Underestimed

Part 5

After returning from college as promised yesterday, Dora visited the mother in the hospital. At first, Dora wanted to invite Minar but she was on business. Finally Dora went alone to the hospital.

"Assalamualaikum, good afternoon ma'am, how are you?" asked Dora while kissing the mother's hand.

"Alhamdulillah, I'm feeling better, thank you for bothering yesterday." replied the mother.

"Mom, here's the bread. Eat it so you get well soon." A small gasis came in with a packet of bread.

She is about 14 years old or so. She smiled at Dora then kissed her hand in a handshake.

"Sister who helped mother yesterday, right?" She asked.

Dora nodded and smiled at her.

"This is my youngest child, his name is Rindu. The eldest is already in college." the mother introduced her child to Dora.

"It's far, isn't it?" asked Dora.

"Yes, after giving birth to her brother, Ridho, it was difficult for mother to get pregnant again. Thankfully, she was still given sustenance, then Rindu was born." explained the mother.

"Wait a minute, Ridho is in the same campus as me, maybe he is Ridho, right?" Dora thought.

"Assalamualaikum ma'am." A voice made Dora turn to the source of the voice.

"Bang Ridho, justify him." Dora shouted in her heart.

Ridho was even more shocked when he saw Dora's presence in his mother's room. But it didn't last long, his smile soon broke.

"Dora how come here?" he asked as he couldn't take his eyes off of Dora's face, which was just looking down.

"You two know each other, bro. It was Dora who helped bring ey to the hospital yesterday." his mother who answered Ridho's question.

"I'm sorry, but I have to hurry home, because I made an appointment with Mom to go to my aunt's house." Dora made up an excuse, even though she didn't want to stay close to Ridho for long.

Her heart wasn't that strong yet. Without waiting long, Dora left the hospital after saying goodbye to Ridho's mother. Meanwhile, Ridho looks disappointed with Dora's departure.

"Why Dho, you are disappointed she came home?" her mother asked.

"No, ma'am," Ridho answered slowly.

"Don't lie Do, your eyes can't lie." Mother's sign. Ridho sighed, then he wrapped his right hand around his mother's shoulder.

"She's Dora Bu, whom Ridho told you about before." Ridho said with a sad face.

" I'm sorry father and mother, Dho, for making it difficult for you. It makes you have to let go of your love."

"Assalamualaikum."

"Waalaikumsalam, why did you just come home Ra? Lately you often come home late you know." Mama was surprised because there was no rebuttal from the only daughter who was super fussy.

Usually the chirping doesn't stop just like a bird on a power line. She walked forward, on the terrace she saw Dora sitting pensive, Dora didn't usually do that.

She sat beside Dora, she looked at Dora's face from the side. So sad and repeatedly he sighed.

"Ra, Dora hey what's wrong with mama's child now?" She gently stroked Dora's hair.

Dora turned and leaned against her mother's shoulder.

"Mom, have you ever fallen in love but didn't get it?" Mama sighed at her daughter's question.

"Still about Ridho, honey?" Dora nodded then lowered her face.

"Listen, Dora, a man who loves you with all his heart will never hurt the woman he loves. Have you ever asked him that?"

Dora shook her head, she never gave Ridho time to give an answer to what had happened so far. "

"Later, Dora try to ask her Ma'am." Mama smiled at Dora's words.

"Come on in, you haven't prayed yet, have you?" ask mom again.

Dora nodded and followed her mother who walked into the house.

" Bayu, my brother!" Dora called Bayu who was carrying a piece of paper.

Dora, who was eating in the cafeteria, immediately ran to Bayu in front of the Student Association office.

"What's wrong baby?" teased Bayu.

"Beib, beib duck times!" Dora replied annoyed.

Bayu laughed loudly making several students look at them.

"Where are you going brother?" asked Dora.

"I Want to stick this in there, where's your tail?"

"The tail? What's the tail?"

"That Minar usually tails behind you like a tail."

Bayu laughed again, this time even louder. Dora just shook her head at him.

"He didn't come in today, he said it hurt." Dora replied.

Then they walked in silence. Several students reprimanded Bayu and Bayu replied with a smile or a nod.

"What's that paper?" asked Dora again.

"Here read it!" replied cool Bayu Huuhh while snorting annoyed Dora read the announcement that Bayu had just posted.

"The nature lover group has opened registration for new members. Hmm, the one who often climbs the mountain, right? Can I register or not?"

"Dora wants to register, let's accompany you now."

Dora followed where Bayu walked, they entered a room that contained all boys. It turns out that this is the space for the Student Secretariat for nature lovers.

"Fer, this lady wants to register. You take care of it first!" The student called Fer immediately took care of Dora's registration.

Not long after, several students came to register after reading the announcement.

"That's the woman herself. Are you sure you want to register, you'll regret it, cry, sulk." A voice teased Dora who was sitting on the terrace of the Secretariat.

Dora looked at the man. Pretty handsome and athletic body with black hair and shady eyes. Unfortunately his mouth is sharp like a knife. Even though he has beautiful eyes, you know. And those eyes are now looking at Dora sharply.

Dora glanced at him then turned her gaze elsewhere.

"What! Don't like it? I'm sure you won't be able to, it's better if you go home and sleep beautifully at home."

"Hey, stop itu, Lik! Don't disturb the new kid." Bayu invites Malik to come inside.

"Hmm, so his name is Malik!" Dora looked at the young man's back.

"Don't try it with Dora, watch out I'll make you fall in love with me."

Note: From this part onwards we will use Author's Pov. Let it fly here and there. Because I wanted to be a flight attendant but couldn't. Eh, even rant!
