Dungeon

"Before we enter the dungeon you need to register at the adventurer's guild to determine and monitor your experience and power level." Said Castor. They are now in the city buying equipment and other things necessary for their adventure.

They entered a build named 'Guild Hall'. The Guild Hall was not that big but it holds it's own tavern for their adventurers. Castor brought Clyde to the desk attendant and said, "I will register him". The attendant then said, "Hmmm. Little boy, put your hand above this crystal globe." Then Clyde placed his right hand above the crystal globe and then the globe light up and then the attendant gave Clyde a bracelet.

"Just tap it twice to view your level." The attendant said. Clyde nodded and tried to tap the bracelet. |Level 3|, that is what the bracelet showed to him. "Your training and hunting are added to your experience and the reason why you are level three right now." Castor said casually as they walk outside the Guild Hall. Clyde followed Castor walked down the street. They entered a store that sells different types of equipment.

"Go pick what weapon and armor that suits you the best." Then Clyde nodded without arguing. He picked a normal sword and a bow with 50 arrows. He was taught how to use bow and arrows by his deceased father back then.

"A sword and a bow? A buckler and a Light armor? Hmmmm. I'll buy it then." Then Clyde paid for it and then they walked towards their carriage.

Then Castor threw a ball towards Clyde. Clyde caught it and stared at it confusedly. "What is this Master?" He asked.

"That is a storage type treasure called Dimensional Space. It has space inside of it with roughly 10 cubic meters in volume. Use it when you pick items that fell on the ground from the monsters we killed like horns, scales, claws, and other body parts that are useful and sellable." Castor explained. "We will now head towards the nearest dungeon." Then the carriage advanced towards the dungeon.

"Ohhhh! Castor Linons my friend! You will enter the dungeon? Good luck, hope you won't run with your tail between your legs like you did last time." A guard standing in front of a great opening is laughing at Castor.

"Tssss. Here!" Then Castor threw a golden coin at the guard. The guard caught it and then said, "Thank you! You can enter now." Then Clyde walked inside while Clyde following his back.

The dungeon is in the Kingdom of Vestraz's territory, so everyone who enters here needs to pay a single golden coin as an entrance fee.

The dungeon is filled with many different monsters. The deeper you go, the fiercer and stronger the monster you face. This place is filled with great opportunities for an adventurer. Treasures, ancient techniques, legacies are the example of what the great fortune an adventurer can have in entering a dungeon.

Dungeons are the place of the ancient gods and decided to hide their selves bellow the ground. They made traps, place monsters, summoning circles and many more just to slow down or kill the invaders.

Many adventurers perish inside the dungeons but other adventurers keep coming even knowing that danger or death awaits them. Why? It is because of great opportunities lying inside. The items of the deceased adventurers and the legacies of the ancient god is what the adventurers truly wants, one of them is, of course, Castor Linons who is the master of Clyde.

"Listen bastard," Linons called Clyde who is following his back.

Clyde just stared at him willing to listen on what is going to say.

"Your life is not my responsibility. Whether you die or live is in your hands. So don't be clumsy and let yourself die, I paid for you so repay my money. Use the skills I gave you and the fruit of that one-month training." Castor said. Then he continued to walk. Clyde just nodded and then said nothing and followed Castor's back as they walk in the dungeon.

They now reached the first level of this 50 level dungeon. The level represents every floor. The first level has an area of roughly 10 kilometers. It has grasses and bushes inside. It also has its own artificial sun. An adventurer who is living in the first level is said to have placed and built the artificial sun but that was thousands of years ago.

The first level is said to be the safest of all levels. Many young aristocrats and other talented adventurers of the Kingdom of Vestraz train in the first level for weeks or months before going deeper.

The first floor or the level one has the weakest monsters there is on the entire floor, the Lightweight Golem. It was a ball with eyes and mouth with sharp fangs and was made of clay. It has different levels of power. Their powers are determined according to their colors. The weakest are color White, followed by, blue, then green and the strongest are red.

In the first level, there are only white-colored Light Golems. It can deal quite damage to low-level adventurers but it can't do anything to those high-level ones like Castor.

"Go and kill those things for you to level up. The battle experience will help you to level up. I will wait for 30 minutes, kill as many as you can." Then he started to fight those monsters.

The White level Light golems pounced on him and he brandished his sword using his self-learned sword stance.

'Get ready to die!' Then he shouted "ARRRRGGGHHH" To express his battle cry.

The Light Golems were startled when they heard a shout. Then most of them hurried where the shout came from and saw a kid.

"RAAAWR" The Light Golems roared in unison while they displayed their sharp fangs.

One by one, they rushed at Clyde. Clyde gripped the hilt of the sword tightly and then he slashed it, but he didn't hit the Light Golem. It bit his arm. He shouted in pain, "ARRRGGHHH" But then Castor just watch him getting bit.

He then stabbed the Light Golem who bit his arm. "FIREBALL!" Then a fiery ball shot out of his hand and hit the Light Golems rushing in his way.

The battle continued for 30 minutes. Clyde suffered from scratches and he is bleeding from head to toe. Castor released his aura that frightened the Light Golems that they decided to flee for their lives.

"Drink this!" Then he gave Clyde a red bottle.

Clyde knew what this bottle with red liquid is and it is a life potion.

Clyde drank the potion and slowly, his wounds closed.

"Check your level now." Castor said at Clyde. Then Clyde tapped his wristband and it displayed his current level of strength.

|Level 5|

"Ohhhh, you are level 5 now? So fast! You really must become an adventurer in the future but just blame yourself because of your bad luck." Castor said with a look of disdain and pity on his face.

The concern he showed at Clyde was not a concern at all. 'Slaves is part of one's power'. The stronger the slave, the stronger you are. Having a slave means you have someone who will kill for you and take damage for you. So to have a powerful slave, he bought Clyde armors and weapons.

Clyde knew all about this. He only let out a sigh and then followed Castor as he walked towards the stairs headed downwards.

They now reached the second level, the maze. The second level was like a maze. The maze is fully mapped making it useless to trap the adventurers and for them to lost inside the maze.

Unlike the first level, it is a dark place with only torches lightening up the entire maze. White level Light Golems and some Blue ones can be found in this level.

"Just follow me so you won't get lost. Just kill those Light Golems so you can level up faster." Then they started walking. The corridor in the maze has an area of 15 meters making it quite spacious for battle.

Clyde brandished his sword every time Light Golems go near him. Only white level ones are showing by this time. Killing Light Golems is much an easier task for him because he leveled up. Every level he goes his body became stronger and his mana capacity increases.

They are still walking towards the entrance of the third level. Blue ones showed up. They are much faster and much stronger. The blue level ones are giving Clyde a hard time. They evaded Clyde sword every time he brandished it.

"Ohohoho! Having a hard time eh?" Clyde laughed at him while he just casually walking and emitting his powerful aura within a meter, enough to drive those Light Golems away.

'What should I do?' Clyde pondered while he drove Light Golems away using his buckler and sword.

Then he finally remembered his skills 'quick steps'. 'If I used quick steps to get closer to the Blue level Light Golems I can catch them off guard!'

He then tried his hypothesis. A blue level Light Golem pounced at him and he brandished his sword, the Blue level Light Golem somersaulted mid-air to evade sword and then Clyde quick-stepped and he appeared right beside the Blue level Light Golem and then stabbed it.

"SUCCESS!" He shouted subconsciously. Castor saw what he did and he said to himself 'Quickstep can be used like that?' and then he smirked with the idea he came up with the help of Clyde.

They proceeded easily down to the next level with Clyde easily killing Blue level and White level Light Golems.
