The Duel

Aria agreed when Cera requested a duel. They then proceeded to the arena, which was fortunately empty so they could engage in combat whenever they wanted. Neo followed them to observe their altercation.

Cera grabbed the big sword on her back and swung it effortlessly through the air, showcasing her impressive strength and skill. Aria, not one to be outdone, drew her own weapon and assumed a defensive stance, ready to counter any attack Cera threw her way.

Aria's still got the blazing sword she got from the mayor's vault; the mayor gave it to her as thanks for destroying the airship and helping them win the battle of Redo.

Aria and Cera exchanged glances, waiting to see who would move first, while Neo stood off to the side, taken aback by the intensity they were displaying simply through their eyes.

Cera then leaps toward Aria with such a speed, despite the large sword she was holding she can still quickly attack Aria.

Aria, caught off guard by Cera's sudden burst of speed, barely manages to dodge the initial strike. As the clash continues, it becomes evident that Cera's agility and precision with the sword make her a formidable opponent.

With the flames her sword is producing, Aria quickly counterattacks Cera. Cera maneuvers swiftly to avoid the flames Aria keeps hurling at her.

"Time to use my magic too!" Cera exclaimed as she dodged Aria's flames.

In just a blink of an eye, the entire arena turned icy; the flames that Aria's sword was generating vanished as a result of the extreme cold, leaving Aria momentarily defenseless. Cera took advantage of the situation, swiftly closing in on Aria with her sword poised for a decisive strike.

Cera was about to land a hit on Aria when they were interrupted by a sudden, big explosion in the distance, causing both of them to turn their attention away from each other. The explosion sent shockwaves through the arena, shaking the ground beneath their feet and filling the air with smoke and debris. Unsure of what was happening, Cera and Aria momentarily forgot about their duel as they scanned the area for any signs of danger.

"What the hell was that" Cera exclaimed.

On the city's gates, the explosion took place. Three airships began to approach the city as they watched it. Along with the dragonriders flying in the direction of the three airships, they also noticed a group of Vongordian soldiers rushing toward the gate.

After that, the airships begin firing at the city, turning the clear air into smoke. The deafening sound of explosions echoed through the streets as buildings crumbled under the relentless assault. Panic gripped the city's inhabitants as they desperately sought shelter from the raining chaos.

"It's the Azkon Empire!" "Run!" "Everybody! get to the castle quickly!" "What the hell is happening" "I thought were safe in this city" "Keep firing at those airships!" "Get inside the castle!" "Mommy!" "Give them hell!" "Go! Go! GO!" "Fire!!" "AHHHH!" "For Vongord!!" "The gates are destroyed!" "Shoot those damn airships!"

As the airships continue to approach Tyrolia, the city has progressively descended into hell. The once vibrant streets were now filled with the cries of terrified citizens and the haunting wails of sirens. The acrid smell of burning debris permeated the air, making it difficult to breathe.

Cera begged, "Aria, Neo, let's go inside the castle; we can't do anything about those airships."

"Let's go, Neo!" Aria yelled, but he remained silent, so she turned to face him. She then became aware of Neo's startled expression. Neo muttered, "Kamilla," while keeping an intense focus on the massive airship in the center of the fleet. Aria then grabbed Neo's hand and dragged him toward the castle.

As they sped up to the castle, Aria could feel Neo's hand trembling. She was unaware of Neo's circumstances. But she was aware that once inside, they would need to find safety and devise a strategy. Aria was left wondering about Neo's relationship with the Kamilla and why it appeared to have such a profound impact on him as they neared the castle gates.

Cera looked around for her family after entering the castle, leaving Aria and Neo at the castle entrances. "Neo! What is happening to you?" Aria exclaimed, looking at Neo, who was still shaking. Neo then suddenly wake and took a deep breath, trying to steady himself.

"Aria?" he said

"Neo, what's happening?" She inquired

"Some of the memories I lost suddenly began entering my head after seeing the ship in the middle of that fleet." Neo replied

"What do you mean?" Aria asked

"I got an amnesia, Aria, i don't remember anything about my past." Neo responded

Aria said in shock, "That's terrible.

Scarlet is once again perched on the top balcony of the Kamilla, watching the city burn to the ground, she then looks on the castle and murmured, "I feel something familiar on that castle."

Then Kaizer approached her from behind, knelt, and said, "General Scarlet, you really caught the whole country of Vongord off guard."

Scarlet then turned her head toward Kaizer and said, "Don't give me credit for the plan I just stole from my master."

Kaizer looked at Scarlet with admiration and replied, "Regardless, your execution of the plan has been flawless. Your master would be proud." Scarlet smirked and responded, "I just hope he can see this"

"What do you mean General Scarlet?" Kaizer inquired out of curiosity.

"Well, my master was missing for a year now, i don't know what happen to him" Scarlet replied

"Maybe your master was already dead, General" Kaizer said

"Oh, Kaizer, you fool, my master was a strong swordsman, and even though he can't use magic, he can still beat me right now, so I really doubt he's dead." Scarlet responded

"I'm quite intrigued to your master, General Scarlet, would you kindly tell me more about him?" Kaizer asked

"Sure, we still got time, so let me tell you everything about my master." Scarlet responded.
