We are Friend

Part 4

"Dora, can we talk for a minute?" I was reading a book in the library when suddenly Buto ijo stood in front of my desk.

"What is it?" I asked to him.

"Don't be here, it's not as good as the others." he said.

I chuckle in annoyance, the plan to spend reading a good novel has been cancelled. I returned the novel I read earlier to its original place.

"Just wait for me in the cafeteria, I'll follow later." I told him.

He nodded and quickly left. I followed a few steps behind him. Incidentally, the canteen was quiet, because it was now class time. My lecturer didn't come so I decided to read a novel in the library. But Buto ijo ruined everything.

"What's the matter, it seems so important?" I asked.

"You don't like me around, do you?" he asked back.

"It means?" I asked again.

Both ask who answered this.

"Um, I mean you don't want to be friends with me. Because you seem to be avoiding me all the time."

"Says who?" I'm asking again.

"It's just my feeling, because you don't look happy when I approach you." He answer.

"Because you came when I didn't want to be disturbed. When I was in the cafeteria, I was studying because I wanted to have a quiz, but you just kept asking. It's disturbing concentration, you know. I was also having fun reading my novel."

"Ohh I'm sorry then. So it's not because you don't like me, is it Ra?"

"Idihhh, don't feel like that, okay?" I said laughing.

"Is it okay as a friend?" he asked again.

"As a friend you can, if you don't a friend." I answered.

"Whoa, why?"

"If you keep asking, our friendship will be cancelled!" threatened me.

He raised his hands while laughing. It turned out that chatting with Buto ijo was fun too. I sent a message to Minar asking him to come to the canteen.

Minar soon came and joined our chat. At first he was still shy, but after a while she began to understand that Bayu just wanted to be friends with me and him.

Because the fun of joking I did not notice a pair of eyes staring at us from a distance.

-----------------

"Do you want to go home together?" asked Bayu.

"No, thank you." I answered quickly.

"Okay, you Minar want to come or not?"

"Um, no, bro, we're not going the same way home." Minar replied.

"Well, I failed to get passengers," complained Bang Bayu, laughing.

"Yes, brother, yes."

Bayu's car left the campus parking lot, while we walked to the bus stop.

"Nar, I'll just take an angkot, okay? I want to stop by the cake shop first, Mom left it earlier."

"It's okay, Ra, be careful okay?" I quickly got on when the angkot I was waiting for stopped in front of me.

There are only two passengers in this car. Not long after that one passenger got off, it was just me and a mother sitting in front of me.

The mother smiled at me, I smiled back too. "Just got home from college, kid?" asked the mother.

"Yes ma'am." I answered politely.

The woman looked at the university building behind her. Her face looks very happy. He turned to me and smiled sweetly.

"My children also study there. It's already semester 7, the name is ouch ...."

Before the mother finished speaking, the mother suddenly fainted after holding her head which was hurting. Of course I panicked, the driver also panicked.

"How is this, mis?" he asked.

"Why did you stop, sir, hurry up and take us to the hospital, sir!" I shouted in panic.

"Yes, yes, I'm confusied." The driver immediately stepped on the gas to the hospital.

"Mom, wake up mom!" I tried to resuscitate the mother who slumped weakly on my shoulder.

Arriving at the hospital the mother was immediately given help. I opened the mother's bag to take her cellphone. Then I called the number named father in his contact number.

"Assalamualaikum, what's wrong ma'am? How come you called dad this afternoon?" asked the father there.

"Waalaikumsalam, sorry sir. Your husband and mother have this number, right?"

"Who is this, why is my wife's cell phone with you?" Dad was starting to get angry.

"Don't worry, sir, I'm not a bad person. Your wife fainted in an angkot, so I took her to the hospital. You'd better hurry here. Because I want to go home too, sir." I answered at length.

"Astagfirullah, really son. Yes, I'll be there soon."

"I can go home Non, do you want to pull it again?" asked the driver.

"Wait a minute, sir, her husband will be here soon," I replied. Half an hour later, her husband also came.

He never stopped thanking me and the driver. I said goodbye to him, afraid that my mother would be restless waiting at home. Even though I have a cellphone but forgot to call my mother because I was so panicked.

"Son, wait!" I turned around and saw that my father was calling me.

"What's the matter, sir?" I asked.

"Thank you, girl, if you don't helped my wife, you don't know what will happen to your wife."

"Yes, sir, it's just a coincidence," I replied.

"What's your name, son, who knows later my wife will ask."

"I'm Dora, sir, I'll be here again tomorrow. After college, I'll come right away. Let me go home first. Assalamualaikum."

"Waalaikumsalam, be careful, kid!" I nodded, hurrying home because my stomach felt hungry.

But when I got to the parking lot, my steps stopped again, Bang Ridho and Gita were getting out of the car.

I hid behind another car. They walked past me and into the hospital building. It's a wonder, where do you find these two people? That's all. Crisis is always waiting.

"I'd better avoid them for now. I think it's better just like that."
