and flew high into sky, without making a sound. I took off following them, but I was too late. By the time I got close to them, Rin was towering over my brother as if he was ready to deliver the final blow. However, I couldn't let this happen. Even though he's on the verge of ruining my marriage, I have to protect him. So, I rushed in between the two of them facing Rin, hoping it would calm him down and give Kevin some type of mercy, but I didn't expect his response.

"Okay, I see where you stand. I truly see our relationship, marriage, and time together were only a sick joke for you." He said as he took off his necklace. The necklace was a virtual locket. "You won't be seeing me. Goodbye."

Suddenly, he disappeared while leaving me to cry. The reason I was crying was because this locket was a present for our first marriage anniversary. This locket is a holographic recorder and projector. When he first gave one to me, he said it records and holds all our great times together by reading our heart rates. I would say mine has certain events in our life, but the looks of his it filled to the brim of videos of us together, which only made me cry even more. I made a huge mistake.

"Why d'you do this?" I mumbled under voice as tears ran down my face.

"Because, you forgot your true purpose of marrying that fool. We only wanted his company. You got too used to being weak and living the high class life." He replied.

"You bastard!" I yelled as slapped him as hard I could. "You ruined the happiest thing of my life. And, I probably won't be able to fix it."

"Good, now let's you and me finish this event together and take the grand prize."

I don't know what came over me, but I couldn't help it. I was overwhelmed with different emotions. Sadness. Anger. Loneliness. Completely broken.

"Summon: Iron gauntlet."

Instantly, a metallic gauntlet formed around one of my hands. This gauntlet had two special powers. It shoot blast from its palm, and it has an instant kill chance of five percent. And, I feel extremely lucky right now. I punched him in the face strong enough to break through the ground into an underground pit. I'm sure it was enough to force log him out of The FIG. I landed back in front Rosa and the guy who were left in shock.

"You okay?" I asked them.

"Yeah, What about you?" Rosa asked.

"So, you saw that? Never mind, we have to go. We need to catch up in the event."

Something is bigger is going on behind close doors. I have a feeling that the board is behind it. I just hope that Rin is okay. Back on the mobile command center, I was looking at the world map to look for any trace of Rin, but it failed. I didn't know there was something that could hide someone from the admin world map in the game. It must be some update with the game. Then, I thought he could be in the hell, and that's why he couldn't be seen on the map. The world map doesn't show in the other worlds like Hell. It only shows this world.

"Computer, plot a course for hell."

"What!" I heard Rosa's party say as they enter the cockpit.

"Unable to plot course to hell. Strictly forbidden to enter with the command center."

Well, I guess I have to go to hell myself.

"Freya, Are you seriously thinking about going to hell?" One guy of the party said.

"Well, yeah. That's probably where my husband is now. And, I need to talk with him before it's too late."

"Uhhhh. IRL stuff, and lovey dovey stuff should be banned from our world. I mean we're the ones who created it." Another guy said.

"How bout you guys shut up and let her leave. It's not like she was going to help us, anyway." One girl of the party said.

"No! We need her. Believe it or not she knows more about the FIG master than any of us." The guy from the drop tube said with a commanding tone.

"Leader is right. We need Freya, and lucky for us the next event is located in hell." Rosa said.

How in the hell did they make my trip to hell about them? I don't plan on taking them along with me. I'll just sneak out later on tonight with V.

"Alright, Everyone in agreement we leaving early in the morning tomorrow. Computer, find a safe place and land." I said as I headed to my room.

Luckily, there were enough rooms room for everyone. My room was a large room made for two. This was where me and Rin would sleep when we were on adventuring together during the beta test. Slowly, tears would start as I looked around the room. I made the worst mistake in my life. I changed my clothes and immediately went to bed and cried my eyes out. Later that night, I was woken up from my sleep by a knocking on my door. I got up and answered it. It was the guy Rosa called Leader.

"Freya, are you okay? Letting us come with to hell I mean." He said.

I looked at my clock, and it said "1am". As you can tell, I was not in the mood, but I didn't want to be rude. I invited him in for a cup of coffee. Little did I know what was about to transpire from this.

"Okay, um...

"Leader." He said.

"Really, leader. Anyway, Leader, I'm okay with you all coming with me to hell. But, don't expect me defend you all while we're down there." I said before taking a big gulp of my coffee.

"Oh, don't worry about that. Our party is one of the best in the game." He said.

"Really! What rank?"

"Rank three." He said as he looked away with embarrassment.

"The top parties are at least Rank nine and higher." I said bluntly, which have sounded rude. However, A party's ranking determines the peace in this game. FIG is constantly being targeted by governments and dirty organizations, who wants its technology. Then, I looked at him, and saw a disappointed look on his face.

"Cheer up ki-"..

My body went stiff I can't move. Suddenly, I hear maniacal laughter coming from Leader.

"So, my paralysis skill works on even the She-Devil of hell. That's wonderful." I heard him say under his voice.

"W-w-w-what did you d-d-do to me?" I struggled to say.

"Simple, my lovely queen. I used my paralysis skill on you repeatedly. And, now I will use you." He said smiling wide, but I sensed the overwhelming lust and bloodlust he had.

"Uuunllllock" I struggled said the paralysis gotten stronger.

I can't let this boy take advantage of me.

"Ttthiiiiirrrrrddd."

He slowly caresses my hair with one hand as he moves his other one moves to down into my clothes. Then, he kissed my neck as if he was ready to make me his. I only need one more word. Suddenly, Rin's image appeared in front of me. He was looking at me with that disappointed and sad face when he found out about my deception. I reached out my hand to grab him, but he slowly backed away.

"NNNNNNN-No, Rrrrrrriiiin, I'm ssssooorrrryyy. Pppllleasee come back!"

Suddenly, my mouth felt normal.

"Unlock final limiters!"

Instantly, my body burned as if it was being set on fire. Immediately, I knocked him off of me, which sent him through my door and a multiple of walls. I felt immense pain and, oddly, pleasure from each thing my body broke and repaired including my muscles and bones. I never thought it would be this painful. Rin made this look easy. After a few minutes, the pain subsided and my body felt stronger. Suddenly, a screen appeared before me.

"Freya has gained the unique passive skill 'Wrath of the Hell Goddess'. It increases the base power of every stat and skill by One hundred, and continues to multiply as the user get angry. By three hundred if resonated with the unique passive skill 'Wrath of the Hell God." It read.

Huh, I wonder what my stats look like know. Better yet! How do I look now? I remembered Rin looked completely different when he unlock his limiters. I must look different someway. But, I cann wonder about my appearance later. I have a snake to kill. I took a single step, and I instantly appeared floating over Leader,who was surrounded by Rosa and their party members.

"Freya, now calm down. There's no need for any violence." Rosa said with a nervous tone.

"Calm down! Calm down! You do not understand what he tried to do to me. I think it's a perfect time to be violent." I yelled as I released my power.

She looked back at Leader, and saw an innocent teenager legitimately scared for his life. All I could think of is that this is BS. She looked back at me with a look that signaled she was ready to fight. She and the rest of their party charged at me. Little did they know, I was completely different.

"Items summon; Tensa blade and G-blade." I said as I dodged them. Suddenly, a katana and a giant sword appeared in my hands, both black. These were the weapons I used during the Hell event. The Tensa blade has an ability to absorb and release a portion of my power into a dark energy wave. The G-Blade has an ability to cleave through anything. However, they both have a multiple of rare abilities and skills I attached to them.

Rosa appeared behind me and punched me in my face as hard as she could. Unfortunate for her, it didn't do almost anything to me. I swung Tensa to my side and released a large dark wave of energy. It destroyed part of the command center.

"Uh-oh,"

When an item in FIG Adventures are severely damaged, they disappear back into the user's inventory. The command center suddenly vanished around us, and everybody except me falls to the ground. Luckily, they should have the flight abil...lity.

"Crap! I forgot bout V. Again! I'm such a horrible mother."

I rushed down as fast as I could to catch V. However, I couldn't find a single trace of him. Then, a girl attempted attack me from behind, but I felt her coming while using my '6th sense'. A skill that allows me to expand my senses to my surroundings. So, I easily blocked her with G-blade and it easily cut through her completely through. I let go of both swords, which sent them into my inventory, and I flew down and continued to look for my son.

As I arrived to the ground, I see Rosa holding V close, by his neck, with the rest of her party behind her.

"Freya, I hope you're ready to calm down now, and talk." She said.

"Warning! Wrath of the Hell Goddess has been activated." A voice in my head said.

"What do you think you're think you're doing with my son, Rosa?" I said as I released a powerful aura.

I could easily tell that they were afraid as slowly walked towards them. Then, Rosa slightly squeezed.

"Ah ah ah...not a single step closer." She said.

I stopped immediately.

"Good, now power down."

I had no choice but to follow her instructions.

"Excellent! Now, we can talk like civilized people, and get this misunderstanding worked out."she said as she slightly loosened her grip around V's neck.

"Misunderstanding? There's no misunderstanding. Your leader, over there, tried to raped me."

Rosa looked back at him and he shook his head while shrugged his shoulders. Then, she looked back at me with a look that pissed me off. She saw me as a liar. We known each other for years, yet she don't believe me. I'm literally going through a bump in my own marriage about a major lie I told my husband. What do I have to gain from lying to them? Then, I saw leader whisper in her ear. That cheeky rapist.

"Freya, we decided a punishment for you? We decided to get rid of the thing you care for the most." Rosa said as squeezed her hand as hard as she could.

Suddenly, I heard a snapping sound, and V fell to ground. I cried out "Nooooooooo" as I ran up to his body. I grabbed his corpse, hoping there was some kind of life in him. Sadly, he was dead, and couldn't be brought back. Then, his body disappeared from my arms. I cried out more.

"Freya, calm down. That boy wasn't real in the first place. Everything in here is virtual. Fake!" Rosa said as she touched my shoulder.

Unfortunate for them, that was not the thing I wanted to her. She saying my son, who she killed, was not real. I have memories of everything we did here. I cared him and his sister when they sick, and fed them myself. We all lived happily together in the castle. I even taught him how to used a sword. For her to say he... no to say this world was fake! It unacceptable. Suddenly, a memory during the beta test runs through my mind. Rin and I was in bed together talking with each other as we fell asleep in each other's arms.

"Rin, why did you build the FIG interface?" I asks.

He laughs, and asks me "Why do you think I built it?".

"I honestly really don't know. At first, I thought you just wanted to prove something. But, looking at this beautiful virtual world, I could tell you wasn't that pitiful."

"Babe, I need to tell you something important." He said
